Cheerleading practice for two (Elisabeth)

Maryn had just gotten up and was now untangling her hair. She brushed it fiercely to get all the knots out. Once she got to where she liked it, she put it up in a cute pony-tail on the top of her head. Maryn then changed into her red and white Gryffindor practice uniform and placed her bag on her bed. She threw her pom-poms, water bottle, wand, and small boom box inside and zipped it up tightly. She placed the red bag on her shoulder and looked around her dorm. She and Elisabeth had made a practice for that morning for the two of them. It was just to get ready for the upcoming Cheerleading practices and such. Elisabeth wasn't in the dorm so Maryn ventured into the common-room to find her. "Elisabeth!" Maryn called, but she wasn't in site. "I bet she's with Thomas." Maryn laughed at the thought. She knew Elisabeth felt more for him then just like. Maryn then decided to head to the grounds hoping Elisabeth would meet her there.

Maryn opened the huge doors and set off to find the perfect spot. She then headed towards the lake next to Hagrid's hut. It seemed like the perfect spot and she was sure Hagrid wouldn't mind if they practiced there as long as they stayed away from his pumpkins. Maryn threw her bag on the ground and placed her self into a split. She stretched like that for a bit. She didn't want to try any flips with not being warmed-up. Maryn continued to stretch as she waited for Elisabeth.

Elisabeth dashed down the hallway, hurrying to get to the dormitory. She had completely forgotten about her cheerleading 'practice' with Maryn. She sprinted up the steps and went into her room. A smile spread across Elisabeth's face as she saw her red and white uniform. She changed quickly, and put her hair up into a bun. Now that's never going to some out. She thought to herself. Her hand flew to her bed, she took out a few cds, some Gatorade, and her pom-poms. She dashed down the stairs and out into the grounds, careful not to crush any smaller students.

The sun felt refreshing on her face as she looked for Mayrn. Then Elisabeth spotted her near Hagrid's hut, stretching. She walked over, waving to her friends that were scattered around the lake. She plopped down next to Mayrn. "Sorry I'm late, go a little distracted waiting for...you know. But I'm ready...how much longer 'till we start?"

Maryn spotted Elisabeth. She smiled at her as she said her hello. "Yea, I know." She laughed. "Just stretch a little first." She told her. "Believe me it's not fun to pull a muscle." She laughed again. Maryn was a very social and happy person. That annoyed some people and other just knew that was the way she was. She probably became that way with a life of disappointment. Her parents were always so negative to her about different things. They hated that she was in Gryffindor and they let her know it. In spite of that, she was always fun and light. Maryn was barely ever seen without a smile.

After a few minutes of stretching she got up. "Hey, have you ever cheerleaded before? I know your good at it, I was just wondering." Maryn was pretty curious. She listened for Elisabeth's response. "Well, anyway let's do some basic stuff before we practice dances. Oh, and since you are my friend and a good dancer. I was wondering if you would like to help me make up some dances?" She asked. Maryn was the Gryffindor Captain and was supposed to make up all the cheers and stuff, but she could use a helping hand. She then did a few cartwheels and round offs. Nothing major, but it got her loose and ready for harder things.
