Sitting Under A Tree ((Anyone))

Alana held her black cat, Hadrian, in her lap as she sat under a tree and watched students swim in the lake. Two Gryffindors, a Hufflepuff and a Ravenclaw. A group of Slytherin girls, probably 4th year, were sitting across the lake, whispering. Alana stroked her cat.

"Looks like another beautiful day with nothing to do." she said to no one in particular. She closed her eyes and leaned her head back on the tree, breathing in the fresh air.

Thomas had been bored of the castle so he had set out for the lake. He was thinking of going in for a swim but he was not in a very good mood for swimming he felt more like sleeping. After he found a nice tree to sit by he changed his mind about sitting. He climbed up the tree and closed his eyes the breeze was nice. He closed his eyes and started to fall asleep. It wasn't a very nice dream at all. It was about what a nightmare summer is going to be.

Thomas woke up to the voice of a girl and he was actually glad to wake up. She had said something about it being a beautiful with nothing to do so Thomas decided to change that. Thomas hung upside down from a branch. "Yes it is a beautiful day." He said smiled being upside the blood was going to his head.

Alana opened her eyes and turned her head, startled. She looked up and saw a boy hanging upside-down from a branch in the tree. He looked around her age, and was probably from Hufflepuff judging by his robes.

She had thought she was alone, but, you really can never tell at Hogwarts. Happy to find something to do, she smiled up at the boy. "Hi, I'm Alana. What's your name?"

Thomas did a little flip off the branch and landed on his back. Thomas got up and brushed the dirt off his robes and smiled. He was a little embarrassed, he hoped he would land it but that didn't happen. "Hi I'm Thomas." He smiled and laughed. "As you can guess I don't have very good balance". He said laughing then smiled. Thomas looked down and saw a cat he was going to pet it but he didn't know if it was evil or not. He had had some bad run in with cats at hogwarts.

Alana stifled a laugh as the boy landed on his back. He said his name was Thomas. She laughed when he said he didn't have very good balance. She saw him look at Hadrian.

"You can pet him. His name's Hadrian. He wont like it at first, but once he gets to know you, he'll be fine." She looked at his robes. "So you're in Hufflepuff, huh? How old are you? I'm 13."

Thomas sat down right next to her and leaned back on the tree. He moved his hand to the cat it didn't seem to be that evil so he petted him and he was nice enough. "Yes I’m in hufflepuff and I’m 14." He said smiling he liked it when he was a little older then people he didn't know why.

He looked back at the cat. "When I was picking out an animal for school I was thinking about a cat." He said thinking back. "But I ended up getting a frog, the darn think is more loyal then a dog." He said and laughed at the end.

Seth went out from the Slytherin commen room and decided to go outside. He had beforehand thought about swimming but changed his mind because he saw that there was many people already swimming and he didn't want to bother them although he did want to make a friend. He found a nice open bench and leyed down. He coulkd hear in thje distant 2 people talking and laughing but he ignored it. He fell asleep and slept for about 45 minutes. He then woke up to a lot of people talking and walking by him.
