Syd was sitting as Kamron put his cloak over her shoulders. With a smile she nodded her head, "Thanks." turning away she took a breath. She started to remember the first time she came up here and how speachless she was. It felt just like home and she knew anytime she should run away from the normal flood of students on the lawns or courtyard ground she woul feel comfortable and safe up hight. Glancing to the ground she thought, 'thank merlin im not afraid of hights!' she smiled at her own thought as she listened to Kamron speak.
"Yes, Winter is beautiful. I absolutly adore it. Even though not many flowers bloom then, I love it." she grinned as she gave him some time to talk.
After Syd dropped a line about the ball, she noticed the astonished look upon Kamron's face. She knew it was a shock but to late, you cant change back time. He went on to say how wonderful it was going to be. "I remember our first Halloween ball. I didnt many people. I didnt stay the whole time." she grined as he went on. "Yeah, I guess." she said as she tightened her grip on his cloak around her as another breeze flew around the two. "Actually, Lined up isnt the word for it. Im not even sure if im going to be asked, in reality." she said as she bit her lip and shrugged it off as good as she could.

He had leaned back to rest on his elbows again, starting to think about how he had to remember this place. He tended to spend a great deal of time in the library, but the cool air and the bright sky sent a flood of memories to him. It would be the perfect place to go when he just wanted to be alone with the stars.
Syd then started to answer about the halloween ball--just admitting that she might not get asked. His immediate reaction was of course she would, it was just early. Of course, his mind tended to wander and he though about how she would be fun to go with...how he would like to go with her.
That thought made him stop for a second, looking over at her again. He wasn't necessarily bold by any means, though he wasn't shy either. He just tended to be a little quiet about thinks.
"I'm sure you'll be asked" He finally replied, thought his mind was still working through his own thoughts about going to the ball with her.
"Actually, why wait" His words were outloud, though more for himself that sydney. "Do you want to go with me?"

Sydney sat with her knees to her chest as she clasped Kam's cloak around her to deflect the rude breeze away from her. With a slight smile as the breeze seemed to pause for a few minutes, Syd looked down at the Courtyard where a few minutes ago her and Kam met up. A few others were still on benches not even aware of her watching them. With a smile she fell into a daze. watching people walk and listening to Kamron speak.
A few seconds passed as she heard the words she wanted Kamron to say. Her face was directed away from him, as she grin a little bit. Wipping the grin away from her face she turned to Kamron. Raising her eyebrows she said. "Go with you?" it came out a bit astonished as she turned her body towards his. "I wanted to go with someone that would have fun with me...." she said as she had no expression on her face. "You understand right?" she said as she bit her lip and lowered Kam's cloak off her shoulders.
Holding it out to him she let him take it. She spoke again. "I did have one specific person in mind to take me." She said as she rubbed her arms to stay warm. Noticing a look upon his face she smiled just like she always did. "Of Course, Kamron! I would go with you. You are the one I wanted to be asked by." She softened her smile as she ran her hand through her red hair. Lowering her hand she said, "Of course if you still want to go with me..?" she said as she stood up.
Balancing herself off Kamron's Knee she walked back to where the stairs were. Sydney motioned with her head as she voiced. "I seriously hope you dont mind, but Im quite cold. Lets start to make our way back to the castle." she said with a grin as she pushed his knee to encourage him to move. Walking over the small metal fence Syd made her way down the stairs.

When she started to answer, he had little expression on his face. He didn't knwo what he would do if she said no. He had never even really thought about asking someone before now. When she said yes, his face was washed with relief and he smiled brightly.
"Of course I still want to go with you, thats not going to change any time soon"
He smiled brightly, watching her get up, he then did as she motioned and went over the fence after her. He coudln't very well resist at this point...she had jsut agreed to go to the ball with him after all.
Once on the other side, the walked along the wall, still headinb back towards the castle. Once they jumped down, he couldn't help but smile as he looked over at her.
"So, do you have a costume yet?" he asked, aware of the fact he walked much closer to her now.

As Kamron smiled they walked down off the stairs, on the wall, and into the court yard. Walking towards the castle with only a few scones outside the enormous building, they walked the aluminated path towards the Stone stairs.
With her crossed at the chest she heard Kamron's question about her costume. "Well I did have an idea. You'd probably think it was stupid of me." she said as blushed, but you couldnt notice it from the redness on her cheeks from being cold.
Turning toward the noth corner of the Castle they neared the stairs. "Plus, Im not going to tell you." She said with a whitty smile. Turning towards him she said. "Is it alright if I meet you at the ball? We both can be in full costume and try to find each other!" Sydney said with a slight laugh as she loved her idea. She hoped he did too.
Turning up the stairs Sydney had a grin on her face. She felt comfortable with Kamron, and this was basically their first conversation. She felt like she knew him for awhile. Finally reaching the Oak Doors, Sydney pushed one open as she stepped into the Main Hallway. "Ah." she said in releif as a gush of warm air flew around her. Turning towards the end of the hall a grand fireplace was lit as it projected heat. "lovely" she said as she turned to Kamron.
"Im glad you came out to the courtyard. Remember Not to tell anyone about the path to the top of the tower, well only if they absolutly adore stars then well it was made for them so Go ahead." she laughed as she looked at him. "Well I'll see you tomorrow Kam." she said as she gave him a hug and turned away. Walking towards the stairs she turned around and said, "Oh Yea, Thanks for your cloak!" She said as she begain to walk up the stairs.

He smiled at her idea of trying to find her at the ball. In truth, he liked to know everything well ahead of time, but he wasn't about to tell her no, so he just nodded.
"I think that sounds great, we will both be suprised" Its not like being suprsied would be bad. He was sure that she would think up a great costume, that just meant that he would have to think up something great as well, and that might be the problem...
She seemed more talkative now, but he didn't mind. He liked it when she talked. When she hugged him, he retuend it happily.
"Any time" he commented, in response to the quote, still smiling as he watched her. managing to call back "Sweet dreams" thought he didn't know why, it just seemed right at the time.
He lingered there for a while, before finally sighing and turning. He had his own room to get back to, and he had potions the next morning.
