It was quiet in the student lounge. In fact, it was so quiet, that Emily had fallen asleep on the couch. A blue book laid on her chest, rising and falling with her breathing. It had been a long day for the Gryffindor sixth year. Not only did she have a potions essay due, but Vector had run them through the ringer today. Ancient Runes really wasn't her thing, but she needed the class for her future profession. Curse Breaking required a good understanding of charms, ancient runes, and a myriad of other things.
Turning over in her sleep, her back was now turned towards the large fireplace. Emily snuggled her face into a large pillow and drifted off farther in her dreamland.

Pyro yawned lazily as he moved down the hallway. He had finally finished all his homework for the next week. It was time to lay low and relax. He had already tried the courtyard, but that place was crawling with low lifes. The library was a no go and not a single hallway was clear.
Pyro had lost count but he could easily guess that with so many students out an about. The Lounge should be very empty. So it was that he now stepped into the lounge, noting with satisfaction that the place was indeed nearly deserted. He also noted that it looked like the couch in front of the fireplace was empty. Finally, something was going right today.
Pyro approached the couch and notice that someone was actually using it. He frowned as he looked at the girl sleeping there. She looked like a Gryffie, and looked to be a few years older than him. He didn't care that she was older, but he did care that she was in his spot. He clapped his hands. "Hey! You have a common room for sleeping you know? Get off the couch so others can use it."

Cass walked to the student lounge in a bit of a hurry. She had once again left her bookbag in a place where she shouldn't, and she just hoped that it was still there when she returned. Opening the door to the student lounge, she ignored everyone around. She soon found her hand around the black handle of her bag. Turning around, she saw her cousin standing over an older Gryffindor laying on a couch. Anger washed over her as she saw the two. She was still angry at her cousin over what was said at the funeral about Liam, but she just couldn't ignore him. That would be rude.
" Hey, Pyro. Emily," She smiled down at the older Gryffindor who had just rolled over to stare at the two Blackfires. " So, is my cousin bothering you, Em? Or is he just being himself?"

Rolling over on her side, she looked up at eyed the two Blackfires. She had actually ignored Pyro's comment earlier, and now only acknowledged his presence because his cousin was there. Yawning, she stretched out on the couch. " Do you mind? Didn't you notice I was napping?" Sitting up slowly, she tucked her legs underneath herself and placed her head in her hand. " So, this is your cousin, Cass? Wow, I expected him to be...taller." She bit her lip to keep in her laugh. It was always fun to bother Slytherins.
" So, what are you two doing out?" Picking up her wand, she lazily summoned a chess board from the other part of the room. " So, any of you up for a game of wizard chess? I tried to find some takers in the common room, but only Neville Longbottom jumped on the offer." Emily rolled her eyes, " I played him before. He is pretty shoddy at it."
