Auron woke up to a loud meow from right next to him, he then tried to close his eyes but the meow just happened again. He then put the pillow over his head but he could still hear it. "Fine, fine I'm awake." He said getting out of bed and then looking over to see his cat scaring at him. "What?" He said then went to go get changed. After he changed, his cat was on his bed waiting to follow him down stairs. Auron’s sighed then walked down with his cat right behind him to the great hall. As he was sitting down eating a letter fell right in front of his face and he grabbed it before it hit his food. He saw it was from his mom then finished eating.
After he was done eating he headed to the courtyard to read the letter. Auron sat down on the ground with his back to the wall and opened the letter. It was all the normal stuff his mom sent. He was used to the same questions over and over then was a little surprised at the end of the letter. He put his head back and looked at the sky. "So they’re not going to be home for the summer...great, just great." He said in a depressed tone. He then put his head down and could see his cat annoying some girl by rubbing on her leg. "Leave her alone." He said out loud so his cat would come to him and stop bugging the girl. The cat ran to him and meowed loudly. "You’re really being a pest today." He said still in a sad tone, petting her.

Leah woke up excited, but depressed. Her father had just died and the funeral was tommarow. On the other hand, she was excited beacause it was the last day of the year. She picked out a blue shirt and black pants, according to her mood. She took and hot shower and brushed her hair and teeth. She decided to go to the courtyard because it had been awhile since she had been there. She walking to a tree in the far back corner and lie down, trying to forget about her dad. She just couldn't let go of him, at least not yet. She looked up at the sky and felt something furry rubbing against her leg. She peeked and it was someone's cat. Then she heard the boy who sat down in the tree infront of her yell. "Is that your cat?" Leah asked.
She didn't know his name, and Leah was very well mannered so it was an instinct to introduce herself. "Oh, by the way I'm Leah from Gryffindor. What's your name?" Leah asked while putting her hair behind her ear.
