Hello. You probably don't know me, but I have heard about you. You're my brother, Jack. A long lost brother. I'm Padme Rendel, and if you're confused I'll tell you sometime later. Right now, I just want to meet you and tell you how our mother is doing, as I'm sure you are wondering. Well, Tessa is doing well; she's married to a different man and I'm her only daughter. She's going to work and is getting paid a good wage. I do hope you remember her. Anyway, enough about mother. I want to know you. How about we meet up in Diagon Alley? You can bring some friends if you wish. And, you could help me with my school shopping as I am starting next year.

You're my sister?! That can't be right. It must be a different Rendel. We must have the same surname. But.... that wouldn't work for Tessa, would it? You must be..but how? I know you said that you will tell me later, but could you tell me now? As for Tessa being married, why? Who? So many questions. I will go to Diagon Alley with you, since I must know my sister. I have a few friends that you might want to meet. I'm still not going to believe you until I see you. This is absurd! I can't have a sister!

Please tell me you aren't always this dim-witted. If you are, I'm ashamed that you're my brother. Meeting you in Diagon Alley was fun, I must admit, mostly about meeting that Mack girl. I love to bicker, as you must have noticed, and she was a good practise for others I will meet at school. I do hope you are enjoying this letters I'm sending you, because I am going to keep writing to you until I get to school, and then I can see you every day! How about that, eh? I know you must enjoy it. So, what's Hogwarts like? Who are the people like me? Who might be good people for me to meet? Tell me everything.
