Taire walked into the Student Lounge for what seemed to be the first time all year. She was bored and looking for something to entertain her or even some younger student to tease. She looked around and noticed that the Lounge seemed empty. She wasn’t sure if it was always this unoccupied, but she severely doubted that it was. She was still bored either way.
Solitaire decided to ramble around the room just to see if it had changed since her previous visit. She found that everything seemed unchanged, from the books on the shelves being slightly blanketed with dust to the warm crackling of the fire in the hearth. Taire couldn’t think of a motive for her to have remained absent from the lunge for such a long phase. The only logical explanation she could use was the fact that she was indeed a true outsider, and didn’t want to be around a multitude of people, notwithstanding how many of them were her own age.
Taire decided to spend a diminutive amount of time in the lounge. She could either squander the time away, by staying alone or hope that some younger student would enter the room, and give her a reason to torment them. There was even the possibility that an older student would arrive and give her some one to talk to, if she could prevent herself from being so timid. Taire wasn’t in any type of disposition to care what she found to do, as long as it would end her boredom. She decided to snatch a book off the shelves, and carefully blew the dust off of the cover. She found that the title of the book seemed interesting so she found a comfortable chair by the fire and read while she waited patiently for someone to enter the room.

Konnor woke as cheery as always. She hopped out of her bed, and skipped into the bathroom, to brush her teeth. As she was scrubbing her teeth, Konnor looked in the mirror, her hair was radiant. Her blonde hair was always pretty, but today it was lighter than usual, and had a beautiful wave to it. She smiled, then with her teeth in perfect condition, she ran back to her room, and got dressed. She walked to her dresser, and picked out her long flowy white skirt, a brown tank-top, her short jean jacket, and got some of her bangle bracelets, she had received for Christmas, and she was ready. She put on her clothes, and walked over to her mirror.
She looked good, but she decided to put on a little make up today. She applied some brown mascara, and her light pink lip gloss. She smiled pleased with her appearance, and squandered over to her bed- side- table, and got her bag. She placed in it some clean parchment, a quill, and lastly her library book. She grabbed her prepared bag, and headed down the stairs of her dorm,, and skipped merrily to the Great Hall to grab some breakfast. When Konnor was finished eating, she walked over to the Student Lounge. When she arrived there she saw not only but a couple people. She smiled sweetly, and walked in and took a seat over by the fire. She took her book out of her bag, and began to read.

Solitaire smirked as she saw another girl walk into the lounge. She could tell that the girl was a little older than her, but that didn't bother Taire at all. She was in one of those moods where she only felt like being polite to the Slytherins. She hated that she had been sorted into a house that was expected to be everyone's best friend. Maybe this was a chance to tease or taunt someone, never mind her being older than Taire.
Taire wondered what would be the best way to tease the young girl. The girl looked so perfect that it would be a shame if anything were to happen to her looks. The thought of the girl's looks made Taire feel a bit better, and gave her an idea. The girl also seemed to be in a very good mood. Taire wondered what would be the best approach, to talk to the girl first or to just sit back and begin taunting her. Taire liked taunting people but she would give the girl a chance first, and then if the girl seemed too nice for Taire, then maybe she would taunt her a bit for being so nice. Taire couldn't stand people that were extremely nice. They made her sick at her stomach. What was there to be nice about? Everywhere a person turned there was something horrible happening to the wizarding world. Taire was different in the fact that she thought everything bad that happened to someone was deserved.
Taire decided to walk over to the girl, and see what her attitude would be. " Hi, what brings you in here?" Taire said smugly.

Konnor fidgeted a little. When she was still for too long she often would do that. Konnor looked up from her book as she saw someone approaching her from the corner of her eye. "Hey.." Konnor said looking up to see a girl she had known to be Solitaire Keighley. She was nervous. She had heard that this girl had always wanted to be in Slytherin and not Hufflepuff. Konnor slightly smiled and answered.. "I'm just reading." Konnor said emotionless. She hated being around mean people. She didn't know what this girl was like for sure, for she hadn't taken the time to talk with her.
"What brings you here?" She asked turning to the next page in her book. She kept on reading while waiting for the girl to give her an answer.
(Sorry so tired, and uninspired just got back yesterday from VaCaTiOn.. lol)

Solitaire smirked at the slight attitude given by the girl. It meant that she knew of Taire's own attitude and how it tended to be more than others cared to handle. "I haven't been in here in so long I thought there might be something to do, I guess I was wrong." Taire said being shockingly nice. Taire wanted to give the girl a chance, she needed more than the one friend she had.
((sorry it's short. I understand. I haven't had much inspiration for Taire either))

"Oh, yeah, I know what you mean.." "You would think that their might would be more to do in here, considering this is the Student Lounge.." It seems lacking in drama or something." Konnor smiled sweetly this girl wasn't so bad. She couldn't see how people could say things like she is rude, when they must not have taken the time to actually carry on a converstion with her. "It is however a good place to read." Konnor said laughing, she always read, or studied in the Student Lounge.
