It was a nice day out-side, that Monica decided to go to Hogsmeade. The sun was shining bright, but the temperature was just right. She grabbed her jacket and her purse, and headed towards the door. She walked out- and closed it behind her. She decided to walk to hogsmeade, since she was already In the wizarding world. After she made it she decide to go to a pub to get some butterbeer. She liked it in any kind of weather, hot or cold. She walked a little more and saw distance lights ahead; she knew that she was really close to Hogsmeade. Monica continued walking dazed into her thoughts, wondering to how she’d spent the rest of her day. She was suddenly awakened from her thoughts when she bumped into a girl. “Move out of my way” she said in a mean nasty voice with a smirk on her face. Monica continued to walk as if nothing happened. She made her way towards into hogshead since it was the first place she spotted hoping to find somebody there she knew. ((I'm bored ))

Aubree was tired of being at home with nothing to do. The house and freezing cold. She decided to go somewhere a little warmer. So, she threw on a green silk skirt, white silk tank-top, and beige sandals. Aubree always dressed a little fancy no matter what the occasion. Before leaving, she decided to tell her parents. Not that they would care. "Mother." She said calmly looking around the house. After minutes without a response she heard someone talking on the other side of the house. "Mom." Aubree said walking towards the sun-room. Her mother was talking to Aubree's sister Darmele. What a surprise. Aubree said quietly. She knew her mother preferred Darmelle. "I'm going to Hogsmead." Aubree said as she approached the room where her mother sat getting Carmie, the house-elf, to paint her toe nails. "Fine, fix your hair darling." Her mother responded and then started talking to Darmelle again. Aubree did as she was told and then left for Hogsmead. Hogsmead was only a few minutes away from her house. She felt the warm air on her. It felt alot better than the freezing air at her house. Aubree decided to go to the Hogshead instead of the Three Broomsticks. The Three Broomsticks usually had alot of first years. Aubree turned into the pub and looked for a place to sit. She saw a Slytherin girl in her year that she knew to be Monica. Aubree didn't really know her, but they were in the same house. "Hey, Monica." Aubree said as she approached her. (I hope it's okay I posted here. I'm bored too. I made it like it was still summer. Hope that's okay.)

Monica had raised her attention when she had heard her name being called. It was Aubree a girl in her same house, same year. She had never talk to her since she didn’t have a reason to. It was mostly because she was so quite except when she had to tell somebody off or just because she was having a mentally break down. She always held her anger inside, never showing any signs of depression. She didn’t like people knowing that she felt bad, not even people in her own house. She looked at Aubree and said a little ‘hi’ as she watched the girl approach her. She didn’t really had anything to say but glared at the girl. She just sat there quietly wondering what Aubree thought of her.

Aubree didn't really know Monica becuase not many people really knew Monica. There was something about her. She always semmed angry at people even Slytherins. Aubree didn't understand it, but she wanted for Monica to atleast accept her. "Did you come to the Hogshead to avoid the first years? I did, their so annoying and the Gryffindors, don't get me started." She said. Aubree had a sort of scowl on her face that was present a lot. Monica always seemed depressed and she scared some people, but nothing scared Aubree. She didn't mind getting to know someone that seemed worthless. She was strong.

Monica looked at the former Slytherin that approached her. She then mentioned about not mentioning about them to not get her started. Monica then said, “I won’t get you started. Who said I was?” raising her eyebrows. 'More filthy and snobby children attending this school year' she thought frowning in disappointment. 'As if they need an education they can’t even talk appropriately to any slytherin.’ She thought. It seemed that Aubree had been right about that. She knew she probably wanted to talk and ask her why she had always been so secretive. As if it were a Mystery.
But in reality Monica didn’t know what she was going to say, to her if she asked. She felt like she needed to be alone, and to stop everything that was happening to her. It had been giving her headaches from thinking about it; almost to the point she was going to kill herself. She wanted for everything to stop, she wanted her parents back, she wanted for that little Gryffindor girl named Rosaliz to go away. She wanted a shoulder to cry on with comfort when she needed it the most, but she knew that she couldn’t have any of that. She looked at Aubree and wondered what kind of girl she was since she never actually spoke directly to her even if they were in the same house for the past four years. That’s why everybody in her house always never knew what to talk about with her since she was always quite not showing any signs of weakness and depression or showing any of her thoughts or feelings but today she did. She knew that she might had looked foolish but the only thing Monica wanted to know was the answer to her question...why?.

Aubree stared at her for a moment. "I didn't mean it like you would. It's just an old habit that I need to change." She explained. Aubree couldn't help, but wonder why Monica was alone in the Hogshead. True, Aubree was doing the same thing, but it was odd for a girl to just go in there. Aubree did take comfort in the fact that most present were old Slytherins. Some of them were worthy. Others however, were defiantly not. Aubree couldn't help but wonder why perfectly good Slytherins had to go and make themselves muggle lovers. Aubree shuddered at the thought of that happening to her. She couldn't imagining herself becoming unworthy like that and hoped she never would.
Aubree's gaze then went back to Monica. "So, what have you been up to lately?" Aubree asked. She was interested. Monica always seemed isolated and depressed. It was sad because she seemed worthy and had great potential. Everyone needed friends to talk to and Aubree couldn't think of any of Monica's. Aubree was determined to help this girl. She wanted to help her with what ever she was going through. Aubree could tell something was wrong with her.

Monica looked at the former slytherin with a sharp eye. She didn't seem as bad as she thought she was but yet again Monica could never tell. Monica looked at this girl not knowing what to say. So she decided to bring up a little topic to keep her mind away from the tragic days events. "What do you think of the little new first year? there are so many of them. I just want to move them out of the way. I was surprised that their parents would even let them come with all the attacks." Monica wasn't sure about this judgment. She just felt so bad. She wanted to get up and leave. But yet again she didn't want to hurt herself or anyone else even more.
Monica then turned around and looked the other way. She stood up from her chair despite that she felt ill all of a sudden. After taken a few breathes she sat back down. She knew that she might have looked odd to what she just did. But she didn't care of what other people thought about her. She knew that nobody would ever care about her then why she? She shrugged, clenching her fists fighting the sharp pain from inside then looking back at Aubree waiting for a reply about that first years.
