Cassie looked around the shop as she picked up the black cloak with the Gryffindor crest on it. It was heavy, and that was what she wanted. Cassandra looked at the pile of robes that had been chosen for her to be tailored to her size. The pile included school robes, Quidditch robes, and even a few outfits for weekend wear. “ Are we done, Ms. Blackfire?” the kind old witch asked as Cassandra picked up a pair of Quidditch boots of the wall. Cass nodded her enthusiastically. “Yes, I don’t possibly think I could do anymore shopping. Unless,” Cass displayed the shoes proudly in her hands, “I find some cute shoes.” The witch nodded and disappeared into the back with the pile of clothes leaving Cassandra too her own musings.
It really only took her a few moments to find several pair of shoes that she wanted to purchase. For one, she found a cute pair of red Mary Janes that would look great with her school robes. She just hoped that none of the professors took notice of them. She also found a muggle pair of shoes, called Converses, that were black with a pretty satin flower print on them. Cassandra also put the new pair of Quidditch boots in the pile since hers had seen better days.
Finally sitting down in a chair, Cass waited for the witch to return with her new buys. It never took to alter clothes magically, and even Cass had only spent about thirty minutes to create a new dress. She had actually made most of her robes for her previous years at Hogwarts to save money, but she felt that it was about time to splurge on some nice ones. Yawing loudly, she wondered why this was taking so long. Picking up the Daily Prophet, which laid on a table beside her, she read the headlines that announced another muggle attack in London. She frowned. When where these attacks going to end?

Padme's hand reached instinctively to her back pocket, where the photos were. Had she actually gone insane? So preoccupied over the photos that she didn't even notice her mothers' horrible horrid state? Padme sniffed the air before clicking her tongue disapprovingly. No good smells in Hogsmeade today. This would e her last visit before school started. It seemed strange to her that soon, this would be the village she went to on assigned weekends. Of course, first years couldn't go. She had to remind herself constantly of that fact. She hated it, so she had decided to come here one last times and enjoy the pleasures it held. Tessa had come with, of course, but had left her to wonder. She had went to the Three Broomsticks, probably to drink. Padme stifled her breathing as something wafted through the air. Something good. She shifted to the left to see a small donut store selling magically lit up or flying donuts. Padme licked her lips but didn't stop to buy it. It would be a waste of money and since they were running low.....Padme hated the thought of being broke. She wouldn't let it happen. What with her paintings, they made some cash but not enough to support them fully. She moved away from the small store and toward the clothing store. She really needed some more robes and shoes, perhaps more vanity accessories? She smirked and sauntered off in that direction.
The smells were soon eliminated as Padme stepped on the threshold to the door of the store. It was nearing noon and the heat and humidity was dense. Her clothes were sticking to her figure, which made her uncomfortable and grumpy. Pulling open the door, she walked into the air-conditioned room, that relieved her quickly. She smirked with a satisfactory glint in her eyes as she moved toward the clothing. It was all rather neat and crisp, which only increased her dislike and liking into one. She glared at the plain black robes; they made her nauseated. Honestly, who could wear something so....unwilling to perfect your image? It was bland and ugly so Padme moved on, her honey-brown eyes moving from side to side. She didn't find anything she agreed with until the robes with green satin around the ages. They were silken made and looking untouched. Padme reached up to feel the silk, making sure it was the respectable kind and not the fake, nasty kind. She nodded her approval as the soft clothe rubbed against her fingertips. It was good. She picked it up daintily, a new feeling rushing through her mind. Would she be able to pay for it? She looked over at the price and almost dropped the robe. How utterly expensive! How did the expect someone to buy something like that! And it wasn't even the fine silk. She stalked away, throwing the robe carelessly on the ground. She hadn't like it anyway. An ugly atrocity, that's what it was. She kept her thoughts out of the particular line of fire that would send her in rage. She had delved so deep in her mind that she tripped over someone's legs. She fell hard on the floor, her arms extended to cushion her arm somewhat. Instead, the felt broken, although they were probably just stiff from the rough landing. Padme picked herself up, thoroughly disgruntled, and looked up at the person she had fallen over. It was a girl, with clothing at her feet and a newspaper in her hand. She appeared to be around Jack's age, which made Padme's hair seemingly tingle with electricity.
"Watch what you're doing! You tripped me and yet you don't even help me up?" Padme bawled, her hands on her hips with a hatred glare on her small face. She glared with increasing rage until it boiled down to a minimum. Her face turned back to its normal perfect complexion. Even her eyes weren't as wide. Smirking, Padme reached down to wipe off her legs that had touched the girl. "Have to get rid of germs that could cause some sort of disease, you know." Padme said in case the girl was wondering about her actions. She straightened and smiled grotesquely at the girl. "Do you know where the nearest sink is? My hands are filthy."

Utterly immersed in the paper, she didn't even notice the girl walk into the shop. Hell, she barely even noticed as the girl tripped over her feet and landed in the floor in front of her. Cass' eyebrow raised as the girl began to shout and fumed. The girl held out her hands in almost pure disgust asking for a sink. " Um not really sure, but....."Cass bent over and pulled out her handbag. After a moment or two, she retrieved a little bottle with a purple substance inside. " Here," she offered the bottle to the girl, " this is antibacterial lotion. It works just like lotion. All you need to do is rub it in. I'm sorry about not helping you up. I was just shocked."
Cassandra looked to the back of the shop and saw a robe lying on the ground. Getting up, she went over and picked up the green fabric that lay on the ground. " Um, I rather like it." She took the robe and held it up to herself. Looking down, she let a smile cross her face. " I rather like. Adalia!" The witch that had been helping her came through the door she had disappeared behind earlier. " Add this to my purchase, please." The witch bowed and disappeared into the back of the shop once more.
Cass turned back around and sized up the girl once more. " Not really my color. I prefer red, to be sure. You know, one of the traits that go with being a Gryffindor. By the way, I'm Cassandra. Cassandra Blackfire. I assume your going to be attending Hogwarts this year?"

((Sorry it took so long to reply. )) Padme was slightly surprised when the girl gave her the lotion, but she didn't let it show through her face. She glared at it with pure loathing before letting a smirk adorn her face. "It's about time the filthy bring something along to clean up their mess." Padme drawled, taking the lotion, careful not to touch the girls' hand. She raised an eyebrow at the girl when she said she was sorry. "You better be. As for being shocked, I expected nothing less from the likes of you." she spat, rubbing in the lotion with extreme care to get everything on her hand covered with the substance. It was cool to the touch. Padme rubbed it in vigorously, holding out the lotion for the girl to take, making sure she barely touched it so the girl wouldn't be able to touch her hand again. She smirked sadistically but it soon vanished when the girl walked over, picked up the green robe and decided to buy it! It was very expensive and she bought it without even looking at the price tag? Padme glared with new rage as the girl came back to introduce herself. "Padme Rendel. Yes, of course I'm going to Hogwarts. You're a Gryffindor then? Figures. I'm going to be a Slytherin." Padme smirked and let a flicker of pride flash through her honey-brown eyes. She hated showing emotion but she let this through; after all, she was full of no regret about being a Slytherin. She was going to make one of the best, she was sure of this. Padme ran a finger through her hair before looking down at Cassandra's purchases. They all looked like good clothing but yet, they must be expensive. She couldn't be a mudblood - unless she was a rich one. Only a pure blood could have that kind of money. She hadn't heard of the Blackfires before; she never kept track of the pureblooded families. She learned from experience who were worthy and who was not. She smirked slightly. At least she had some sort of taste. "Late school shopping then?" Padme asked, turning slightly to view the closest item, which was a indigo blue cloak. She eyed it carefully but had no longing to buy it. She turned her eyes toward Cassandra but didn't move her body to see her clearly or hear her answer.
