Jennifer wrung out her water-drenched hair and wrapped her blue towel around her body. She grabbed her brush from the counter and stroked her wet hair until it was untangled. Stepping into the dorm room, she grabbed up a set of clothes she had setting out for her. Changing into them, she admired herself in the mirror. She carefully applied her black eyeliner thickly to each eye. Placing the top back on it, she stored it in a small zipping case. Brushing and smoothing her hair one more time, she hung the towel on her bed post. Putting on her shoes, she placed her uniform over her regular wear.
Closing the door to the common room, she turned and headed toward the Great Hall. Arriving there, she grabbed up a plate and carefully surveyed the empty tables. Placing a few breakfast items on her plate, she filled up her glass with juice and took a seat.

Rosaliz woke up by the hooting of her owl. "It's Saturday leave me alone" she said while hitting the bird's cage with her hand. Yes it was Saturday. It was the day she loved to sleep in but apparently her bird liked to cease it from happening. She sighed, getting up from her bed and to feed her bird a few treats hoping it would stay quit. She slipped once more under the covers. But she couldn't find any reason to stay laying down. Once again she got up but this time she dressed up into her robes, for that was what she felt most comfortable in. Yawning she made her way out of the dormitory, threw the common room and towards the stairs. Smiling to this she started to go down a couple of steps.
Her stomach grumbled in hunger. She continued to walk and found that she was in the Great hall. For she was shocked of what she had seen. The hall was empty but a fellow gryffindor sitting by her self. How unusual is this? Rosaliz looked at her wrist watched and couldn't believe what she had seen. It was nearly noon. No wonder why her owl was trying to wake her up. the odd thing was she didn't really feel so refreshed from the night's sleep.
Rosaliz made her way towards her house table. She was a friendly person and tried to make friendships along the way. The thing was that sometimes she was shy. But she knew she could handle at least to talk to somebody in her own house. The odd thing was she never seen this girl. Even though she couldn't blame herself, Hogwarts had a lot of students it's not as if she was going to know everyone there. Finally reaching where the girl sat Rosaliz stood next to her. In a clam sweet voice she said "Hi. I'm Rosaliz. Do you mind if I sit with you?" Surely she felt a bit rude but hoped this girl was friendly. After all she was in Gryffindor. Standing there she waited for the girls reply.

Stryder Stalk woke up to the sound of him dorm mates. They were argueing about something Stryder really didn't care about.
"Shut up guys I need sleep."
"You're right Stryder. You need all the beauty sleep you can get with that face."
One of his roommates said. Stryder laughed and threw a pillow at him. According to the sounds after words Stryder had hit the boy and they had decided to finally leave him alone. Stryder slept some more.
The next intruder to Stryder's 'beauty' sleep was Slate, his owl. Slate was taping on the window. Stryder slowly fully awoke and opened the window. Stryder's small black owl flew onto his bed with a letter attached to him. Stryder grabbed it and fed Slate an old owl treat. Slate, realizing it was old sqawked and flew out of the room angerly.
"Sorry I've been meaning to get some new ones." Stryder said as his owl flew away. He opened the letter to find his aunts hand writting.
Dearest Stryder, It has been a while since I've sent you a letter so here it is. I hope your studies are going well and that Gryffindor is winning in the House and Quidditch Cup. Don't worry dear, next year you will make the team, I know it. Well anyways everything here is fine. Your uncle and I are doing well and we can't wait to see you this summer. You really need to start talking to Brigitte more. She sent me a letter saying that you two haven't been talking. Stryder you know how sensitive your cousin gets about things. Please talk to her for me. Another reason I am sending you this letter is to tell you that the MacMillians will be visiting us this summer. I know you will look forward to that. Well hope all is well. Write back Stryder.
Love Aunt Brooke
Stryder shoved the letter into his desk nearby. He started to get dressed realizing that breakfast would stop being served soon. Stupid bloody cousin getting me in trouble. And of course she goes crying to her mom. Stryder didn't mind his cousin that much but she was a girl, a year older then him, and in ravenclaw. Stryder was pleased at first because he wouldn't mind having his cousin set him up with the hott fourth years but to his surprise Brigitte only had two close friends and they were but ugly. Then when she would see Stryder all she would talk about was boys. It drove Stryder insane. He liked his older cousin better. Tom was a sixth year in Hufflepuff and was very popular. He never had time for Stryder though. That's why Stryder had to make his own friends.
Stryder had finished thinking about his family for the day as he entered the common room seeing a couple people he knew. He left in a hurry when he saw "no name girl." A girl that Stryder had met but had forgotten her name and she would follow him everywhere. He hurried down the hallways near the Great Hall. To his relief "no name girl" had dissapeared.
Stryder entered the Great Hall to find it practically empty. He wasnt' that surprised though. It was Saturday and almost lunch time. Everyone was most likely either outside or in the dueling chambers.
Stryder grabbed a muffin while he walked over to two girls sitting at the Gryffindor table. He knew one the girls from class. Her name was Jennifer. Stryder hadn't really talked to her that much. He recognized the other girl but didn't know her at all.
Stryder sat down across from Jennifer considering out of the two he knew her the best, which wasn't at all.
"Lovely day were having wouldn't you say Jennifer?"

Dresden sat in the Ravenclaw common room looking at a book of owls. She had been thinking of getting one for a long time now. Using the schools owls was time consuming. By the time you made it up to the tower, you might as well wait til you went home on vacation.
Flipping the page, she came acrossed a boreal owl."I wouldn't mind onw of those," she said out loud. Next time I go into Hogsmeade, I'm going to go get an owl.
Dresden closed her book and put it in the bag beside her. Getting up from her chair, she looked at her watch; she hadn't eaten yet, and she was getting hungry.
Putting her bag strap over her shoulder, she walked out of the common room and through the maze of halls and stairs. Just as she stepped off one of the staircases, it started to move. Looking behind her, she laughed at the unfortunate person who hadn't made it down in time.
Dresden pushed open the doors to the great hall when she reached them, and looked around. Noone was in there except for three Gryffindors. Recognizing one of them, she went over."Hey Stryder," she said as she waved. "How's your head these days?"

Stryder didn't know Jennifer that well but she was in his house and all of his classes. Stryder was finding out lately that he didn't talk to that many kids in his house. He would just spend most of him time either by himself of with Drew. Drew was popular but Stryder knew that Drew had never really talked to Jennifer before. Stryder smiled waiting for a reply as he studied the younger girl. He had seen her around the Common Room with her friends. He wondered what her name was. Stryder didn't talk to that many kids in other ages, especially not younger than him. He had a few friends older because of his cousins, but other than that his buddies were all his age. He wondered if he was missing out on 'younger' action. The girl though didn't seem that interested in Stryder. Probably because Dresden had joined their table.
"My head's fine but I'm wondering about yours. You no as well as I do that your not supposed to sit at the Gryffindor table."
Stryder knew that that 'rule' wasn't obeyed that much, only when the teachers were preasent and there was an important meal. Stryder found himself sitting at the Ravenclaw a lot to be with his cousin. He wanted to see what Dresden would say though. Knowing her though she wouldn't care and pretend she was a Gryffie if someone asked her.

Dresden gave an exaggerated gasp and put her hand over her heart when Stryder asked why she was at the Gryffindor table. "I can feel my heart shattering into pieces Stryder! I've always been a Gryffindor!" Dresden cocked her head to the side and gave an innocent grin. "Besides, would you really want poor little Dresden Amnell sitting all alone over at the Ravenclaw table, crying her eyes out because she's so alone?"

Stryder couldn't help but laugh at Dresden's reaction. She was a good actress. She could always make Stryder laugh. Stryder was glad he had met her, he didn't know how his life would be now without his fun and crazy ravie. Stryder nodded his head and grabbed a muffin that was sitting nearby. He loved muffins, they were so good. Stryder peeled off the muffin coffe filter, or seat, as he called it, and put it on Dresden's head.
"Well you have to go through initiation before you can truly sit at this table."
Stryder said taking a bit of his muffin as he watched the muffin seat blend in nicely with Dresden's dreads.

((LMAO! A MUFFIN SEAT!))
Dresden watched Stryder grab a muffin. He peeled off the paper part at the bottom and placed it onto her head. Dresden grabbed it off her head and turned it over, placing it where it had been. "Jeese, don't you know how to wear a hat?"
Dresden listened to the talk of initiation. She knew there wasn't an initiation, but she played along anyways. "Initiation, hmm. What does this initiation require, exactly, m'dear?"
