Darling Kori,
I am writing you this letter when you are the age of four, for a reason that I perfer not to discuss in this letter. If you recieve this letter on your 16th birthday, you should be well aware of the reason, if not- then I am home with you in my arms and helping you pick out decorations for the party. Oh, how I wish I could be there with you right now, though in some ways I am with you and I feel you know that. I am always with you Kori. I'm in the air around you and I am that breeze that flies by you, lifting your hair and making you look even more gorgeous than you already are. I am sure you're a beautiful young lady, and I am sad to have missed it.
My darling daughter, I want you to know that I love you very much and that each moment the clock ticks by and each time my heart slows, I am thinking about you and how you have made my life so full of joy. Darling Kori, no matter what anyone says to you- you are an intelligent and powerful being and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Follow your father's guidance and listen to his advice- he's a good and smart man, even if he doesn't know how to make the greatest pancakes alive.
Attached to this letter is a locket. On the locket is a little rose. My mother gave it to me on my 16th birthday and told me whenever I needed her, to rub the locket and she would be there. I'm telling you the same Kori. No matter where you are, or where I am; I will be there for you. I love you, Korissa Williams. Don't forget that...
Love You Always,
