Emma sat in her bed, blinded by the light shining at her through the curtains. What had happened? Then she remembered. The Duel! OF course!
She had been dueling Francis Drake when he had struck her with a small spell, which threw her into a wall. from then on she remembered nothing. but her she was in a hospital bed! She looked around her nervously. Her owl, Armani, would soon need 'comfort time'.

Gerek hearing the news quickly rushed to the hospital wing. He flung open the doors. He looked at all the injured people untill he came to Emma. He rushed over to the side of her bed. "Hey." He said panting. "Are you alright?" He had ran all the way from the quidditch pitch to the Hospital Wing only stopping once. He had stopped because Peeves was dropping water ballons at him and he had to hide inside a storage room.

Emma looked up to see Gerek rushing towards her. She smiled happily, pleased he had come.
"Oh, me? I'm fine, just a bit bruised. Francis Goodford and i had a little duel, and i think he won!" She chuckled a little at this, though the memory brought her to wince too. "Did you come here just for me?" Emma felt the heat rising up her neck, and pulled the hostpital wing covers higher to conceal it. She wasn't used to boys being nice to her. Her six brothers were the only boys she usually talked to, and they left stinkbombs in her bed, so they didn't count.

Minerva McGonagall walked down the Hogwarts hallways a a brisk pace. It had een very busy lately. Students duelling was of no help. They should already know better than to be involved in such foolishness. Practice was good, but one should practice duelling under keen watch. Professor Amaryllis Hardy always supervized duels and there hadn’t been any problems what so ever concerning duels. Duelling outside Amaryllises classroom however was prohibited. Minerva nodded to a passing ghost in greeting and stepped into the Hospital Wing.
Sharp eyes scanned the the Hospital Wing finding the necessary student immidiately. Making her way over Minerva cleared her throat to catch the attention of the girl and the boy who had obviously came to see her. They were both first years as Minerva knew, but that didn’t excuse such behavior! „Ms. Blake, I hope you do know that all unauthorized duelling outside duelling classroom is stricktly forbidden in Hogwarts! You have been enrolled as a first year, so this rules applies for you too. We have not found the person you have duelled with, but after the Sorting Ceremony 10 points will be taken from your house. No detention will be issued THIS time, but I sincerely wish you think about your actions and the consequences of them,“ Minerva told the girl with her lips drawn to a tight line. Duelling just to proove who was better was foolish. And even though she would never admit it out loud, Minerva hoped that she hadn’t just taken points from Gryffindor as she turned and left the Hospital Wing once again.

"Well ya I came just to see you." Gerek said grinning. "Not everyday my friends end up in the hospital wing." "Good thing nothings serious." Gerek said. "I stopped by Hogmeade today and got some candy and chocolate." he said grinning remembering the food fight Emma and him had. "You want a chocolate frog?" he asked brandishing a chocolate frog out of his robes. Suddenly the doors opened revealing Professor Mcgonagall. She walked over to the bed and lectured her on not doing duels without supervision. Emma had lost 10 points for her house. Not much but knowing Emma she would probably get them back and more.

"Emma!" Mariza called, running into the hospital wing.
"I just heard, Pandora told me...oh hello Gerek," she said politly looking happily at Gerek.
"I can't believed you duelled, McGonagall is furious, I can't believe you!" she said not sounding half as angry as she felt.

Emma grinned and accepted the Chocolate Frog from Gerek. Her favourite! Before she could take a bit Proffesor McGonagall came over, took ten house points off her and stode away. After she had gone, Emma sat there- then burst out laughing.
"Hahaha! That was funny. Worth the loss, seeing McGonagall then!" Emma chuckled once more, then looked up as Mariza walked into the room.
"Oh..hi Mariza." Trying to hide her disappointment, Emma waved. She was hoping to spend some time alone with Gerek. "I'm not hurt, don't worry. And Pandora told you? Wow! Didn't think she cared!"

"Well, she does and I would love to spend time with you guys but I've got to go, terible sorry!" Mariza said, she had to go down to the library and give back a book before she got told off my Madam Pince.
"Madam Pince is evil!" she added. She hugged Gerek warmly and waved at Emma as she left the hospital wing.

Emma waved to Mariza as she left, a little sad that she didn't get a hug. "Gerek, you don't have to stay you know."

Gerek accepted the hug smiling. That was new he thought. Gerek had never gotten a hug from Mariza. Then Mariza left. THen Emma said i could goo with her if I wanted. Gerek felt really bad. HE was like in the middle of the two. Nah! Ill stay. "she'll problly come back later." he said flashing a grin.

Emma smiled slowly as Gerek said he would stay. She nibbled the head off of her chocolate frog, loving the taste. "Mmm, why is it that chocolate frogs taste so much better than just chocolate?" She murmered as she ate.

Humm... " I don't know." Gerek said to the funny question. Gerek also took a choclate frog out and took a bite off its head. "Umm!" It was really good.

Giggling as Gerek shared her view on the frogs, Emma asked him about lessons.
"Which one's do you think you'll like best then Gerek? I bet one's charms!" Emma remembered with a smile how Gerek had acted with his spells in Catalina's Cubby earlier.

Gerek laughed. "Ya!" "That and Defense Against the Dark Arts are probably going to be my favorite. Gerek laughed. She had most likely saw him use his charms spells in Hogmeade and assumed that I like that. It was a good assumption. He smiled and said " What our your favorite?"

Emma thought for a moment, and then said, "Definatley quidditch. Charms i like too, but im quite forgetful, so i don't remember spells much! And..." She paused. "Defense against the Dark arts i think-or transfiguration. They come third together i think."
She took a deep breath, then checked her arm, noticing how the bruising had gone down quickly.
"So, how do you like Mariza?"

"Oh she's great." I really like her." Gerek answered. "Do you?" he asked adding quickly "As a friend?" he said laughing.
Emma was really nice but Gerek really like Mariza. She made his inside turn and feel like they had never felt before. He knew that he liked Mariza probably them most out of all the students he had met.
