Aubree walked from the corridors to the serenity of the lake. She loved it there. It was always calm and still. The creatures in the murky waters moved about, but they didn't bother Aubree one bit. She wasn't easily sacred. She wouldn't let herself be that way. Being scared was easy. To her it was a fool's way out. Aubree wouldn't let herself be an easy fool. She continued to walk the walls sneering at the filth that passed. Most of them were talking loudly and running about and that Aubree couldn't stand. She had been raised to be quiet most of the time. If she even said a word without permission her parents would punish her severely. Most of the Hogwarts students didn't bother Aubree, but the talkers well, they were a different story. She finally reached the large doors and gently pulled them open. They were hard to maneuver, but she could handle it.
As she closed the wooden doors, Aubree adjusted her long, blond hair. She wanted it to be presentable. Aubree was very keen on keeping a nice appearance all the time. That was another lessons taught by her parents. The punishments for that were stricter than the others because her parents believed that if you look unrepresentable then no one will listen to you. If no one will listen to you, they won't trust you. Aubree wanted people to trust her because without trust, she couldn't get the very thing she wanted. She picked up her robes as she walked down the large outdoor steps to the lake. Aubree had planned to practice her spells near the lake that day. She was tired of the cold dungeons. They were stuffy and occupied mostly by first years. Most of them were acceptable, but others weren't. Aubree found a dry spot on the ground by the water that she approved of. She brushed some of the dirt off around it and settled down. She then reached into her green, silk bag for her wand and began to practice her spells. Aubree practiced her spells everyday because she knew someday she would need them and she would be ready. "Impervious." She said clearly pointing towards the water. Aubree watched as some water lifted from the lake onto a near by plant. She continued to practice smiling at her work.
