Hey Chica,

How's it going? Not so good here. Math and history is really kicking my butt, but I'll manage. I really miss you and Meghan. I've been lucky to make really good friends here though. Dana and I, the girl you met at the hospital, went to town and hit the stores. I got some really neat stuff there. I hope to see you both when I get home. I will be sending part of the summer with Dana in Italy. I know. Italy. How posh! I'm so excited to be going. I never thought mother would agree since she has been pushing me to come home since Dad died.

Sucks to hear about school. It's been going pretty well for me. I won some sort of science award this year for my project on cells. So, I have another trophy to add to the group that is collecting dust on my shelf at home. I did see your mom the other day. She seemed really wierd. She kept mentioning something about an owl. When did you get an owl? I swear, you've been getting really wierd over the past three years. You've just been holding back so much. Meghan and I hardly know you anymore. Please, keep in touch, and know that you can tell us anything.

That is really cool about Italy! I'm so jealous. Dana seemed really cool when we met her in Birmingham.
