Mackenzie,
It has come to our attention that you are having a "thing" with a Ravenclaw. And as we might not care about you at the moment, we would like to keep our name in tact. Where as you are still our daughter, you wicked child, you must do as we say.
You must obey us. And you must understand that what you do still affects us. We are ordering you to cease and disist all communication with this, half blood, and continue to not exist in the world. Even though, we might not consider you part of our family; others still see a Holden in your name.

Mr. and Mrs. Holden,
And once again, what you have heard is false. I have no doubt that your source of information was none other than the infamous Dixie Anne. Please, feel free to believe her because anything I do that makes you angry is okay in my book. But, let me make something clear. Tristan Wardle may love me, but I feel little feelings toward him.
Seeing as, he is a Ravenclaw and we have nothing in common. It was just a simple night in the Courtyard that seemed to have gotten carried away. And all those other times, that time at the lake, I realised that I shouldn't be doing what I was. So my mind was settled and I broke it off, whatever it was. So, dear parents, you may continue to shun me but it won't do you one ounce of good.

Mackenzie,
Even if that be true, we still can not accept your form of apology. You have ruined the Holden name sake for generations to come, and although your sister may be able to restore it, I doubt anything good can fix your...shall we say....mistake.
Mackenzie, you have shown us how rebellious you can be. And how outrageous you are willing to go. Which is why we are sending you to live with you Aunt in Ireland. You will still attend Hogwarts, but your Aunt Gine is a respected witch, and she will teach you how a Holden should and will act.
Your parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Holden,
I am sorry for any inconvenience, but I must make something quite clear to you. My last letter was in no way an apology. I was simply clearing something that had been falsely accused. I am sorry if you are too simple minded to believe that those words were an apology of something I shouldn't apologise for.
Sending me to live with Auntie G. is quite fine with me. Anywhere besides your house is fine with me. Auntie G and I get along well enough, and I am sure that no hell or war will break loose if I stay with her. She is getting quite old and may need my help around the house, which I am willing to give. Please; send me my train tickets and luggage (that of which you haven't thrown out) and don't expect me to call.

Mackenzie,
That stunt you pulled for the New York vacation, is extremely unacceptable. You do not, I repeat, DO NOT ever do that again! Do you understand me?! We were already quite upset with you as it was, and then you had to show up with a friend. A Rendel no less! Mackenzie, you could have let your Aunt Mel know ahead of time about your visitor, I expect she was just as upset with you as we are.
Each time you do something so vile as this, Mackenzie, we have to lap it up and make excuses for your behaviour. With our luck, someone of importance was at the station and saw us! What I said to you that day, still stands Mackenzie. Don't you ever, EVER, pull something like this again, or you will dread the next day. You know what kind of power I have over you, you know what I am capable of doing, and yet you still act out. What is this? Some form of punishment for being your father? For giving life to you?! It's unacceptable Mackenzie!!

Mr. and Mrs. Holden,
And once again, you and I have got our wires crossed. We really must stop doing this, it's tiring me out. Aunt Melanie did infact know that I was bringing Jack with me to New York. I asked her ahead of time, just in case she would disapprove. I didn't think there would be any reason as for me asking you two because you weren't the ones supervising this trip. As to him being a Rendel, I don't see anything wrong with that. And believe me, my judgement is better than yours shall ever be. You look at the name of a person, and judge them by that. I, however, get to know the person before doing anything. Before judging them. Maybe you should learn a few things from me as well as I should start to pay attention to you, not likely.
I haven't done anything vile, as you so kindly put it. I am merely just being me, someone I haven't been allowed to be in quite awhile because I have been chained to what you call your "needs" and "demands." My heart had been chained to the floor, and I thought life was for only one thing, and that was surfacing your wants. Believe me, I am stronger now. And I will revolt and I will live for me. And for me only. I am no longer your property and you will realise that you are seriously mistaken if you think I am going to crawl back to you on hands and knees, begging for a place in the Holden sake once more. Because that isn't going to happen.
I would like to see you stop me if I do something as ill-advised as this, ever again. You have no control over me, no more, no longer. I am my own person and I shall forever be my own person. No more will someone use me like a doormat. Because I will fight back. And I will succeed.

Mackenzie,
Watch what you say. You never know what may happen. I'd keep an eye out if I were you.

Mr. Holden,
Did you just threaten me? Excuse me, sir, but I do NOT take threats kindly. It is best if you are the one who watches their back, because YOU are the one who will need to be protected. No more will your words and intimidation techniques frighten me. I know my place, and I will keep it their, with or withOUT your help.

Father,
I would like to know one thing, and one thing alone. Why is it that I am treated as someone who isn't part of the Holden line? Did I do something as a child that caused you to be extremely embarrased of me or something of the sort? Please let me know, I am fairly stressed over this. I can't sleep at night knowing that my family doesn't consider me part of the family. If it be because of the Ravenclaw issue, I will let you know now- that I am not the only one who has kissed someone out of Slytherin in this family. Dix has kissed a Hufflepuff. The lowest of the low.
If there is another reason as to why I am indeed treated like a, dare I say, Hanner; then I would like to know it. If you are punishing me for something mother or Dix did, then I don't see that fair. Let me tell you one thing though, father, I will not stand to be treated as if I do not exist because of something I did not do.
