Konnor woke a little early this morning. She rubbed as she tried to adjust her eyes to the morning sun. It was chilly in her room. She hopped out of her bed, and walked over to the window. She slightly opened the curtains, just to see what it looked like outside. It was snowing a little. Konnor stood there a minute, watching as snow flakes fall to the ground. She moved away from the window, and went to the bathroom to take a shower. When she was done drying off in the bathroom, she grabbed her tooth brush, and brushed her teeth. She loved to groom herself properly, and look nice. She smiled at her reflection in the bathroom mirror. She decided to go back to her room, and change considering she was only wearing a towel.
She dug through her drawers searching for the perfect outfit. As she looked through her top drawer, she took out two white matching socks. She walked to the closet, quietly as to not wake the others, and grabbed her cutest jeans. She got her robe, brown scarf, and matching gloves. She walked back over to her drawers, and got out her cute pink shirt with built in light pink tank- top. She put on her clothes all except scarf, her robe, and gloves. She walked to her bedroom mirror, and brushed her long blonde hair, she let it flow loosely over her shoulders. She then applied some glossy pink lip balm to her cute pink lips.
Pleased with her appearance she walked over to where she had sat her bag neatly on her bed. She set her bag on the floor, and fixed her bed. She liked to keep her room as orderly as possible. She picked her bag up and, placed her book she had checked out of the library on potions in it. Konnor also put some parchment and quill in the cute pink bag with the Hufflepuff crest. She grabbed her bag, and headed for Hogsmeade Christmas was over, and her, and her old friend from home Jamison were meeting for lunch. She skipped over to the door, closing it quietly, and she was on her way. Seconds later she was outside in the snow on her way to Hogsmeade. She saw some people on the way there but she didn't particularly recognize them. She sat down at an outside table at the Whisper Cafe in Hogsmeade, and started reading her book. Jamison was usually late so she figured that was the best thing to do while waiting. As she sat quietly reading her leg kind of fidgeted, she wasn't quite used to not prancing and hopping about.
After a while of waiting someone came to take her order. "Um.." She began looking around for Jamison. "I'll take two Butterbears." Konnor replied to the waiter. She looked down at her watch. "Whats keeping him?" Konnor mumbled to herself. She didn't like waiting like this. It just wasn't for her. She looked down at a watch sh had gotten from a friend at Hogwarts. Jamison was already fifteen minutes late. Konnor smiled remembering the old times. They came to Hogwarts pretty much at the same time. Their parents had known each other, so they were raised pretty close. They would always hang out at least a couple time during the school year. This would be the first time this year. They were both so busy with school, other friends, holidays. Christmas was over so they soon would have less stress. Konnor heard footsteps behind her, she turned around and saw...

"It's snowing, it's snowing, it's snowing!" A voice screamed above Jamison's head. The windows were already open and the sunlight drained into the room. Jamison squinted his eyes as he yawned and stretched his arms. He blinked again not realizing who the person was or even where he was. Jamison's eyes met with the tiny girl and he instantly jerked and hopped out of his bed. "Wendi, what are you doing here?" He asked waking up his dorm mates. "How did you even get in here? You don't know the password." He said franticly to the little Hufflepuff first year. She wasn't even a Ravenclaw. How on earth could even crazy Wendi pull that off. "I followed a Ravenclaw in." She said merrily. Jamison quickly jerked his flannel robe off his dresser and pulled it over his. "Wendi, you're not allowed." He said pushing her nicely down the stairs to the dorm. They reached the bottom and she stood stationary with her hands on her hips looking up at him. "Jamison I'm bored." She said. He smiled slightly at her. "I will talk to you later now get out." He called still nicely at his sister and she turned around and left. Jamison looked at the few around him in the common room. "Umm, large house elf." He said jokingly as he turned back towards his dorm.
Now knowing Wendi wouldn't let him sleep, Jamison decided to get dressed. He was meeting Konner in Hogsmeade and didn't want to be late like he usually was. He quickly put on his jeans and blue sweater hung his gray scarf over his neck. Jamison then washed his face and ran water through his hair like he usually did. He then pulled on his tennis shoes and left the dorm. His fellow dorm mates were now up and they looked at him slightly mad and slightly amused. Only a few remained as it was still the holidays, but Christmas was now over. There were only a few more days left until New Years and then everyone would return for classes. Jamison and Wendi stayed at Hogwarts, but were looking forward to his other friends returning and getting to hang out with them once again. Jamison shrugged at his friends and then left the dorm. He smiled at the same few in the common room and headed out of the common room.
Before Jamison could even walk a few steps, a familiar face peered beside him following him. Jamison smiled at Wendi still walking. "May I help you?" He asked nicely to his little sister. He kept up his pace as her tiny feet followed. "Where are you going?" She asked cutely still in her pajamas. "I'm meeting Konner." He replied. Immanently her eyes lit up. "Really, I want to go!" she wailed. Jamison looked at her softly walking down the stairs. "You know you can't got to Hogsmeade. When your a third year that will change." He said as nice as he could. Wendi gave her little pouty face at him. "Fine, tell her I said hi." She replied. "Will do." He said. They were both nearing the castle entrance and Wendi stopped walking and stood looking at him sadly. "How come I'm in Hufflepuff? I never get to see you." She lowered her head towards the ground. "Because you are going to make a difference. I'm not." He replied. She cocked her head as she didn't understand. Jamison knew she wouldn't, but he did. He solemnly turned around waved goodbye and left the castle.
The village was happy and full of cheer. Even though Christmas was over, that didn't mean everything was suddenly different. Everyone will still cheerful despite every attack over the past months. All that seemed gone for the time being except for the occasional family in a large silent group. Jamison was of course afraid of Death Eaters, but not like that. He wasn't so afraid that he became a different person. He slowly moved towards the cafe where he would meet Konner. Wendi had made him late, but Jamison was sure Konner would understand. He walked into the semi crowded cafe and smiled at the Hufflepuff he saw at a table. "Hey, Konner. Sorry I'm late. Wendi sends her love." He said sitting at the table taking off his scarf. "So, what's new?" He asked smiling at his old friend.

Konnor smiled when she saw her dear friend Jamison. "Don't worry about it!" Konnor replied merrily. "Ahh, tell Wendi I haven't even seen her once!" "Me and her should really do something together sometime.." Konnor said remembering that this was Wendi's first year at Hogwarts. She was a Huffle just like herself. Konnor's smile widened as Jamison sat down and got himself settled. Konnor remembered the good old times. Back when they were little bitty kids, Jamison would take things to her and see if she would eat them, and Konnor always did. Konnor laughed. "Uhh.. Lets see, I don't think much new has happened to me." "What about you?" Konnor asked curiously. "Any girlfriends..?" Konnor said smiling suggestively.
Konnor watched as the waiter came back carrying the Butterbears. "Oh, sorry I kind of ordered our drinks already." "I didn't know when you were coming.." Konnor new thats what he would've ordered, but it was polite to apologize. Konnor and Jamison went way back to diaper days. Konnor's mom, and Jamison's mom would take turns babysitting, every now and then. "Hows your mum?" "Oh, and your dad?" "My parents are well, in fact my mum just got a new job." "She sales muggle homes." "But she gets pretty good pay." "Kelley is doing good." "Have you seen her around in the Ravenclaw common room or anything?"
"You know we don't talk." Konnor said with that "We have never gotten along." Type look on her face. "My dad is still working for the ministry." "Although, I think he may be getting tired of it." "But I'm not for certain, they haven't sent me a letter yet this week, so I am not sure whats going on." Konnor looked at her menu. There was nothing that really appealed to her but the decided to order some soup and rolls. "What would you like?" She gestured to Jamison. "That sounds good!" Konnor said pointing to an item on the menu. Konnor always had a tendency to kind of order for Jamison. "Oops, doing it again.." Konnor said catching herself early. "Hows homework going?" Konnor said waiting for Jamison to order. "Did you get the essay done for I think Mr. Binns?" "I'm not sure though.." Konnor said scratching her little blonde head. She never was a good one for remembering assignments.
Konnor laughed. She had a flash back to old times. "Remember that time over at your house, when we were little, we got in a mud pie making contest?" "That was funny!" Konnor said remembering how mad Mrs. Parson had been when she saw our clothes. "Good times., huh?" Konnor said poking Jamison's nose jokingly. "I miss those times.." Konnor said drifting off into remembrance mode.

Jamison smiled at Konner's comment. "I will. I'm sure she would like that." She said nicely. Konner and Wendi both seemed a lot a like. They were both happy and nice and Jamison liked them that way. They were Hufflepuff and darn good ones at that. Jamison loved the way they were and hoped that they would never change. They both seemed to talk a lot also. Which Jamison did like even though he wasn't very talkative himself. Jamison held a funny smile on his face as Konner asked if he had a girlfriend. "Well, technically, no, but I do like someone." He said thinking of the girl and remembering her face. "How about you?" He asked. Jamison and Konner were good friends and this subject wasn't a weird one at all for them. He smiled a bit as the waiter came over with drinks.
Jamison listen to Konner's explanation. His smile sort of drifted for a second. He looked Konner straight in the eye. "That's a joke, right?" He asked. Konner should know that his parents died when he was young, right? He had known her long enough for her to know that. But, maybe she had forgotten or something like that. How? Jamison didn't really know. Jamison tried to forget Konner's question and listened to her next. "Umm, maybe once or twice, but not much." He said softly. Konner was telling Jamison just some things about her life when the waiter came over. He ordered just a ham sandwich and then looked back at Konner. He looked at her for a second. "Well me and Wendi are fine and so are my grandparents. My homework is fine as well." Jamison always finished his homework in good time and he loved working sometimes. "Yea, I finished it. Did you?" He asked nicely.
Jamison stared at Konner as she talked. "I do too." He said remembering those times. He missed his parents and having fun with them. Jamison missed everything about them and he felt bad that his sister would never fully remember them. He knew how much she wanted too, but she really couldn't as she was only two years old when it happened. Jamison looked back at Konner. "So, how are your grades? Oh, and ready for the OWL exams this year?" He asked nicely.
(Konner, I know what we agreed on, but if they are going to be old friends, you need to know that Jamison;s parents died when he was seven.)
