Dominic looked around the cold darkening sky. The clouds had almost completely covered the sky and a light snow was falling. He loved it. It showed such a deep consideration for things and not to mention it matched his soul. His cold, dark soul could be seen enjoying only a few things. He felt the soft snow touch his cheek. He could barely feel it, but the slight temperature change had made him realize the snow. He lifted his hand and tried to catch the snow in his cold palm, but as soon as it touched his hand it melted. The snow would not stay. Dominic felt the cold breeze against his face and his face stung from the cold. His fingers could hardly bend anymore and his jacket-less arms were numb. His dark brown hair lifted from his neck as the wind picked up. He lifted his other hand and clutched tightly in his fist was a letter. He had received it that morning, but hadn't actually registered it. He took the crumpled piece of paper and threw it has hard as he could into the air. The wind took it and Dominic watched as the paper flew into the air never to be seen again.
Dominic felt the evil inside of him rise up again. His eyes burned with hatred and he wanted more than anything to find his parents. They were responsible for everything that had happened to him. They were the ones that had hurt him and they were the ones that were going to pay. By Zeus, he would be damned to let himself pay for everything that had happened. He wasn't about to let them take him down again. Dominic felt his finger nails digging into his palms from the force of his anger. He took a deep breath and released his anger. He didn't need it right now and he definitely didn't need to be getting into trouble for dueling outside of the dueling club. Dominic turned to go back inside, but something caught his attention in the corner of his eye. Turning quickly he tried to find what he had seen, but there was nothing there. The dark figure that had passed by him wasn't really there. He squinted against the snow as the wind picked up and the snow fell harder. Yet, he still couldn't find what he thought he had seen. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his wand. He wasn't about to let himself go unarmed when he had seen something.
After a few minutes of staring quietly into the darkness he decided he had only been seeing things. He turned back to the castle and looked up at the bright lights illuminating the castle. He could see a few students looking out the windows down at him. He resisted the urge to yell at them. Instead he turned his attention back to the inch of snow that was on the ground. Bending down he touched the cold soft snow with his fingers. The snow was no longer cold. His fingers were numb and his body was shivering deep within itself. Dominic sighed as he stood and watched the snow fall slowly. He got lost in the sound and sight never once looking around him.
