"So...?" came the questioning voice of the 5th year Ravenclaw into Kris's ear who rolled his eyes behind his sunglasses: "...SO the potion does not explode into your pretty little face because the boiled Sargus Leaves prevent the exploding reaction to boiling water the Chandre Powder has," Kris finished the explanation of it easily. ((Don't have a clue if this is actually right, but bare with me, Sevvy))
"Interesting. But that still doesn't explain why some nail-polishes start letting out white-ish foam and sizzle before the explode out of the bottle, when you add Coca-Cola to them," Cleo remarked knowingly as she covered her last nail on her right hands little finger with the forest-green nail-polish before screwing the little bottle closer.
Kris opened his mouth to answer only to close it a moment later before smirking lazily: "I must admit that I have never tried to see if nail-polish would blow up or not. A gap in my knowledge I'm afriad. And how does that fit in with our current topic of potions?"
Cleo shrugged and grinned as she leaned her chin on Kris's shoulder as she was currently getting a piggy-back ride from the Slytherin boy: "It doesn't really. Just felt like saying it. Besides it got you speechless for a few seconds."
Kris merely smirked a bit wider as he continued on his way his hands locked behind his back so that Cleo could comfortably lean on them as her legs were wrapped around Kris's waist and Cleo's arms were around his shoulders. How had this came to be? Rather easily actually - having wandered around the grounds for the whole day with Cleo Kris had tolerated her hopping on her back and starting to paint her nails as Kris transported her to the Great Hall. Well had transported as Kris had just stopped in front of the Great Hall doors. Kris bowed his knees a little so Cleo could grab the door handle with her hands as she pulled the doors open so that Kris could step into the room. Cleo steered Kris to the Ravenclaw table and more precisely to the exact spot where she wanted to sit. Kris followed the directions muttered into his ear easily up to the point where he reached the bench. Letting his hands go Kris pried Cleo's legs away from her waist dumping the girl rather unceremoniously off from his back where a clatter of a plate told him that Cleo had landed to sit on the Ravenclaw table rather than the bench at the table.
"Not very nice!" came the indigniate voice from the Ravenclaw firehead as Kris merely arched an eye-brow turning around to face Cleo again as Kris could almost see her scowling at himself.
"Whoever said I'm nice, pharaoh?" Kris asked with a small smirk as he let his head fall backwards a little as he sang out not bothered by he attention he might be getting the least bit: " She's sun and rain, she's fire and ice.
A little crazy but it's nice.
And when she gets mad, you best leave her alone.
'Cause she'll rage just like a river
Then she'll beg you to forgive her.
Oh, she's every woman that I've ever known
She's so New York and then L.A.
And every town along the way.
And she's every place that I've never been.
She's making love on rainy nights.
She's a stroll through christmas lights.
And she's every thing I wanna do again
It needs no explanation
'Cause it all makes perfect sense.
For When it comes down to temptation
she's on both sides of the fence
She's anything but typical
she's so unpredictable
Oh but even at her worst It ain't that bad
She's as real, as real can be
And she's every fantasy
Lord she's every lover that I've ever had
and she's every lover that I've never had." Kris smirked and bent his head enough to drop a quick kiss on the tip of Cleo's nose before turning and striding out of the Great Hall with Dana slinking up to walk next to Kris her eyes laughing as the cousins made their way out of the Great Hall Dana already teasing Kris about his choice of song.

The song belongs to Brook Garth I think, I have no connections to it other than having Kris sing it here.
