Melinda woke up quite early she had a wonderful day planned out. She slipped quietly out of bed, so she would not wake the other girls. After she dressed, she tip toed out of the room. When Melinda finally reached the student lounge, she found a comfortable spot by the window and opened her book. This particular book was Melinda's favorite romance story that , involved a prince, a fair maiden, and oddly enough a fight with an ogre.

Konnor woke up right on time. She was in her usual happy go lucky mood. She ran to her window flung open her curtains letting the sun shine through to their room. She didn't care, those girls shouldn't stay in sleeping on such a beautiful Sunday. She had taken a shower last night so she just needed to brush her teeth, get dressed, get her bag together, put on her lip-gloss. So she did those very things in that order. First she, ran to the bathroom and brushed her sparkly white teeth, she loved to maintain her beautiful shiny white smile. After that she, picked out her clothing. She got dressed in a flowy pink shirt, cute holy jeans, snow-bunny boots, and put on her robe after.
She made sure she had parchment and quill in her bag. Konnor walked over to her pink mirror and put on her light pink lip gloss, smiled at herself and left to the Student Lounge. She walked Hogwarts heading for the Student Lounge. When she arrived she didn't see too many people. Smiling and greeting some people as she walked by she noticed a girl. She was younger than her. She was reading a book and seemed quite into it. Konnor walked over to the girl. "What are you reading?" Konnor said politely not to interfere.

Melinda jumped, she was not expecting anyone to speak to her. She looked at the girl who had asked the question. She was older, and dressed in clothes that Melinda thought were absolutely adorable.
" Oh, just a romance novel, you know the typical fairy tale" she told the girl. "By the way my name is Melinda, whats yours?" she asked.

"Oh, I love romance novels..." "But they are very sad." Konnor then replied. "Oh, sorry my name is Konnor Ortiz I'm a Hufflepuff fifth year." "And nice to meet you." Konnor was kind of fidgeting standing their for a moment, she didn't like staying still. So she just sat down beside the girl. Hoping, she wouldn't be bugging her or anything. "I just finished my series on Nancy Drew." "Now I'm reading a book I got from this library on potions, and transfiguration." Konnor looked over at the fire burning in the fire place. There was a magnificent warmth coming from it. Konnor smiled. She loved when it was cold outside, but you could sit by a quaint little fire and get warm inside.

"Yes, sometimes romance novels are really sad, because it seems that someone always has to die." Melinda replied. "Its very nice to meet you too, I am in Hufflepuff to!" Melinda said enthusiastically. She was very happy to have met some one from her own house.
"So you like Nancy Drew, huh?, Me too, it is one of my favorite series, although I haven't read them all."
"So is fifth year difficult?" she asked Konnor. " What subjects are you taking?" Not wanting to be annoying Melinda stopped her questioning and waited for her to answer.
