Auron slowly walked the halls going back to his common room carrying his bag full of books. As he kept walking he just looked outside and it was raining and he could see lightening far out in the distance. Auron Liked when it rained more then sunny days because the sun when it was fully out bugged him so much. He made it to the common room and saw like always everyone was studying or talking quietly. So he went up to his trunk and opened it, threw in his whole bag then pulled out an old faded book he got from the library. As he headed back down to the common room his cat shadow started to follow him. So instead of staying in the common he left having the door close behind him so she couldn't follow him everywhere.
He could hear the cats head hit the door softly and he made a very small smile. He headed down to the student lounge which was normally empty and when he got there he was the only one there at the time. So Auron toke the chair closest to the windowed so he could watch the lightening hit. He sat there and opened the book at started reading it, but the book is still faded even in the middle of it. It was a great book about a great wizard who fought everything that came his way. He didn't know if the spells were real that he used. Auron tried a few but they didn't seem to work or he just wasn't doing it right. Auron looked up when a shadow came a crossed the floor to see what looked like a girl but all he could make out was the silhouette of a person.

"Star!" Myn whistled sharply, grinning when a sweet, white kitten rolled out from under her bed and pounced at her shoes, looking up adorably when Myn chuckled at the kittens antics. "Maybe Michief would have been a better name for you." Myn teased gently, another quiet giggle forced out by the almost protesting meow from Star. Cats were amazing. They always seemed to know what you wanted, what you were talking about and, occasionally, what you were thinking about. Not to mention that Star seemed to have an uncanny ability to cheer Myn up, no matter what the circumstances. She certainly wouldn't have survived the last few months without her beloved kitten. Even when things had seemed beyond repair and even her friends couldn't cheer her up or make her laugh, Star had been there. Not that her friends hadn't been there for her, of course; Myn would never forget the people who had helped her through her mothers absence. And the worst was still yet to come. Myn suppressed a shudder. The divorce still had to happen, to make the split official. At least there was no sign of a fight over custody. That was a relief.
"Come on, kitten." Myn bent down to grab the kitten and settled her in her arms firmly, planning to play with the kitten in the student lounge. It was generally uncrowded and she hadn't received any complaints about Star chasing after a catnip ball so far. If anyone complained then she would stop playing there; so long as the person had a reasonable answer for why they didn't want her there.Myn stopped in the corrdor for a quick, two minute conversation with a friend before Star started squirming and demanding, with loud and angry mews, that they continue to the lounge for some quality Star time. Myn shrugged apologetically before making her way to the student lounge and looking around in silent satisfaction. There could only be about ten people there and none seemed as though they would be bothered by a kitten and her owner. Though it wasn't really fair to assess that by faces.
A seemingly friendly girl had once screamed at Myn because Star had came too close to her. Huh; some people just didn't like kittens. Idiots. Weren't Gryffindors supposed to be friendly? A small flick of the wrist and the chase was on; Star dashing over the room in an attempt to catch the catnip goodness. Myn winced and sighed when Star narrowly avoided crashing into a chair before smiling at the boy sitting in the chair in apology. "I'm sorry about that. She's a bit...lively. I hope she didn't interrupt your reading...Auron, right?" Myn tilted her head curiously, hovering around the boys chair nervously. She was pretty sure that he was Auron Hughes, another Ravenclaw, but she wasn't exactly sure. Myn didn't really make a habit of annoying the older students unless she had to.

Auron went back to trying to read his book but out of the corner of his eye he could see something running around. It was small so it had to be a cat or some pet around that size. Auron didn't look over but just tried to keep reading till he could see it out the corner of his eye then he looked over. It was a kitten and it was running his way and almost hit his chair. He then looked up at the girl who was walking his way, He guessed this girl must be the kitten’s owner. As she got closer to him he started to recognize her but he couldn't remember her name. She started to say sorry about her kitten and she also seemed to know his name. "Bingo." He said when she said his name, then looked back down at his book trying to think of her name. ” It’s something with an M I thing..." He thought to himself.
"She did interrupt me but I guess it’s alright I’m used to it with the cat I have." He said looking down at the kitten. "You might want to get her a helmet incase it does hit a chair." He said sarcastically. Auron still kept trying to remember her name but couldn't seem to find it in his head. "I'm sorry I don't think I know your name." He said finally giving up on her name.

"Myn Katrenya," Myn smiled gently, green eyes twinkling in supressed amusement as she realised that the boy had no clue as to who she was. "I wasn't actually expecting for you to know my name nor was I expecting for you to care." She arched her eyebrow questioningly, tracking back to his previous comment. "A helmet? Sleet is playful, yes, but I fully assure you that she is not that clumsy. Kittens are playful, Auron, can you expect anything less?" Myn shrugged and crouched down to scratch her kittens ears reassuringly before giving her a gentle push to reassure her that she could resume her playing. Sleet meowed quietly and nudged her head against Myns hand before dashing away to playfully attack her ball once more. Myn grinned slightly and sat in a chair, keeping half of her attention on her kitten and the other half on the boy. It would be rude to completely ignore him, after all.
((Meh, extremely shorter than usual but it can't be helped, I'm afraid. Her very existence is being debated so posts will be shorter until it's sorted out.))
