Sometimes, I imagine the world without you. But most times, I’m just so happy that I ever found you. It’s a complicated web, that you weave inside my head. So much pleasure with such pain. Hope we always, always stay the same. Marcy's WWW blared out her music as she slipped her large teal sweater over her head, it went off her right shoulder which showed her dark purple sports tank. Her dark purple cotton skirt went to her knees, and her footless black tights leaded down to her black flats. She looked like a picture out of the 80's. But she didn't mind, she liked her style. Her hair was down for once but it had rainbow clips in it. Around her neck was her cross, and her arms were lined with bracelets and arm bands. Her makeup was subtle, then again it never really was striking. Marcy didn't like caking her face with makeup, she thought it distorted the real her.
Marcy picked up her WWW and placed her headphones over her ears as she left the dorm and headed down to the common room. It was full of annoying first years, Marcy sighed and continued out, hoping to find some solitude elsewhere. It was hard to find in a school like this. Large and packed with students, though Marcy usually found it. Sometimes more often than she expected she ever would. Today she entered the courtyard, happy that there weren't many people there. Her music still playing in her ears, she sat down on a bench. Then sat back - her face against the sun, but her aviator sunglasses blocking out the sun that leaked through her closed eyes. Her aviator sunglasses were her most prized possession, not because someone she loved gave them to her - but because they are the one thing that stayed constant in her life. Nothing else did, everything else changed and moved and drifted. Marcy needed something to hold onto that would stay, and that's exactly what the sunglasses did.
With music in her ears and the sun beating down on her, Marcy found herself drifting off into sleep. She didn't worry about getting burnt or anything, she rarely ever did that - nor did she tan. Her skin tone just didn't like the sun, so it stayed one shade the whole year. Maybe that's why she found it so easy to fall asleep. But it was much easier to wake up when there was a loud commotion, Marcy's eyes opened and she sat up to see three first year girls running around the courtyard. So much for solitude. Marcy groaned and laid back down on the bench, her arm over her eyes and her other arm on her stomach.
