Practice Doesn't Always Make Perfect? (Anyone)

Mikayla walked out to the courtyard it was a beautiful snowy Saturday. Mikayla really needed to find the perfect place to practice some spells she needed to learn before Christmas break. She figured she would go outside in the courtyard by her favorite willow tree. Mikayla was a safe person and she wanted not to endanger people by practicing inside. Mikayla had a hard time with focusing and controlling her particular wand. She never seemed to quite be able to do the things she wanted when she cast a spell.

Thats why she only worked on simple spells like Accio.
Mikayla dreaded to think of the consequences of practicing something like the spell Flamora. "Gosh.." Mikayla said excited to begin working. She always gets an eager type rush when she practiced her spells. Mikayla walked down the stairs and out into the courtyard. When she arrived at her place by the willow tree near a little stream that flowed peacefully, she
whipped out her wand slinging it out of her little holder she made. "Bring it." Mikayla said speaking to her wand. She was ready to get to work. Mikayla smiled and then laughed picturing how ridiculous she must look. She could picture it a hot guy behind her just "thinking dude look at that girl..." "Whats her deal.." Mikayla calmed herself and began by practicing Accio on a leaf. "How could this go wrong?" She said to herself. She began "Accio!" Mikayla said pointing her wand to the leaf. Then amazingly, slowly but surely the leaf began to rise.

As Jessica walked out to the courtyard to finish reading her book she saw a girl about her age making a leaf float and talking to herself at her favorite spot to read. I wounder what she is doing she thought to herself as she walked up to the girl and decided it would be rude to just ask her what she is doing without introducing herself. she was right behind the girl but she didn't seem to notice. so she cleared her throat and said hello my name is Jessica Rose and don't mind me asking but what are you doing? Jessica said as she tucked a piece of her long gold hair behind her ear.

"Oh, I am just practicing some spells." Mikayla replied sweetly. She turned to look at who she was talking to. She observed the girl as she introduced herself as Jessica. "Oh, hi my name is Mikayla Killingraff." Mikayla smiled. Mikayla looked back at her floating leaf, she moved her wand toward the ground, and watched as the leaf went along with it. She smiled as she had done pretty well. "Would you like to join me?" Mikayla asked out of being polite. The girl was older than her, she had really pretty blonde hair, and seemed friendly. Mikayla just smiled waiting for a response.

Alarice walked slowly through the cooridoors on her way to the courtyard. She was rather bored and was hoping to find one of her friends to talk to. She knew that what she should be doing was studying or practicing her charms, but she would put that off untill later. What fun was time out of classes if you work on homework? She breathed in a breath of fresh air as she walked out into the sunshine and almost instantly spotted her friend Mikayla, levitating a leaf with her wand while being observed by another girl she did not know. She decided to go over and say hello.
"Hi Mikayla, good job." She said, indicating with a nod of her head toward the leaf. Then she turned to the other girl. "Hi, I'm Alarice. I dont believe we've met before, but I know your in the same house and year as me." She said with a smile. She was a very friendly, outgoing person and one of her favorite things to do was make new friends.

Just as she was about to answer the girl named Mikayla's question a girl she recognized as Alarice Blackstill. Even tough they were in the same year and house as her they had never really met. No we haven't replied Jessica in a polite manner. I'm Jessica Jessica rose she said with a sweet smile. Oh no thats OK I was just wondering what you were doing. Jessica Said as she turned to the other girl. Looking at Alarice Jessica asked so.... what do you think of the defense against the dark arts teacher? These girls seemed nice enough and she was always up to meeting more people.


I wounder what house Makayla was in Jessica thought to herself she is to nice to be a Slytherin and I cant remember seeing her in the common room ever so I don't think she is in Gryiffindore. She seems to like to work on her studys so she must be a Ravenclaw she finally decided all the while waiting for the girl named Alarice to answer.
