Padme bit her lip. Things weren't right. She had just gotten a letter from Roger saying she was to meet him this weekend. She couldn't bring anyone along, but he hadn't said she couldn't keep it a secret. If she was to tell, who would care? If she told Jack...he would make sure to be home during the weekend. If she told Mack - she'd probably just do another talking-to; trying to get all the answers before coming up with a solution. Padme sighed. And there was no Dixie to tell anymore. She missed her big sister very much. She missed the early summer days, when she could sit down by Tessa and feel like a daughter. Feel like she belonged.
Hogwarts was very lively today. Padme hated it when everyone was around in the halls, gossiping with their friends and be so....disgusting. Padme dodged most of the mudbloods but some were unavoidable. When this occurred, she was forced to walk by, her eyes so hard they looked like hardened honey. With an indignant sniff, Padme would stalk off and ignore their very existence. She sighed and looked down at her old tabby cat, Sapphire. She seemed so big now; but old too. There was a limp in her step and Padme felt very horrible for bringing her along. Sapphie was almost eighteen now. Padme smiled, her lips cracking in the process, and bent down to pick old Sapphie up. The poor girl, Padme thought with a dead glint in her eyes.
She went toward the Grounds, Sapphie purring in her arms. Things are going to be better, Padme told herself quietly as she edged toward a group of willow trees. They had long branches that weaved down and softly touched the people underneath. No one was there. Padme walked over to the magnificent trees and sat down in the middle of the entwined branches. Things were much cooler under here and she shivered. Sapphie stepped lightly out of Padme's slack arms and wondered around the trees. When nothing interesting came upon her path, Sapphie settled down on Padme's lap. A snap cracked through the air after fifteen minutes of perfect silence. Padme stood up quickly, startling Sapphie, who had already left the warmth of her lap to hiss at the intruder.
"What do you want?" Padme asked through the curtain of branches rather aggressively, her hand keep Sapphire at her side.

Mitch had been the the owlery all day with Finn his owl he had been sitting on the floor just grooming his pet for about an hour before Finn took off down to the grounds Mitch quickly got to his feet and ran out of the owlery and down flight after flight of stairs he was dodging the older kid and the scum a.k.a the mudbloods which were packed together on the stairs talking . Mitch ran down hundreds of stair and dodged nearly every person but on the marble stair case he ran into some one not stopping to find out who he ran off after his owl but shouting sorry over his shoulder . Mitch made it outside in one piece , he stoped and laid down on the grass so that he could catch his breath before he looked for his owl .
Mitch got up after about 5 minutes of being on the ground got to his feet a brushed down his robes which now had grass on them , then he began calling his owl he walked around calling '' Finn'' for about 10 minutes before he caught site of him flying on to the top a willow tree . Mitch ran over to the tree and called Finn once more but he heard some one in there a girl some one saying "What do you want?" mitch pushed his way past the low hanging branches n to the cold but very nice shade of the willow trees MItch looked up and he could see Finn sitting at the very top if the tree . Mitch then answered the question put to him and said '' I want my owl he came over here , how come your under here Padme ? '' Mitch remembered her from the common room he had seen her once or twice''.

Padme glared at Mitch, who had come under the willow tree. She had never spoken to the boy in her year yet, and right now she had no desire to do so. She raised a cool eyebrow at him as he talked about his owl and then asked her why she was under here. Couldn't he mind his own business? Padme sat back on the lush grass and eyed the boy for a moment. To speak or not to speak... She debated for a while before deciding to see what the boy had for status.
"Can't you control your bloody owl?" She spat at him. So much for the welcome wagon. "Why is he over here? Uncontrollable?" Padme glared at Mitch with such a drive she was sure it hurt. She let go of the gaze and looked around the willow tree. She didn't see any owl around here. It's probably on the outside, Padme thought with a devilish smirk. Good thing too, or it be stiff as a board right now. "As for what I'm doing under here, why should you care? I'm here because I want to be." Padme smirked and tugged on Sapphie just a bit. She had been meandering. Padme didn't want Sapphie to bite the boy; she would get in huge trouble for that if she was unable to heal it herself. And her healing spells weren't exactly the greatest. With a final soothing word and a small tug, Sapphie was controlled and sat down at Padme's side.
"Well?" Padme asked as the boy hadn't moved right away after her words. "What are you waiting for? Go outside and get the bloody beast!" Padme stood up abruptly from her sitting spot to walk around the tree. Sapphie followed at her heels very obediently. She went out of the shade of the willow and to the sunny Grounds once more. Shading her eyes away from the bright light, Padme tilted her face upward. Yes, there sat a shadowy figure; an owl was most certainly up there. "That's an easy problem to be solved." Padme noted, clearly cross with the boy. "Are you a wizard or not? Use magic for goodness sake and get him down!"

Mitch really didn't like using magic to get Finn down from places he usually just called him and he came so Mitch tried calling him again , he put his arm out and called ''Finn down '' and by some miracle Finn took off and swooped down on to Mitch's arm then Mitch turned to Padme and said '' no need for magic was there ? '' then finished with a cocky grin before stroking his head with one of his fingers .
( sorry its so short )

((Don't worry about it. )) Padme glared at Mitch with annoyance. He had used magic just to defy her! Padme could see it in him, and she was really in no mood for the grin he gave her next. What was he thinking? Acting like some silly, Hufflepuff?! Padme crossed her arms over her chest and heaved in a breath of air. She must be having a heart attack of some sort. Slytherins acting... like this were no Slytherins at all. Padme had temper, anger, and sarcasm, which wasn't usually common in Slytherins, who were cool and collected, but she did have pride and arrogance. Where was his? Where was his Slytherin heritage? Padme stood there, completely winded by his behavior. "No," Padme managed after taking a few heavy breaths to calm herself down. Otherwise, she may well have not been able to talk. "There was no need but... you're a wizard! You use magic because you can, not to show off you control of that...that bird!" Padme took another calming breath, glaring at Mitch with as much ferocity she cold muster. "Honestly!" She huffed, clutching Sapphie in her arms so the cat wouldn't jump out at Mitch. She could sense Padme's anger and frustration just as well as Padme could. With a meow, Sapphire settled against Padme, keeping one glassy green eye on Mitch. "Are you a pureblood or not?" Padme sneered. Mitch wasn't doing very well on Padme today, especially because of her confusion and befuddlement. Meeting Roger! Her used-to-be father! Imagine that! Padme kept her mind on the present. Mitch had just caught her at a bad time. She had bottled up all her fury, but it had snapped from it's frail confines just because of a grin.
