((Sorry, the title is rather original, but I couldn't think of a better title.))
Marina walked out of a rather decent robe shop, after buying a handsome pair of dark green dress robes, and she headed for the Three Broomstick, seeing as it was going onto around 1:00 p.m., and she was getting rather hungry. She walked into the small building, and felt rather relieved to notice that the place wasn't too crowded, because when it was, it was usually crawling with filthy blood.
She walked to a table, after inspecting it thoroughly, to make sure that it was clean enough, and sat down, putting her purse down, on the table beside her. She flagged down a waiter, and after a few minutes of waiting for him to finish busing the table beside Marina's. The man finally came over, and asked in a way too cheery mood if he could get her anything to drink. Marina scowled at the man and replied, "About time! Honestly, you'd think that they'd think about hiring better workers, since they are so slow!" she said the last part, more to herself than to the man. "Just get me a butterbeer." she finished smugly, as the man hurried off.
Moments later, the man came back with Marina's drink. Marina raised her eyebrows at how fast the man had been this time, but really, all you have to do is make sure that the person knew who was in charge, and they would do so. Well, that's the way Marina had always been taught, and fortunately, it had most of the time, always worked. She took her drink from the man, and the man then asked if she had wanted anything to eat. She shook her head and replied sharply, "Not now, come back later." The man then hurried off somewhere else, again, as Maddie took a sip of the sweet, cold drink.

Ariane threw a lamp angrily towards one unfortunate house-elf who had had the luck to accidentally crease one of her blouses. “You good for nothing piece of filth! I want you to go and iron your fingers and ears so next time you might actually be useful!” Ariane screamed at the house-elf looking up as her mother entered the room. “Did it upset you, my angel?” her mother asked gently as she kissed Ariane’s cheek before turning and waving her hand towards the house-elf: “You heard your punishment. Go and get to it.” The house-elf disappeared with a deep bow as Ariane’s mother turned towards her: “Sweetheart, your father will be taking you out shopping for school supplies. Go on now and run downstairs. Have a pleasant day,” Ariane’s mother told her and Ariane nodded. Eyeing her clothes critically Ariane nodded with satisfaction. The knee-length summer-dress was tailored for her and the white and blue colours complimented her complexion. Her hair was left loose for once and wild locks tumbled down Ariane’s back.
“I will see you later, mother,” Ariane said politely, touching her mothers cheek with her lips for a moment before turning and walking down to the entrance hall of the Dianne manor, where her father was already standing. “You look lovely, dear,” came her fathers comment before he took Ariane’s hand and apperated them off to Hogsmead. About half an hour later Ariane had most of the things she would be needing for school. Looking around with boredom as his father met with a few of his employees from the ministry, Ariane new better to interfere the conversation. After a few phrases the whole group – 2 employees, Ariane’s father and Ariane started walking towards Three Broomsticks. Looking around the pub Ariane wrinkled her nose. She was most certainly used to higher-class places. “Sweety, I will go and work a little – I have an artifact to buy upstairs. You wait here for me,” Arian’es father told her and Ariane inhaled sharply. She would have to wait HERE? “Couldn’t I go and wait somewhere else? This place looks awful!” Ariane protested loudly, not caring if her words reached the bartender and the owner of this place or not.
“Ariane, I think I told you to wait here,” came a stern reply and Ariane bowed her head. Her parents adored her and gave her everything she wanted. But punishment for disobedience would be hard. Ariane had to forcefully push down a shudder recalling the previous one. She hadn’t been able to sit for 3 days! “Yes, father, I understood,” Arian told meekly and her father smiled at her absentmindedly: “That’s my little angel. Could I get a glass of water here?” hHEr father ordered before moving up the stairs towards the private rooms above the Three Broomsticks. A waitress approached her a few minutes later with a tall glass of mineral water with small ice-cubes floating in the water. “This is despicable!” Ariane stated loudly as she threw the glass back at the waitress not displaying any emotion as water splashed out of the glass and onto the waiteress as well as onto the floor, “Bring me glass that’s actually clean enough for me to see my clear reflection on it!”
The waitress glared but left as Ariane inspected the room. It wasn’t very crowded which was good. At least none of mudblood filch would try to strike up a conversation with her this way! Moving to sit at an empty table near a window Ariane glanced at a girl sitting at the next table for a moment from under lowered lashes. She wasn’t familiar, but hopefully she was a pure-blood – a discreetly hidden glance that lasted merely a second had showed Ariane that. Taking a seat Ariane tapped a finger onto the table impatiently waiting for the waitress to show up again with her mineral water. Preferably with a clean glass this time.

Marina looked up at her drink, to hear, what sounded like a young girl, yelling. Once she had spotted the source of the sound, she raised her eyebrows, and a smirk, that was kind of mixed with a small smile, adorned her face. The girl reminded Marina much like herself, when she was around that age. Marina didn't reconize the girl from Hogwarts, but she seemed very worthy of the title of a Slytherin. 'Probably a new first year, this term.' she mused. If she was, which she probably was, the girl would most definitly make a great Slytherin. Marina could tell that the girl was a pureblood, a girl with a great attidude for a Slytherin.
The girl then took a seat, and Marin awatched with raised eyebrows as the girl stared at her for a few moments, from the table next to hers. Once the girl had turned back around, Marina took another sip of her water, and looked at the back of the girl's head, while drawling out, "Hello... Marin Williamson, fifth year, Slytherin, and who might you be?" She thought it right to introduce herself, before she asked who the other person was.
((Terribly sorry for the shortness.))

Ariane tapped her finger on the table. She had barely enough time to sit down before the girl she had seen before talked to her. Ariane tilted her head concluding everything slowly. She was a Slytherin, meaning she was a pure-blood. Ariane knew a couple of people from Slytherin – a few of those who most certainly hadn’t impressed them. And a few older students who she could truly look up to for their worthy qualities. This girl – Marina Williamson – wasn’t familiar but Ariane figured that it wouldn’t hurt to reply and see how things would turn out.
Turning slowly in her seat Ariane looked at Mariane. “Ariane Phyllis Dianne. Soon to be a Slytherin. What other house would be worth of a true pure-blood?” Ariane replied with a calm tone. Not too quickly, not too slowly. She knew how she wanted to be one day. Someone who could be useful for the Dark Lord. She had never said it out openly – too many threats would come with that – but she never really hid her dislike towards mudbloods and muggles either. Mudbloods were even worse. They tried to crawl into places – like Hogwarts – where they most certainly didn’t belong. Muggles were just annoying imbeciles. “It is a pleasure seeing one of my future house-mates. Especially since so many others don’t seem worthy of being in the noble house of Salazar Slytherin. Associating with muggles and mudbloods. Despicable,” Ariane sneered at the mere thought of it looking up as a new waiter approached her placing a tall frosty glass of water in front of her. At least the class was clean to Ariane’s satisfaction now. Dismissing the waiter with a flick of her hand Ariane took a sip of her drink.

((Sorry it took me quite long to reply. I've been busy with my other characters, and with family issues.))
Marina listened to the younger girl talk, and she nodded her head at a few things. "Exactly," she began to comment on Ariane had said. "All these unworthy children are getting sorted into Slytherin, and then they go off, and making friends with the blasted Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors! I think that it makes no sense what-so-ever, and I'm sure their parents were very much dissapointed, when they heard that their children were disgracing Salazar, the Dark Lord, their families, of course, and all of those presently in Slytherin, and the ones that have no graduated from Hogwarts." It wad true, what Marina had just said. All of these unworthy children were being placed into Slytherin, and most people, along with Marina, were starting to think that the Sorting Hat had lost it. Marina really wasn't one to beleive some talking hat, but after all, it had placed the great Dark Lord, Voldemort into Slytherin, and of course, herself, so it must have at least some sense in it. At least this girl seemed as though that she would turn out a great Slytherin one day, and obviously ammount to something for the Dark Lord, as Marina planned to do, when she graduated from Hogwarts.
"So, do you come here often? Don't think I've ever seen you hear, but that's probably because I don't go here very much. Usually it's Diagon Alley for me, or actually, Knockturn Alley, although you get too many threats and strange look, seeing a girl like myself walking around those parts. Don't understand why though, most of those women are old, hags." she mused, with her eyebrows raised.
((Wow, didn't know that it was this short. Sorry, again. Haven't been posting very well with Marina.))

Ariane’s eyes met Marina’s in a cold look upon hearing her words. “I see. Wortless students in Slytherin and you just whine about it? I’ve heard a lot of good things about Slytherin Queens and how they teach other students to behave, including those worthless Slytherins. Do you just sit back watch them go and prance around with unworthy and complain about how they bring Salazar’s inheritance to shame?” The words were cutting. The point of them was cutting as well, even though a slow, almost angelically innocent smile softened Ariane’s features. She looked, young, innocent, pure – everything her soul wasn’t. If she really was an angel, then she was a fallen one.
Ever so slightly raising her glass towards Marina in an almost greeting before taking a sip of the cold mineral water. Ariane had never been one to sit back and watch things settle down on themselves. She stepped in and made sure that things settled down the way that was most useful to her! Naturally she never did the dirty work herself – that was what servants were for. But she would never sit by and let things roll on like this. Curses, hexes, isolation – there were tons of things how to teach others obedience. Due to being too young yet, Ariane had to keep closer watch on her temper. But that didn’t mean she was all out of resorts on how to fight back.
Ariane sneered at the suggestion that she would come here often. “Come here? With all the filth from Hogwarts that stays here?” Ariane was mildly disturbed of the fact that even the mere idea of something so atrocious might have even crossed Marina’s head, “I eat at Hogs Head, where the company is better. This time father was interrupted before we got to business – the only reason I’m here.” Ariane scowled. Really, she had protested about staying here, but she didn’t have a choice. Father had told her to wait here. Cold eyes flickered back to Marina at her comment about Knockturn Alley. Ariane had gone there alone – on of her servants had been accompanying her, or had her one of her parents been doing business while she waited and browsed the different stores, but no one had looked at her funny. Perhaps they had recognized the lond hair, royal posture and know she was a Dianne? Dianne’s were very fierce supporters of the Dark Lord. They were never suspected – how else could Ariane’s father have remained at the high position he was in at the Ministry – but they were loyal.
