Jessica woke up early on Sunday morning sweating and scared. She had just had another dream about her mom and dad getting in the car crash and not ever seeing them again. She decided she should get up take a shower and try to forget about it. even though she was little when her parents got in the car crash she still remembered it like yesterday. As she was getting up and walking to the bathroom to take a shower she saw that the sun was just coming up. By the time she was out of the shower and dressed the sun was already up and some of the girls were awake. Jessica decided to take a brake from studying which she did all week long and go hang out in the student lounge. As she walked out of the common room she picked up her favorite muggle book the eldest. When she got to the student lounge she sat down in a comfortable couch and started to read her book.

Konnor woke up cheery and happy. She hopped out of bed, and ran to the bathroom, and took a quick shower, and brushed her teeth. When she was clean and dry, Konnor exited the bathroom, so she could go get dressed. The girls were already gone. Konnor didn't blame them. It was too beautiful outside for anyone to be sleeping in. Konnor had just stayed awake late doing some homework. She smiled and skipped over to her dresser. She opened her drawers and got out to white matching socks, and a nice cotton creme colored sweater. She ran over to the closet and grabbed her jeans, robe, brown scarf, and matching gloves. She got dressed, and slipped on some creme colored flats. Konnor looked stunning. She smiled at her reflection in the mirror.
She walked over to the mirror sat and applied her make-up. She put on her lip gloss, mascara, brown eye shadow and eye liner. Her make up was done, now she needed to clean up around her room. She made her bed. Picked up her floor, and closed her closet doors. She pranced merrily back to her bed, and got her bag. She opened her bedroom door, and walked down the stairs, and passed the common room. Out into the Great Hall. She ate some breakfast, and grabbed a mug of coffee, and she headed to the Student Lounge to catch up on some reading. She arrived and saw quite a few people. She headed over to the small table sitting on the rug, that was close to the fire. She got a pillow from the couch, and sat down situating herself with her book and coffee on the table. She smiled as the warmth of the fire, and her hot coffee warmed her. She opened her book and began to read.

After a while of reading Jessica got bored and looked around the room hoping to see a familiar face but saw none. So instead of reading she decide to braid her long blonde hair hoping someone would come and talk to her because she was to shy to start a conversation with someone she didn't now.

Konnor noticed as everyone in the room had their little cliques, or group of friends. Konnor fidgeted a little. She felt a little lonely, and none of her friends were there. She looked around for some one she knew. Finally, she she looked back over at the girl she had seen reading by herself. Konnor picked up her coffee and book and walked over to her. "Hey, my name is Konnor." "Whats that you are reading?" Konnor sat down on the other side of the girl. "I hope I'm not freaking her out!" Konnor thought to herself. "Sorry, if I'm intruding on anything.." Konnor said apologetically. "I'm just a curious person at heart and like to know things.." Konnor said regretting that she had said that right after she did.
Konnor looked around. No one knew was really coming in the room. She saw some Slytherins, and few Ravens, and of course some Gryffies, but none she knew. This girl looked much nicer anyway. Konnor was always up for helping some one out, or meeting some one knew. Konnor quickly got her head out of the clouds and looked back at the girl waiting for a response.

Reluctantly Jessica went back to reading her book when she recognized no one but before she even got half way down the page a girl about her age interrupted her. Thankfully to have something other than reading to do she looked up putting on her politest face as the girl asked what she was reading. Oh just a muggle book called the eldest Jessica replied to the girl who looked kind of uncomfortable just standing there. Do you want to join me Jessica asked. At least i wont have to read this dumb book anymore Jessica thought as she tucked a piece of her beautiful long blonde her behind her ear to herself and this girl looks kind of interesting. Oh and don't worry your not intruding actually I'm kind of relived to have someone to talk to hating the words even before they came out.

"Oh, I have heard of that book before." Konnor sad searching her mind for that title. "It sounds oldly familliar." Konnor said smiling. She looked down at her coffee. It looked so good. She took a sip. Satisfied, she looked back over at the girl and asked some more questions. "So how have you been liking Hogwarts.. Uhh.." Konnor then realized she hadn't gotten the girls name. "I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name.." Konnor commented politely. (Sorry it is very short.. my writers block is coming back.. lol  ) |

Konner asked Jessica a few more questions and than realized that this girl didn't now her name yet as if reading her mind konnor asked what her name was. Oh me name is Jessica Jessica rose she said proudly. I just love hogworts it gives me a brake from my constantly nagging aunt. Jessica your never going to get any were if you don't study, Jessica your going to be a slob when you get older if you don't learn to clean your room mimed Jessica. It can get really old really fast!! (sorry that its lame the next one will be better!  |

Konnor laughed at Jessica's imitation of her aunt. That reminded her of her twin sister Kelley. Kelley was in Ravenclaw. She was always nagging Konnor to study, or do her homework. Konnor couldn't help it if she was the kind of person who doesn't do her homework three weeks before its due. Konnor had never been that way and wasn't about to start. Konnor smiled. "Yeah, I know how that can feel." Konnor began. "My twin sister Kelley a Ravenclaw fifth year, so she nags me alot to get my work done, or to study, and such." "She has always been an over achiever though.." "Do you live with your aunt?" Konnor asked curiously. "Oh, sorry thats probably none of my busness.." Konnor apologized nervously taking a sip of her coffee. "I love this place.." Konnor said dreamily, looking around the room." Konnor always loved Hogwarts. Ever since she was a hyper and peppy little first year. She was so eager, and excited to learn more about her gift.

Jessica listened as konnor told her about her twin sister that was in ravenclaw and realized that this girl hadn't asked her the most oblivious question that everyone she met seemed to ask Why was she living with her aunt and not her parents. She was actually kind of glad that she didn't. It got tiering after a while telling everyone why you live with you aunt and that your parents died in a car crash. pulling her head out of the clouds Jessica looked at Konner asked her if she lived with her aunt and then seemed a little embarrassed that she asked. No no its ok ya i do live with my aunt. My parents died in a car crash when i was little.

"Oh.. I'm so sorry.." Konnor looked down at the floor. She punished herself for even asking the question now. Even though the Jessica said it was ok it didn't feel ok for Konnor. Konnor looked back up and tried to change the subject. "So.. You like being a Hufflepuff?" Konnor asked randomly. "I think the sorting hat was perfectly correct when it placed me in Hufflepuff." Konnor said pleased. She smiled at Jessica and took a sip of her coffee. Konnor grabbed for her bag, and got out her parchment notebook out, and her quill. She placed the notebook in her lap, and doodled a bit while she waited for a reply from Jessica.

After Jessica replied to Konors question Konnor seemed upset that she asked. It is seriously OK I am totally over it now. Jessica said having in no way intension of telling her about the dreams she has. She saw konnor quickly trying to change the subject and was relived when she did. The question Konnor asked her though made her fall into a fit of giggles. Konnor thought she was in hufflepuff after stopping the giggles because of the strange look she was given she said I am not in Hufflepuff I am in Gryffindor and then she started to giggle again. She did not now why it was so funny it just was. Jessica began to relax around the girl named Konner and enjoy herself.
