Snow had already begun to fall around Hogwarts. The entire castle and grounds was covered with a few inches of it. Pyro couldn't help but be amazed at the endless stream of snow. Although that didn't seem to stop all the necessary things that needed to be done. Classes still had to be attended, homework still needed to be done, Quidditch practices still needed to be attended, and most of all, he had to keep up with his training. The weather had turned to cold for Pyro to simply take of his shirt and workout comfortably. Not to mention the snow soaked his skin making it even colder. He had been at a loss for what to do. He couldn't work out properly in a thick warm shirt. Yet he couldn't take it off either due to the snow.
As much as he hated to admit it, a muggle attire saved him. A few weeks back he had been rummaging through his chest and had found an old discarded Kendo magazine. He flipped it open and read through it, he hadn't practiced Kendo in a while, reading the magazine he remembered how much he missed it. Than suddenly, it hit him. He looked at a picture of a boy. The boy wore the bottom half of his suit. The top part was off frame somewhere and his helmet and sword were tucked away under his arm, but none of this struck Pyro aside from what the boy was wearing as a shirt.
Pyro recognized it. It was under armor. A skin tight shirt that kept a body warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Within a week Pyro had made the preparations and a few pairs of under armor had been sent to him. He now stood in the courtyard, wearing a pair of sweats pants that were soaked from the knee down, and some under armor. He performed a few kicks and maneuvers. He had been out here all day training. He was just nearing the end of his routine when the sound of crunching footsteps in the snow reached his ears.

Jeff felt energetic today. He felt like he had eaten too much and had energy to burn. He decided to walk casually outside. He wore a white Under Armour under a green sweater. He always wore an Under Armour as an under shirt. He pulled on some loose green "Plastic" jeans, as his mother called it. They call it plastic because it is made from the same material as jeans, but you can move freely like it was plastic jumpers. He walked through the Common Room and out to the Grounds. He got to the entrance to Hogwarts and, as soon as he got outside, he started jogging. He jogged at a brisk pace around the lake and headed toward the Courtyard to rest on a bench.
He made it there to find that all were covered in snow. He decided just to slowly walk until he got his breath then he wiped the snow off and sat. Immediately the coolness seeped through his jeans. He stood up and stood for a few moments before noticing a fellow Slytherin practicing what look like Ju Jit Zu at first, but later found out was Kendo. He know a little Tae Kwon Doe, so he decided to join him. He walked by and greeted him with a simple "Hey". He took position and stood waiting for an attack.

Pyro turned around to see a older looking boy approach. The boy didn't look to old, only about a year or so. Pyro eyed the boy's clothing with a raised eyebrow. The jeans appeared to be plastic and he also wore an under armor shirt. The boy simply said "hey" and than went into a ready position.
Pyro smirked, it seemed like this boy wanted to play. Pyro fully turned to face the boy and got down into a ready crouch. His right front was in front. He sat there for a moment, checking on the other boys stance. Pyro knew nothing about him or his style. He decided to test this guy out first with a few simple attacks.
Pyro ran foreword just enough to get the two withing range. He than threw a lazy straight foreword kick at the boys chest with his right leg.

Jefferey had studied the boy's stance as long as he could, because in some martial arts their stance indicates what they shall do next. For example, Someone with a ready stance right leg forward they would probably, for a stronger attack, attack with their left as to swing it around and gain more momentum. Jeffery stood expecting such an attack, but to his surprise the boy threw a right. Jeffery didn't have much time to think. He threw up his hands to block. He did, but he hadn't enough time to put force behind it so it still pushed into Jeffery's side.
Jeffery quickly pushed his leg aside and came around with a swinging chop aimed at his ribs. He could have thought of plenty more "better equipped" moves to use, if he had had the time.

Pyro couldn't help but smile in satisfaction. Although Pyro's attack had been deflected, he had learned alot about his opponent. The boy he was facing wasn't a novice, but he wasn't a complete expert either. The boy had made a good guess at where the attack was going to be, and Pyro had completly surprised him with his attack. Pyro had to applaud the boy's skill for he managed to improvise a pretty decent defence and counter attack. One that Pyro saw comming.
Pyro released all tension in his attacking leg and allowed the boy to deflect it. He allowed his right leg to spin around his body, the momentum drove Pyro off his feet and he fell to the ground, dodging the boy's attack. Pyro dropped and fell on his forearms and down on one knee. His right leg still stayed airborne and came around in another kick aimed at the boys chest.

This fight was starting to go by too fast for Jeffery to begin thinking. He pushed the leg that swung at him, but the force pushed his arms back, in just time he remembered if he would just simply step back out of reach the fight might go on. Jeffery steped back waited only a few seconds the came right back with a stomp aimed at the other Slytherin's calf, as it was the quickest thing to get at. He braced him-self as his foot decended because he knew if he didn't land this his opponents would initiate a counter-attack.

Pyro couldn't help but be surprised when his foot connected with nothing but air. He had figured that his opponent was more skilled than most, but Pyro never expected him to be able to pull off such a dodge. What would be his next move? Pyro mentally reversed the position. He analyzed his own position and what it would look like for his opponent, and what would be the perfect target. What Pyro saw was his own calf, that would be the best target to hit to end the fight.
With a growl Pyro threw himself foreword and than tucked and rolled away. A thump from behind him confirmed his assumption that the boy would have stomped on his calf. Pyro had managed to dodge it by a second or so. He continued his roll and used it to bring him up to his feet. He spun around to face the boy, sliding a few feet back wards on the slick snow. Pyro dropped into a crouch immediately and faced the boy.
A smirk crossed his lips, it had been a long time since he had had this much fun. The smirk grew into a grin which forced a laugh from his throat. Pyro laughed for a few moments before finally calming. He stood straight from his crouch and looked at the boy. "Your pretty good. Better than I would have expected. What form of Martial Arts do you know and how long have you been at it?
