Kris stared at the building where Dana had decided to work for a bit. Kris didn’t really understand Dana’s motives – she most certainly didn’t need the money – but it was her choice. But since she worked here, Kris might just as well see what they had to offer. Irritate someone at the same time. Hanging his sunglasses to the collar of his shirt Kris entered the store and looked around. Entering the store Kris looked around and noticed a familiar face talking to some ickle kids. It was some Ravenclaw, Kris didn’t have a clue what her name was, but he had seen her with Dana sometimes. Now she Kris could irritate.
Making over, Kris grabbed hold of the girl’s hair and yanked lightly: “What a bad service. I expect someone to come and advertise the stuff you sell here, but no, I still have to get it myself.” Looking at the two kids – they were around 10, Kris smirked at them: “Get lost now.” Watching the kids move away, Kris took firm hold of the girls arm and dragged her forcefully over to the first display of… stuffed toys? Poking the snake that was supposed to take hold of your wand, Kris looked who it curled around his finger, before pulling it off and tangling it before of the girls eyes: “This snake doesn’t look good. Don’t you have these things in the shape of an attacking cobra. And what charms are on this things – could I put something on it myself too without breaking the previous charms?”
Kris let go of the girls arm – he had let go of his hair a bit earlier – and smirked at her: “Now, as a good little employee tell me why I would even want to buy this thing. And don’t forget the rule that a costumer is the king.”

"Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick." went the alarm clock on the dresser next to her. With on swift motion Jasmine pressed the off button and groaned. Bringing her hands to her head she put her fingers though her hair yawning. It was only noon and she had only two hours for a nap. Turning over on her right side Jasmine just stared at the yellow wall letting her mind wonder. She had woke up very early this morning to head out to the stables and do the chores that needed to be done and went riding. But that took up her whole morning only leaving her a couple of hours to sleep before her work shift at the Cubby. Jasmine had recently took up a job at a former Ravenclaw new store to pay for her broom. Her parents weren't possibly going to give her the money. They wanted to teach her the value of a gallon.
"Jasmine! Get up! Now!" Natalie Winters called up the stairs interrupting her thoughts. Groaning Jasmine slanted her head to the right and practically jumped as it was already 12:40. Growing frantic she swung the covers to one side and jumped from the bed to her closet to get changed.
The closet door flew open and out came Jasmine hopping on one foot to put on a pair of tennis shoes. Her long dark brown was up in a high pony tail and she wear light blue jeans and a purple tank top. Grabbing her shoulder bag from the door nub she sprinted down the stairs but ran into somebody sending her flying to the ground. "Hey kiddo what's the rush?" Henry asked trying to find his keys. Jumping up from the ground Jasmine ran toward the office room yelling something to her dad as she entered, "I'm going to work! See you later!" Walking into the fire place she took out a velvet bag filled with flo powder. Taking a handful Jasmine threw it down on the ground while shouting, "Catalina's Cubby, Hogsmeade Village!" and admittedly she began to disappear into the emerald flames.
Minutes later Jasmine had reappeared into the Cubby noticing that their were already some customers there. Looking at her watch it turned to 1:15, right on time. Walking into the staff lounge she set her shoulder bag down on the ground and pulled on an apron over her tank top. Once Jasmine was settled she walked into the Cubby her hazel eyes sparkling. In no time flat she could be getting her broom. Just the thought of not borrowing the schools Cleansweap made her bubble with excitement. Just than a group of little children walked up to her and started asking questions. "How much is this pony?" a little girl with blond hair asked. "Well since you picked the 20 inch pony its three galleons and two sickles." Jasmine said with a smile.
Just as she was about to answer a little brown head boys order when she felt her head yank back lightly. Sighing as Kris, Dana's cousin, started to talk about bad service and shooed the little kids off. He than let go of her hair but than yanked at her arm to follow him toward a display on stuffed animals. Watching Kris poke the snake Jasmine rubed her head lightly trying not to snap at him. "No I don't think we have Cobras just these kind of snakes. But I'm quite sure you can put a charm on it to slither or what ever you like it to do." Jasmine told him trying to stay calm before continuing, "Well you want to buy it because it's your money and you can do what you please with it. But are you looking for something in particular sir?"

Kris smirked lazily at Jasmine as she called him ’sir’. However her words made Kris shrug. No cobras? If they were already having snakes, then why not cobras? Cobras were neat snakes. Most other reptiles weren’t neat. They didn’t bother Kris, but he didn’t like them either. Raising both eye-brows a little for a change Kris poked the stuffed snake thoughtfully before looking at Jasmine with an air of innocense surrounding him: „Can I charm it to bite people I don’t like? Like Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs? Some younger and irritating Ravenclaw too I suppose. Unworthy Slytherins who associate with dirt need a harsher punishment. And I know it’s my money. Don’t worry, I have no problems wasting it.“
Kris grabbed the tails of 4 snakes – 2 largest ones, one medium and one smallest -and threw them carelessly at Jasmine: „I’ll be taking these. Now come and advertise the merchandise.“ Picking up some notebook Kris let the pages slip through his fingers easily: „Keep in mind that your tip is completely up to me. On that not I prefer ’my lord’ to ’sir’. But for now tell me why I should want to buy the Cubby’s stationary? Or quills and the... whatever this is called.“ Kris swung the authors notebook in front of Jasmine’s eyes not minding the least if he was botherting or irritating her. It was her job after all. If she oculdn’t take a costumer – well, that was just her bad then.

Jasmine looked up at Kris as he shrugged his shoulders about something. Gazing at the snakes Jasmine just tried to smile turning back toward the customer knowing she needed to keep her anger under control. But he was just getting under her skin at the moment. Staring at Kris with a forced smile she listened as he wanted to charm the snakes to bite people that were not worthy of him. Did that meant the snake could bite her? If Jasmine could roll her eyes she would but her job was at stake a probably a nice tip. "Yes. When you buy the snakes you could do anything you like to them." Jasmine told him watching Kris grab four snakes, two large, and two mediums and threw it in Jasmines arms continuing on looking for more items to buy.
Following behind Kris Jasmine watched as he picked up one of the journal and flipped through the blank pages. Taking in a deep breath Jasmine just ignored that fact that he wanted her to call him 'my lord'. Over her dead body! "Well that journal your holding right now is called a Personal Journal. It made to only open up to you and no body else. It also comes in many variety of colors. I think the green one will do you just fine." Jasmine said smiling kindly before turning toward the quills. "You might want to buy a scented quill to write in it with. The scents are Vanilla, Chocolate, Lemon, Mint, Cinnamon." Jasmine said picking up the five quills and offering them to Kris.

Kris eyed the Personal Journal. What on earth would he do with a journal? Keeping a journal was unpractical. There were alwys ways to get into one when you were smart and paitent enough. And then what would be the use of your secrets? „Journal? Can I charm it so it will react to Winifred and speaks?“ Kris asked wihout really caring what the answer was. Jasmine just seemed so determined not to roll her eyes at him. Or not to snap back. Kris wanted to see if he would be able to make her scream out. It most definetaly wouldn’t help her jo or her tip. But it owuld be amusing for Kris.
Someone slammed into Kri who reacted automatically. A half-turn, grap and kick and the young boy was thrown a few feet away where he landed sitting. „What’s your problem?“ he yelled at Kris, as Kris just shrugged. „You are actually. You were interfering with my personal space. I didn’t do it on purpose. I was glad to send you on the floor which is as high as you should be,“ Kris sneered at him before turning towards Jasmine once again. „Who do you think you...“ the boy started. Kris sent an amusent glance over his shoudler but there must have been something violent enough in his posture, eyes or face, to make the guy scrambling out of the door.
Kris just shrugged and turned back eyeing the quills absent-mindedlt: „Vanilla is artificial. Chocolate boring.“ The named quills were carelessly thrown aside, „I don’t have a clue why I’d want my writing to be scented, but I can give these quills away to some more annoying relatives. I know just the spell for it, soI’ll take these,“ Kris mused calmly before turning and nodding at the other notebooks, „What about those?“

Jasmine held the four snakes tightly under her left arm still holding out her hand with five of the scented quills in her palm. Kris really didn't seem to like the journal, but then again he didn't seem the kind of guy who wanted to write about secrets and other things. Sighing Jasmine moved a strand of brown hair from her hazel eyes staring at the journal Kris had put down. The quills than dropped from her palm and fell to the flour. Startled Jasmine looked up and saw a boy sitting on the flour looking quite angry. "Excuse me! There is no need to hurt other customers!" Jasmine said looking up at Kris with one of her angry pissed off faces. She only gave this look to her brothers if they did something rude in public or tried to tackle her.
Just as Jasmine was about to make sure the boy was OK he left in a Frighten state of manner. 'Great....’ Jasmine said in her mind knelling down to pick up each quill that had been dropped. Once settled Jasmine listened as Kris didn't want the Chocolate or Vanilla scented quills. Setting the two quills back down on the self carefully she turned her attention back on the other notebooks Kris wondered about. "Well there’s the Author’s Notebook. You don't have to worry about changing rolls of parchment. There is the 50 page notebook and that’s 1 Galleon. 100 page notebook which is 1 Galleon, 10 Sickles. Than the 200 page notebook and that’s 2 Galleons." Jasmine said gesturing toward the notebook wondering if Kris was any interested or not.

Kris just stared at Jasmine as she said that hurting other costumers wasn’t necessary. “He ran into me. He should be happy he was in a good enough shape to walk away on his own feet,” Kris answered calmly squinting his eyes thoughtfully, “Old family though. Nice name, used to have influence too. Bankrupted now though.” Kris stared thoughtfully into thin air as his thoughts whirled around. A slight tilt of his head and Kris almost absent-mindedly eyed a girl passing behind Jazz’s back. ‘Nice figure’ Kris thought absent-mindedly giving the girl a mental rating of 8. Or 7.5 as the girls face wasn’t good enough to keep up with the figure.
“Author’s notebook. Eh, I guess I could find use to one of these, one of each version,” Kris said carelessly before turning and eyeing other things on display. Grabbing a few Critter writers Kris pulled the animals on top of them off before throwing the writers in Jasmine’s lap once again, “There too and 5 of Artist’s tablets.” Kris sneered at the display of quidditch things. He would have to be possessed before he’d jump up and way around a house banner. What was the point? It just looked idiotic. Sneering Kris turned away eyeing other things in the store: “Anything else that might interest me?”

Jasmine shifted her weight on her feet just itching to place her hand on her right hip. How could someone be so mean to do that? Well Kris and any other Slytherin that thought of themselves of royalty. "That’s nice to know about the boy. But it's a good thing I don't give a flying whop."Jasmine thought to herself noticing Kris stare off into space. Turning around slowly she noticed a girl looking around for something. Instantly Jasmine knew what he was doing. Growing up with four boys really made you understand every motion, and the fact that they did that when she was right next to them. "Men are pigs...." she thought to herself with sigh. Taking a step forward toward the display of Authors Notes Jasmine lightly stepped on Kris foot while extending her arm for the three journals. “I’m so sorry! I didn’t notice you staring off at the girl. Trying to rate her? Let me guess not good enough for you?” Jasmine said grabbing hold of the journals and holding them in her left hand along with the four snakes and scented quills. What else would he want her to hold, an elephant?
Following behind Kris Jasmine picked up five Artist Tablet and put it in the rest of the pile. Looking up at the Quidditch display Jasmine just watched as Kris looked at the Slytherin banner. “It would look quite lovely in your room or just anywhere.” Jasmine told him her voice slightly more calm now. Watching as Kris eyed the store more asking her if anything else would interest him. "There are many items in Catalina's Cubby that interest anyone! Are you looking for something that plays music? Or maybe some candy?" Jasmine asked orginazing the pile of items Kris wanted to buy. Maybe she could iritate him back with a more cheery and jolly mood.

Kris’s hands came out instincitvely grabbing Jazz’s upper arms as she stepped on his feet. Msirking back at Jazz Kris half-raised her as he placed her a step backwards: „You aren’t really a feather-weight are you? Don’t worry, I know accidents happen. You just didn’t plan this accident well enough. And no, she isn’t really worth my time. Only receivied 7 points out of 10. Wait, make that 6.5. She has a run in her pantyhose.“ Kris smirked back to Jazz. Did she really think something this simple would bother Kris? She needed to grow up a lot before she would be able to paly with Slytherins. Not that the girl actually had what it took to be a Slytherin in her, Kris decided mentally.
„I have music centrals in my home-manor. On special occasions and for balls I’ll hire musicians and I most certainly will not hang some weird banner advertizing team spirit in my room,“ Kris picked up a Slytherin house ring throwing it over his shoudlers towards Jazz as he walked towards the display of candies, „Do I really look like a team-player? Which candies are good enough?“

Jasmine felt herself lift from the ground a little and pushed away a step back from Kris. Raising an eyebrow at him as he told her she wasn't exactly light and that the girl was only rated at 6.5. "Well I don't call a hundred and fifth-teen pounds over weight. But I could probably you lift you up as well....But why must you rate girls like that? Are we just something to take from a shelf and be observed but soon later to be thrown away?" Jasmine said her eyebrow still arched. That was the thing about boys, they only thought about themselves and what other people think.
Listening as Kris began to talk about already having music devices back at his manor and didn't want to show pride for his house. Catching the ring that Kris sent over his shoulder Jasmine held it in her free hand making sure she didn't lose it without noticing. Something that small could just fall tot he flour and not be heard. Stopping behind Kris as he asked her two questions. "To tell the truth...No...Keeper is best position for you. Are you sure you don't want the Quidditch figures? We have a boy and a girl and you can change their hair color and other things. I'm sure we have a keeper...But you would have to ask a Sales Associate for help.." Jasmine said walking ahead of Kris leading the way to the counter where there was a glass containing all the candy.
Walking behind the counter Jasmine leaned on the top staring down into the glass. "As you can see we have a lot of chocolate. There is Milk Chocolate Creams, White Chocolate Creams, Dark Chocolate Creams, Chocolate Mints, Chocolate Cherries, Chocolate Caramels, Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares, Assorted Chocolate Box, Chocolate covered peanuts and finally Chocolate covered raisins. We also have lolly pops.." Jasmine said pointing to each chocolate with her index finger.

“Sure, you can carry me around the store. I didn’t know that it was part of the service here. I’d prefer to be hold bridal style if you don’t mind,” Kris told Jazz with a smirk, “As for girls – I actually prefer it if they walk around on a podium so I can choose them then. Picking girls up on a shelf - I can’t see them from every side if they just sit there. And why should I keep them around for longer than they amuse me?”
Kris sneered at Jasmine as she still offered him quidditch figures. He did play keeper. But why on earth would he want quidditch figures? Well, perhaps he could charm the figures too… make them attack people in classes to amuse himself? Kris sneered at the thought, even though it might be interesting. What do the people being attacked say – ‘Excuse me, professor, I’m being attacked by a miniature quidditch player. May I be excused from class?’ “One girl figure. Long blonde eyes. Blue eyes. Make sure she looks innocent,” Kris told Jasmine while eyeing the chocolates calmly, “10 packs of chocolate mints, 5 chocolate cherries, milk and dark chocolate creams, assorted chocolate box without white chocolate and a couple of packages of chocolate covered peanuts and raisins. Kris eyed the lollipops coldly before sneering at them. Barely giving Jasmine enough time to get the candies he had ordered Kris grabbed her elbow and dragged her off after him.
“Since you are already serving me, you might as well bring my lunch in the café. You either do it or I’ll make sure you’re resumee of work isn’t good enough,” Kris stopped at the door of the café and turning around blinked innocently at Jasmine: “Well? Aren’t you going to carry me through the door?”

Jasmine eyed Kris for a while thinking his comments over. First off she would probably never carry him around the Cubby or anywhere while he shopped. What would be next a diaper and baby bottle? Secondly she would never parade around on a stage like some kind of beauty pageant Barbie doll! Even if the comment wasn't directed toward her but just the thought of that made her feel slightly self concusses. Even know tons of other girls did that for a living to collect money but it just wasn't her thing. Leaning slightly more forward on the counter Jasmine looked up at Kris face her eye brew slightly arched. "What would you think if I rated you like that?" Jasmine asked straightening her back more and taking couple steps back turning her attention toward the purchased items.
Setting three Authors notebook and five Artist’s tablets in the very bottom of the bag Jasmine than put the three scented quills on top followed by a ring and four of the snakes. Trying to calcute the total amout of money Jasmine than heard Kris tell her he wanted one of a girl Quidditch figures. Puting on a smile Jasmine walked from behind the counter and back over where the Quidditch display was. "Blond hair, blue eyes must look innocent.." Jasmine told herself searching for the figure. Seeing it right on the top shelf she reached up for it turning around and walking back behind the counter. Setting the figure down by the snakes Jasmine than turned her attetnion back toward Kris as he told her his order for chocolates.
"Ten packs of chocolate mints....Five chocolate cherries and milk and dark chocolate creams....Assorted chocolate box without white chocolate....And a couple of packages of chocolate covered peanuts and raisins. Or did he want want four chocolate boxes without white chocolate and three packages of chocolate covered peanuts and rasins... Jasmine thought almost finished but soon was yanked by the elebow by Kris and dragged her after him. Stopping by where the tables stood Jasmine pulled back her arms from him slightly shocked he wanted her to carry him to a table.
Taking in a deep breath Jasmine walked closer to Kris picking him up birdal style while taking wobbley steps toward a table. "Well your not Mr. Feather-Weight yourself!" she told him trying to collect her blanace more so she didn't topled in any direction. Why was she doing this again? Seting Kris down by the table she pulled the chair out for him, "There you are. Now what else would you wont from the Cafe?" Jasmine asked ingoring the stares she got from people around her. Trying to be both professional and herself was hard.

Kris just blinked at Jasmine calmly: “If you rated me? I’d ask to know what rating I’d get. And why exactly you’d give me such rating? You do know that talking to yourself like you just did in front of the quidditch dolls is a sing of insanity?” Kris hadn’t really expected for Jasmine to pick him up. He had rather just wanted to see whether or not he could get a vein popping on her forehead. As the girl picked him up – very insecurely however – Kris shifted himself so Jasmine wouldn’t be able to pick him up bridal style. Kris wanted to land on his feet when the girl would fall. “Drop my and I’ll sue you, meaning you’ll be paying intresses to me for then next 50 years or so. And I’ll make sure you get fired from here,” Kris said turning calmly and walking away from the desk Jasmine had went to. Looking around the café Kris choose a table he liked and arched an eye-brow at Jasmine: “I want a proper table. Aren’t you going to pull the chair out for me?”
Kris tapped his fingers on the table looking at Jasmine coolly as she asked what he’d want to eat. Silence stretched while Kris’s eyes never faltered as he innocently arched two eye-brows: “What, no menu for me? And I expect suggestions what is good at this place and what isn’t.”
