Lenora had forgotten just how much she missed this room these past few weeks. Her hair was pulled back as Lenora danced around the room she had always used to practice in. She wasn’t quite sure what the room had originally been intended for but it had a mirrored wall and a bar across the wall for ballet so that’s what she always used it for – it was more practical than dancing around the bedroom in earnest – she had learned that the hard way a few years back. Music pumped out of the WWN she had set in the corner but after a few hours Lenora was getting too hungry to ignore.
Flicking off her music and shrinking the WWN Lenora put on her white sweatshirt. She threw the WWN in her backpack and carried it out into the hall. Still humming under her breath Lenora found her way into the Great Hall, which was just beginning to fill up for lunch. It was probably about quarter to noon so the tables were packed with sandwiches and other lunch foods. Lenora sighed realising she had missed breakfast, but it couldn’t be that big a deal anyways.
Once she had made it to the Gryffindor table Lenora searched the plate until she found a bagel with ham and Swiss cheese. Daintily picking it up Lenora finally sat down on the bench and poured herself a glass of juice with one hand.

Work work and more work! Thats all Ed's life had become, than again, thats always what Ed's life had been. Ed sat within the Ravenclaw common room, sorrounded by a castle of books. Anyone that looked at him thought he looked extremely absurd. A drafting bench sat in front of him as if it was comming out of the floor, which indeed it was. Transfiguration and charms had always been Ed's specialty. He had manged to transfigure the floor into a drafting bench. He had grinned at his handiwork, that was almost a month ago, now, his workbench had become hell for him. He was constantly lost in a sea of books, and he had only reached phase one of his dreams! The blueprints of the library.
He was constantly diving into a book, studying a certain building, and than attempting to add it into his design, which was trashed and redone many times. "Raaah!" With a primal scream Ed exploded off the bench. He froze in mid outburst as a familiar rumble reached him. "Oh no......" Was all he managed before the castle crumbled in on itself, and Ed. It took many minutes to extract him and his blue prints undamaged. With a resigned sigh he rolled up the parchment and hooked it under his arm. It was time to get out of this room.
Edward left the common room and roamed the halls for a moment. Ed rubbed his eyes, he was tired, and hungry. His stomach growled to show him that he had skipped a few meals, maybe it was time to visit the great hall for a quick bite. Ed entered the hall and noticed breakfast had passed. He glanced around and noticed a familiar face, Lenora. Ed grinned and made his way to her. "Mind if I sit here?" He asked stepping up next to her.

Lenora looked up as she heard someone speak to her. “Ed. Of course I don’t mind, how’s it been? I haven’t seen you in ages.” She said happily placing down the juice jug. “Take a seat, take a seat.” She urged moving her bag off the bench beside her and placing it at her feet. She then gave a beaming smile at the older Ravenclaw, it had been a long time. Why, if she remembered correctly, she hadn’t seem him since they feel into that river in Hogsmead together. Of course, with this being Ed, that probably wasn’t a rare thing for him. The older boy was terribly sweet but also a tad accident-prone. Smart of a Ravenclaw as he was he could get a little absorbed in what he was doing and with his natural clumsiness… well bad things happened.
“Man, I am famished.” Lenora said taking another bite of her sandwich before turning to Ed. “So how have your NEWT preparations been going? I know I am up to my ears in OWLs and they can’t be near as hard… Do you know what you want to do after Hogwarts? Is it intimidating at all, by the way, realising that you will be leaving here so soon?” she chatted away for a moment before taking another drink and looking at him expectantly.

Ed smiled and sat down gratefully. He hadn't seen Lenora for a while. In fact, their last meeting had been last year, right after Ed had passed his apperation test ((We had switched characters at that time, good times )). He had decided to practice and had apperated onto a bridge, directly into Lenora and the two had fallen into the river below. That had actually been there first meeting also. Ed placed his rolled up parchment on the table next to him and listened to Lenora as he scanned the table around him and any nearby tables for anything to eat. Breakfast was over so obviously most of the things had already been eaten. He smiled as he found something at another table. "Oh yes, it has been awhile hasn't it? I've been hanging in there, living day to day you know." He had been fishing around in his pockets while talking and now produced his wand. "Accio Bowl." He said and a empty bowl a few tables away flew through the air at them. The spell had been performed perfectly, the bowl flew directly at him. The only problem was Ed's ability to catch. The bowl skipped off his fingers and flew up to smack against his mouth. "Ow!" He cried as the bowl clattered to the table. He prominently placed his fingers into his mouth and covered the spot where the bowl had hit with his palm. Ed glanced at Lenora and grinned to show he was alright. "Accio milk, Accio Cereal." He said once his hand and mouth recovered and this time the catches were on the mark, except for the cereal which struck his hand and fell over onto the table. "Aye, me too. Haven't eaten myself for a while." He said as he poured himself a bowl and than realized he had forgotten a utensil to eat it with. With a frown he scanned the tables again. "I don't think any amount of preparation will prepare me for the NEWTS." He said shaking his head. "I thought the OWLS had been hard. They don't compare too much against the NEWTS." He spoke the truth. NEWTS were taking up so much of his time he barely had any time to work on his library anymore. "I am both dreaded graduation, and praising it." He said, still looking for a spoon. "For the past seven years Hogwarts has been a part of my life, it was a common thing, a getaway from my family, and now its suddenly ending and I am being thrusted out into the world. But its not all bad, I get to move out of my house. I have been given a flat over a small book store where I work part time." He grinned, "Although once I graduate it will become full time." He gave up his search for a moment and looked at Lenora. "My real dream? I think I want to run my own library." Ed's eyes sparkled with excitement. "It will be a grand building. Any wizards dream. I will go out on a search for old and lost tomes to place in my library, nothing will be out of reach for anyone." He patted the parchment next to him. "Currently I am mapping out my blueprints of the building. What about you? Given any thought as to what your going to do once you graduate?"

Lenora watched in amusement as Ed passed over the lunch things that were out and made a breakfast of cereal using materials for tables all over. The boy always made things harder on himself than need be, as proven by the fact that he knocked himself in the face. When he gave her the signal that he was fine Lenora covered her mouth and laughed, the poor boy. Ed went on with assembling his meal and Lenora took another sip of her juice.
Nodding her head Lenora listened to Ed respond about NEWTs and his plans for after graduation. “Well, I am sure going out into the real world will be scary, and I am glad I will not be obliged to for a few years yet, but it’s great you have a plan. That must be exciting, the prospect of moving out on your own. Man, here we share everything, eh? We share all our space including our rooms, all eat at these huge tables, all relax in the lounge together, even when we go home I know I at least share a lot of the living space with my parents and with Aaron. I cannot imagine being out alone, but then you will have the people from the shop, right? So it won’t be too bad. I would be scared of getting lonely, though. I mean, I don’t always love how busy it is around here, and I miss having my own room all the time, but… I like that there is always someone to talk to, someone to meet.
“I don’t really know what I will do after graduation though. Maybe I will stay with the guys I did my play with last summer, we will be putting another on this one too. Then I can live at home for awhile and be an actress until I am ready to grow up. Heck, I may never grow up.” Lenora said with an impish grin. “Yes, I think that will be my plan. To never grow up.”

Ed smiled as his mind drifted for a moment. He knew it would be scary, now that he had to support his own rent, buy his own food, wash his own clothes(Though the latter was a constant fight with the house elves. Apart from all of this he figured it wouldn't be much different than living in the Summers Manor. He was always alone their, except the times when he was unlucky enough to cross paths with his sisters. Otherwise he was alone, except for Snowflake, he never had anyone to talk to. His mind traveled back to the conversation at hand. "Yes, I do believe it will be scary and hard to get used to. But I don't doubt that will be a better, and more interesting life on my own." Ed winked at Lenora and leaned in close to her and whispered into her ear. "Keep in contact, ok? Who knows, if you send me a request, I may be able to finish a few 'reports' for you classes." He gave another wink and a smile and sat back straight.
Ed arched an eyebrow. "An actress huh?" He winked once more. "Well, I wish you good luck in that. I'll keep my eyes on the TV and keep a lookout for you. I just hope you don't forget about me once you get really big." He smiled and put on a thoughtful pose, even placing his hand on his chin and giving a malicious grin. "There are many advantages to having friendly ties with big stars. Muhahah." He laughed in what he hoped was an evil tone but knew he had missed completely. Ed patted his piece of rolled up parchment. "Besides, I would love to have my library receive a visit from a big star."

Lenora simply nodded as Ed said it would probably be better on his own. One day, hopefully, she would be grown up enough to be on her own. But for now it was still fun to wake Aaron up in the wee hours of the morning by jumping on his bed, and it was nice to come down to a big Sunday brunch her dad had made, yup, Lenora still loved living with her family while not at Hogwarts. She laughed as he winked and then whispered to her about papers. Quite obviously mocking offence Lenora gaped her mouth open as though shocked. “Well I never, and such talk out of a Ravenclaw too. Edward Summers you ought to be ashamed.” She said raising one eyebrow and wagging her finger at him before sticking out her tongue, as though it weren’t obvious enough she was kidding around.
“Well, I don’t know if I will get to be a big star but I will certainly keep in touch. I can even get you tickets whenever I am on stage, though hopefully it will be too often so you won’t be able to make every show, big stars have to work near every night you know.” She said with a wink, “But you can be there, front row whenever you please. And, what the heck, when I have had a particularly good night I will even let you tell the other audience members you know me.” Lenora said with a small laugh.
