"Out of my way." Adrian snapped the words at a small Gryffindor angrily, pushing her out of his way and into a door, closing his ears to her cry of protest. His day hadn't been the best, filled with argumentative Gryffindors and pathetic Hufflepuffs. Why did Dumbledore let those idiots into the school anyway? Adrian wondered silently, pushing his way through the crowd and snarling at a foolish student who dared to try to argue with his rough treatment of the students. Adrian admitted that there were a few students in Gryffindor and Hufflepuff who could be considered worthy to converse with a Slytherin but wasn't in the mood to be civil to anyone. Even Slytherins would have to deal with the sharper side of his tongue if they crossed him at this moment. Indeed, Adrian almost wished that he did run into a Slytherin, at least they would fight back if he insulted them.
Adrian opened the door to the Student Lounge with a loud bang, sending a menacing scowl to the students who looked up at his entrance. His temper cooled as they turned back to their friends, dismissing his loud entrance, and Adrian lessened his glare mildly, changing the heat of his glare to a colder, more distant stare as his temper faded away into emptiness. Adrian walked over to one of the darker corners, sitting on a chair and pulling out a book that had entertained him for a few days and flicking through the pages to find where he had stopped reading. Sometimes he acted more like a Ravenclaw, with his love for reading and knowledge, but Adrian was undoubtedly a Slytherin, one of the calmer Slytherins but most definitely possessing the Slytherin attitude.
A shadow passing over his book and distorting the words made Adrian look up with a ferocious glare. Anyone who knew Adrian, however distantly, knew that to disrupt his reading was to offer themselves as a sharpening tool for his cutting remarks and cold glares. The student at the receiving end of his glare merely arched an eyebrow and offered a small smile. Adrian smirked slightly, recognising the boy as a Ravenclaw acquaintance but gestured for him to leave curtly. The boy rolled his eyes but obeyed, knowing that Adrian was more dangerous when reading than any other time. Adrian returned his attention to his book and was soon utterly absorbed in it, only to be disturbed a few minutes later by the creak of the door as someone entered the room.

Nobody was in the the Gryffindor common room. It seemed the whole world was silent in there. " I can't stand the quiet!!" Leah said while flipping her black hair out of her face. Leah was mad at the whole world. " Why did that happen to my dad?" Leah murmred angrily in the corridors. Her dad is an auror and was hurt in Hogsmeade during the attack. She didn't see what happened exactly to dad was when the attack happened. When Leah turned back to see if he was alright, he was on the ground knocked out cold. Leah thinking what made her dad so hurt. That's why she was so angry.Instead of crying she was taking out her pain on everyone. Leah walked in the student lounge. The door made a long slow creak. Leah sat next to a boy in Slytherin that she knew. His name was Adrian. He wasn't much older than her. He was angry too though. " Why are you angry?" Leah said in a low angry quiet voice.
" What year are you in, because you don't look to much older than me." Leah said while gradually slowing down.

Adrian looked up in disbelief as someone sat next to him, knowing even without looking that it wasn't likely to be anyone he knew. People who knew Adrian knew not to bother him when he was reading or if he was scowling. right now he was doing both and some idiot still chose to sit next to him. His brown eyes flicked to the house badge on the girls robes and Adrian sneered almost imperceptibly. Of all the people to bother him, why a Gryffindor? As a whole, Gryffindors were reckless, brash and irritating. Occasionally a few Gryffindors were found who didn't possess the more irritating qualities that their house was famous for but Adrian could immediately tell that he wasn't going to like this girl. For one, she was younger. Not much, only a year, but Adrian despised most of the younger students and often made no secret of it. Secondly, she had sat down without asking and that was just rude and showed a lack of manners.
"I'm angry because irritating pests like you choose to annoy me. And in case your tiny little mind didn't understand that, I'll clarify. Move." Adrian stared at the Gryffindor emotionlessly, a look that he had perfected over the years and usually sent students scrambling over each other in a hurried effort to get away from him. Adrian arched an eyebrow and glared down at the smaller student in exasperation. Hadn't he just told her to leave? And in very clear terms too. Were the younger Gryffindors really so stupid as to not understand that Slytherins were better than them and deserved respect? "I don't see what business it is of yours. If you can come up with a believable reason then perhaps I'll consider telling you. But I doubt that you can come up with a reason that would satisfy me."
Adrian turned his attention back to his book after his curt statement, reckoning that not even a Gryffindors stupidity could mistake his clear dismissal. Sometimes Adrian would be in a good enough mood to humour the Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs and spend some time trying to find the few intelligent members of the two houses. But the utter annoyance that his day had brought him banished any partly-formed thoughts toward this Gryffindor being intelligent. No, she had shown her stupidity when she had interrupted him and only furthered Adrian's belief in her lack of knowledge by asking impertinent and useless questions. It was Adrian's business if he was angry and had nothing to do with anyone else, except perhaps his friends.

Adrian was trying to get Leah to move. " Well , make me!" Leah said while yelling at him. " I don't care if you're a Slytherin and I don't care if your older that me, I'm not moving whether you like it or not." Leah said in a angry tone. Leah crossed her arms. Leah looked at Adrian from the feet down and quickly looked up.Why are Slytherins so mean? It's a mystery. " Why are you having a bad additude all the sudden?" Leah asked while looking up.
Gosh , you can tell he's a Slyth with that attitude. Leah thought about her father and how sad her family was. " Where were you when the Hogsmeade attack happened?" Leah asked in a less angry tone, but still angry. I wonder were all the Gryffs are? Leah thought about how serous her father's condition was.
Leah looked at her gold wrist watch. It read 7:00. Leah looked all around and got very bored. Slowly, everyone began to leave. Soon, they were the only ones left. Wow, I thought time flies fast only when your having fun. Leah looked into the fire which was right in front of them. Leah looked at her watch. 749. Leah was thinking of a pratical joke to do. Got it! Leah jinxed her wand to say 9:06. " Do you have watch?" Leah said in her angry tone. " Mine says 9:06." Leah said while looking in the fire again.

Adrian rolled his eyes as the Gryffindor started to have a temper tantrum and smirked when she said that she wouldn't move unless he made her. "Gryffindor, move before I do make you because I can assure you that you won't like it." His dark eyes hid the simmering temper deep within him but couldn't disguise the pure exasperation as the Gryffindor started to talk to him again. Why wouldn't she get the hint that he wanted to be left alone? Adrian didn't care if she left the room or if she joined a group of her irritating little friends, he just wanted her to be quiet and leave him alone. "I have a bad attitude because of annoying little morons like you insist on bothering me. So if you would desist your actions and go jump in a bonfire, I might be in a better mood." Adrian smirked at the younger girl cruelly, holding no doubt that his remark would cause her to run away, most likely in tears. Idiots were always so emotional about getting told to die, it was yet another annoying thing about them.
"I don't see what business it is of yours where I was during the attacks and, more importantly, I have no obligation nor inclination to inform you of my whereabouts. So, for the final time, move." Adrian arched an eyebrow sharply, hoping that the girl would finally obey his order and leave. Honestly, Gryffindors were so obstinate lately. Why couldn't they have the sense to stick to their own, reckless house mates and leave the vastly superior members of the school alone? Adrian closed his eyes, mostly to calm himself and stop his annoyance but also as a dismissal to the Gryffindor. One more annoying comment, just one and I'm leaving, Adrian promised himself silently before opening his brown eyes wearily at yet another question. At least it was a partly relevant question this time, although she should have learned the spell already.
"If you had attended your classes then you would know the spell and not rely on stupid, muggle items. You may have forgotten but you are a witch, however unfortunate that is for the rest of us. Think like one." Adrian shot the girl a cold, withering glare before closing his eyes again and flicking his wand softly. "Tempus." Smoky numbers appeared in the air and formed the time, 7.53. "Oh, and Gryffindor? Next time you could try jinxing your watch quietly, I could hear you. It was a rather pathetic prank altogether and being able to hear the jinx merely made it worse." Adrian sneered at Leah coldly, still not bothering to open his eyes. Gryffindors were too honourable to hex a person when their eyes were closed and if this one was stupid enough to curse him then Adrian probably knew the counter-spell and a retaliation spell. Still, she couldn't be stupid enough to hex an older student. No one was that stupid unless they knew that the student in question was particularly weak.
