RESTING IN LAKE ((Zenia Rogers H3))

[Rosaliz Hernandez G6]

Rosaliz finished her breakfast as fast as she could and headed to her common room. She went up to her dorm and into her trunk. She looked for her bathing’ suit, that her mother got her, two weeks before attending Hogwarts (even though she didn’t know how to swim). She planed to go in the lake since it was ninety degrees outside. After she changed, she went outside…talking under breath she was still mad that she made no friends yet. She decided to relax in the water and nothing else staying in shallow end. She went into the lake it was cold but felt very refreshing… After fifteen minutes of being in the lake, students were coming out of the building enjoying the weather as well as the weekend, with no homework or the need of studying....

Suddenly out of nowhere Rosaliz felt somebody pushing her under water. It was like if she was being swallowed up by the lake, Rosaliz splashed in horror…calling for help. Rosaliz tried to inhale some air but she only tons swallowed water. She struggled on getting out, but was pulled even more into the deep end. She was under the water hoping for somebody to rescue her. She felt somebody grab her arm and pull her up to the surface.

Rosaliz opened her eyes; she was laying on the warm grass. She saw somebody looking down at her. But couldn't tell if it was a boy or girl because her vision was a bit blurry. She was quite relieved to have been alive. She sat up and said to the person all wet in their robes "Thank you, how can I ever repay you?"

Zenia walked out of the big doors by the entrance hall and entered the grounds. She was going to go out and finish her potions homework. She wondered how people could stay inside-side on a day like this! It was beautiful out! The sky was clear, and there was a light breeze in the air. She took a deep breath of air and started walking toared her spot by the huge tree by the lake. She saw a girl swimming in the water...well sorta swimming. I looked like she was doing some sorta weird dance. She would go under the water and come back up after a few seconds. It didn't even seem like she could swim! Oh my gosh! She is in trouble! Zenia thought. She looked around to see if anyone was around. There was know one around. Zenia new what she had to do. She drooped her book and ran to the lake, her heart pounding. She jumped into the water and swam to the struggling girl. Zenia grabbed the girls arm and swam to the shore. It seemed to take forever to get there. Finally her toe stubbed land, and she fell to the ground with the girl coughing and sputtering next to her. Zenia got up and looked at the girl. The girl looked up, and started talking very fast. Zenia gave a little relieved laugh, and said-
"You don't need to repay me! But are you alright?"
Zenia helped the girl into a sitting position and waited for her answer.

Rosaliz was quite relieved that the girl had saved her. “I’m sorry that I made you get me in the lake, but look on the brightside…at least you’re refreshed a bit since it’s really hot.” She said giggling a bit. Rosaliz stared at the girl a bit and then said “well let me introduce myself...my name is Rosaliz Hernandez and I eleven years old. This is my first year here and I’m in Gryffindor. I have many qualities that your house has. I love reading any book but I brave to stand up to any body. And by the way you saw my outside in the lake…that was not me being brave. I just can’t swim, that’s all.” Rosaliz blushed a little bit worried she mad a fool out of herself. Then she said “Well, what I can see this is going to be the beginning of a lovely relationship”, Rosaliz sunbathed in the sun laying down on the warm grass. She was waiting for the girl to introduce herself to.

Zenia smiled a bit and said "Its no problem, I am just glad your okay" Zenia moved herself into a different sitting position, feeling herself weighed down by the wet robes. Well Rosaliz is definitely brave Zenia thought with a week smile. There was no way I would have been able to go swimming if I couldn't swim, I am just not that brave, Zenia thought. Zenia could stand up to people easily but she couldn't stand up to things she was afraid of.
"My name is Zenia Rogers, and I am a third year Hufflepuff. Yes a beautiful friendship! That would be nice." Zenia laid down on the grass with her arms spread out trying to get her robes dry. This will be mice I haven't meet many other friendly people yet, Zenia thought with a satisfied sigh.

While Rosaliz was sunbathing, her stomach started grummbleing. She was quite hungry. She looked at her clock..She couldn't belive it was all ready four in the afternoon, no wonder why she was hunngry!! She got up to her feet and asked Zenia "I'm going inside wanna come??" Rosaliz stood there waiting for a reply.

Zenia sat up. Her stomach must have been thinking the same thing as Rosaliz's. Zenia took a deep gulp of the fresh afternoon air and smiled. "Sure! That would be very nice" Zenia smiled again, and feeling giddy she slowly got up making sure to stretch her arms and legs. Her robes where nearly dry, there was still a few damp spots but she was still glad that she wouldn't go walking into the Great Hall soke and wet. She walked a few feet and turned as she waited Rosaliz to walk with her up the big hill.

Rosaliz walked after Zenia. After they made it up to the doors, she opened them. She never realized how heavy they were. The great hall was completely deserted except for the chairs and tables. Rosaliz then said, “don’t mind. We can have lunch in no time.” She then took out her wand and tapped it onto the table. Food was placed on the table, with refreshing drinks, sandwiches and desserts, which included ice cream. “Well I find it quit weird, but nonverbal spells are easier for me” said Rosaliz. She than sat down with Zenia waiting her to say something, or at least to reply to her thoughts

Zenia starred at the food that Rosaliz charmed up with wide eyes, her mouth watering and her stomach growling ferociously. "Wow thats pretty cool." Zenia said with a wide smile. "Very classy. Do you mind if I start?"

Zenia graped a turkey sandwich, and some pumpkin juice. She was half way through her sandwich when she noticed how rude she was being. "Oh sorry...I am really hungry." Zenia gave a small smile and turned red. "Its all very good, mine isn't as good as this. She turned to Rosaliz.
"How do you do it?" She then swallowed a huge bit of turkey sandwich fallowed by a cold long refreshing drink of the pumpkin juice, and waited for Rosaliz's reply.

Rosaliz was quite glad that Zenia said that she charmed the food very good. “It is quite simple, I just practiced, and practiced. I mostly had done it bunches of times, since I’m always late for the feast. Just like today for lunch.” Rosaliz giggled thinking about it. She didn’t get embarrassed to it at all. “So, Zenia, what classes are you taking this year?…Well ancient runes, Defense against the dark arts. Are my favorite subjects. What are your favorite subjects?” Rosaliz sat there waiting for a reply.

"Mmumm" Zenia failed miserably at trying to talk with food in her mouth. She swallowed and said. Well I like Transfiguration, and Charms. I am taking almost every class this year! But I am horrible at History of Magic, because I fall asleep allot." She said with a giggle. So what about you? What classes do you hate? Are you in any clubs? She took a big bite of the sandwich as she waited for Rosaliz's answer.

Rosaliz couldn't believe she had so much in common with Zenia. She her own self was bad at the subject, since she fell asleep in it all the, since the professor, just talked and talked, notthing else. Rosaliz finished her drink and decided to move onto dessert. She took a pastery that was filled with jello inside. "I'm in no clubs, since I haven't found-out about and and I'm just to lazy to do some research. I also hate History of magic just like you since...I sleep in it to." She said after swallowing her food. Rosaliz then looked at Zenia and said "are you going to have dessert? and um..are you in any clubs?" Rosaliz sat there waiing for a reply.

"Eh no, I may join some next year, its too much time for me. And I like you, am lazy too. Zenia giggled. "Thanks I think will have a dessert." Zenia grabed the chocolate chip cookie and bite into it. zenia swallowed her cookie and said, "So what other things do you like?

“Hmmm…Other things that I like, well I like to read, A LOT…I love being ahead of people, in subjects. I love making my friends and make other people feel good about themselves and help them when times are hard.” Rosaliz said giggling. ;D “Nothing else much. So how about you?” she asked waiting for a reply.

"Well pretty much the same thing as you, I love to read, I also like to draw, thats my only real talent"
Zenia gave a small laugh and continued
"I am really shy, its hard for me to make friends, I guess you could say that I am overly quiet, or something like that."
Zenia blushed, she doubted that it made sense but she needed something to say. She sighed and took another long drink of her pumpkin juice.
"So...so do you have any pets?"
Wow Zenia thought that was a dumb question. But hey long silences need some way of ending.

"NO, I don't have any...my always complained about them" she said, after finising her dessert. Rosaliz looked at her wristwatch. "oh, my!!!! I gotta go, I was suppose to meet a Gryffindor in my common an hour ago. "she said standing up "sorry for being so rude but I need to go, It was nice meeting you, Rosaliz said running out of the hall.

((It's about time to have finished this, since school's over. All we have to do is countinue roleplaying in Diagon alley. That's all. ;D))
