School was back in session, and that meant only one thing. Homework, homework, and more homework. There also seemed to be a large increase in the amount of homework since this year Zara would be doing her O.W.L.s testing. Zara now sat in Gryffindor tower, she had found a open table in the common room and the table was now littered with rolls of parchment and books. Zara rubbed her weary eyes. Her eyes felt heavy, she had been doing homework for the past few hours and it was beginning to take its toll on her stamina. She needed a break, some fresh air. With a sigh she stood up and crammed everything back into her bag. She tossed the bag onto a nearby chair and than left the common room.
The castle was large, but after 5 years of going to Hogwarts she knew her way around without even having to think about it. In no time she was out in the courtyard. The wind blowing through her hair felt great. The stress of the homework was quickly leaving. Zara shut her eyes and continued to walk. She knew t he path by heart and didn't need to open her eyes. She turned at each bend of the path perfectly. She walked on for a few minutes and than opened her eyes, knowing full well that there would be a large oak in front of her. At this time of the day it would be throwing a large shadow onto the path. Zara walked over and sat down against the trunk of the tree.

Elisabeth's head snapped up from the table. How long was I out for? She looked at watch, and noticed that she had only been asleep for 15 minutes. She reached a hand back to her neck, which felt sore from napping on a table. The sun was shining in through the windows, and she decided to take a walk. She hurriedly collected her books and parchment and retrieved her notebook before leaving the common room.
A crisp breeze of fall air hit her as she stepped into the courtyard. She looked around at all the students that were running about, enjoying the beautiful weather. Elisabeth walked down the path, notebook and pencil in hand. The wind brushed against her face, and she stopped just to marvel at the beauty of Hogwarts.
Elisabeth was walking just off the path, under the leafy shade of the trees. She stumbled on a root of an oak tree, and narrowly missed another girl who was sitting against it. "Oh, I'm so sorry. I should've been paying more attention to where i was walking. My name's Elisabeth, do you mind if i join you?"
