Jordan opened her mouth lightly, but closed it quickly as she looked up at Ivy. She smiled faintly, with a sigh.
"Me and Dill, we're just...friends. Though, I wish we could be so much more. But, Dill...Me? No. Couldn't happen." Jordan answered, with a small sad smile.

Ivy looked at Jordan curiously. She didn't know Dillon much at all, to be honest, but still... she had been able to detect in the way that Jordan talked about him a certain... well...
"If you want it to be more why can't it be?" Ivy asked Jordan, hoping that she hadn't made her unhappy by bringing up this subject.

Jordan looked up at Ivy. She was getting that feeling she got when she didn't get what she wanted. Her fingers started to twitch, and she started to trace circles on the ground absent mindedly. Her words were hard to speak, yet they were echoing perfectly in her mind He doesn't like me...
"I..I guess it's because, I don't...know if he....uh...you know, likes me." Jordan answered, her eye ssearching the sky and moon for some help in her spotlight of wonder. What if he did? But, he doesn't. And that was that. Jordan sighed, and popped a bean in her mouth, savoring the hot chocolate flavour.
"At least, I'm pretty sure he doesn't." She added, saying the last part that had been nagging her mind for the longest time now.

Ivy listened to Jordan carefully. She didn't know how Jordan felt about Dillon exactly. 'Wish we could be so much more.' Ivy thought to herself.
"How do you know he doesn't like you? You seem to get on pretty well together," Ivy said. 'As friends', she thought to herself, although she didn't voice it, as she knew Jordan would think that anyway. Well, as friends.
Since she got no reply from Jordan, Ivy voiced the next thought that came into her mind.
"I mean, do you have any reason to think that?" she asked. "There isn't anyone else for him is there?" Ivy didn't like Dillion's twin brother, Payton. But then again, Dillion didn't go around trying to charm everything and everyone that he saw. He was a prankster, like Jordan. Ivy wasn't particularly fond of pranksters (that was the aspect of Katie and Jordan that she didn't particularly like), but she didn't think Dillion was too bad. And why shouldn't it work?
'You don't know him,' she reminded herself. 'Don't just presume stuff.'

Jordan looked at Ivy thoughtfully. No. She didn't have any real reason to think that. Sighing to herself Jordan thought about their Hogsmeade trip and how he had gone to the Three Broomsticks with her, even though he didn't want to.
"I don't know. It's Dillion! Who knows what's going on in his head? His mind never stops working, you can be talking about one thing and he can be thinking something totally different. Maybe I'm too young, or something. I don't know. I like him, yes, but I'm afraid by me liking him it will ruin our relationship." Jordan explained, the best she could.
