Alyson walked around the village of hogsmeade. She liked it there. She rememered when she was little her grandpa toke her there. Now five years later she walked the same dirt path. On her way she hummed a jolly tune and stopped a shops to buy or look at merchindise. So far she has bought a sliver quill that wrote in in metallic silver. Two journals that toke the liking of her favorite smells. Vanilla. And another one that its pages smelled like apple pie. Thinking about pie and vannila Alyson relized she was hungry and she was pleased to see she was right infront of a new shop with a build in cafe. Alyson walked in. Her eyes instantly to the cafe.
Alyson toke a seat and studied the menu. Her ponytail tickled her neck every time she would move her head. Alyson lifted her ocean eyes from the menu. Hum... were her thoughts she was half intrested in eating and the other part of her to look at the items in the shop. She was very curios to find out what the store held. Alyson looked down at the menu and her right hand that wore her family herloom. Alyson looked down at it. She could feel her easy spirit slipping away. As if some one came and pulled the plug on her happiness. She felt a warm tear slip gently down her soft cheek. She brushed it away. She began to thhink about Taylor. Taylor was suppose to be her twin. The twin her parents did not want. her sister that she would never meet. Unless she found her. Unless she made a goal to find out about Talor as much as possible.
Alyson thoughts were inturpted. The person was standing in front of her. She had red hair and Alyson instantly knew it was Fiona. " Nice isn't it?" Alyson said starting up a conversation. It was Fiona how suggested they vist her grandfathers secert place. It was Fiona the only other human in the world that knew Alyson's ambisson to find Taylor.

Fiona trudged down the streets of Hogsmeade. It was unusually deserted, but most things had become like that after the Dark Lords return and the Death Eaters. Fiona smiled to herself. How she loved the destruction. She knew her path was to follow. She had been having second thoughts, but after her parents died not long ago things had come into perspective. She was to follow in her fathers footsteps. Her grandfather was going to make sure of that. She wasn't sure if he was still following her, but she at least knew that he had been. He had actually spoke to her not long ago and that had had its own rewards. She realized that she had to follow the Dark Lord. It was in her blood to follow him and she knew that nothing could stop her. Her father knew that and that's why he pushed her. Now she was going to make him proud. Give him something to smile about wherever he was.
Fiona made her way toward the Three Broomsticks, but when she reached the door she stopped. She didn't want to sit in there with half-breeds or mudbloods and that place was usually full of them. She started toward the Hogs Head, that at least would have a different crowd. Walking along the deserted streets Fiona stopped. She could have sworn she just saw a familiar face. Turning back to the window she noticed Alyson sitting inside Catalina's Cubby. She could at least have some good company if she went in there. Fiona debated for a few seconds before she opened the door and stepped inside. It was an interesting little store with a cafe. Fiona didn't hesitate too long at the door as she made her way to Alyson's table.
"It's been awhile. I haven't seen you in about two weeks, I think. A lot has happened in those two weeks. How has the search for Taylor been going?" Fiona asked quietly as she sat down across from Alyson and picked up a menu.

Fiona sat across her. She mentioned that they haven't seen or spoked in two weeks. Alyson nodded her head. It was true. For the last couple of weeks. Alyson tried to get as much info. on Talor as possible. All she managed to scrap up was that she was her twin and that her parets did not want Taylor. It took alot of poking and her parents did breakdown in the end. Her shocking discovery sent Alyson to shock at every mention. Her parents gave her some files. But Alyson wasn't quick on reading them. She refused to talk to anyone but Chev and Drake. Everything they knew about Taylor was the same as her. Fiona asked about her shearch on Taylor. " Yes its coming along just great. She was my twin. My only sister. And my parents gave her up. I am incomplete. I have to find her. She must be lost as well. She is my sister. And no sister of mine can't not be at hogwrats." Alyson spoke with a distracted voice.
The waitress came and Alyson odered a milkshake. She needed some choclate to ease her mind. She was goinng on a rollor coaster. When she was at the top. her spirits high. She was happy. She always came down. No deniel there. Looking up she fixed her gaze on fiona. " And you? What have you been up to?" Alyson asked with intrest. It was real intrest. Fiona was one of the few people who knew how she felt. These kind of people were worth her eyes and ears. She was a friend. Alyson's milkshake came and she piad the waitress 8 sickles. Her life was empty and she needed to share her emptyness with a friend.

"And you? What have you been up to?" Alyson asked Fiona. Fiona sighed. She hadn't shared too much with others. The Daily Prophet of course had rammed the topic into the ground. She remembered the looks she had gotten after the paper came out and they were looks of pity. Fiona didn't want to be pitied, she wanted to be envied. Fiona looked up at Alyson.
"I suppose you didn't read the Daily Prophet a couple weeks back? Well, my parents died. I'm leaving with my uncle and aunt in London. They're going to take care of me until I reach 17 and can officially inherit my families home and belongings," Fiona took a deep breath as she held back the tears. They had come so easily since her parents death. Mainly because she had watched it all happen. The green light that had hit her father and then her mother running off the cliff outside of their castle. If only her mother wasn't so protective, maybe she wouldn't have killed her father. Fiona cleared her mind as she continued to look down at her menu. She was unsure of what she wanted. She guessed she wasn't really that hungry and with that decision she put the menu down and looked around the store trying to avoid Alyson's eyes. Fiona knew the saying that 'eyes were the windows to the soul' and if that were true then Alyson would see the very horror that Fiona's soul was feeling. She didn't want to share that feeling with anyone, therefore she cast her eyes around looking for something of interest as she waited for Alyson's reaction to her summary of the summer break.

Sipping her milkshake thoughtfully. " No. I havn't been into reading it. But I heard bits and peices. I'm so shocked. And I'm not gonna give pity unless you want it." Alyson spoke carefully. She had to pick her words. She looked out the window. To her eyes were met by friends and families walking by. Sisters. Brothers. Alyson envied those people. They actully knew there siblings. She was looking forward to finding Taylor.
(( Sorry this is gonna be short. I gatta go.))

Fiona followed Alyson's gaze to the window. There were people walking by the window and Fiona got the feeling that Alyson was thinking about Taylor. "You know it's better to never know than to loose," Fiona said quietly as her eyes left the window. She knew from personal experience. She wished that she didn't know her parents at all, but then again she loved them while they were alive.
Fiona's mind flashed back to her home in Ireland. It was so beautiful and Fiona missed it. She loved looking out her window and seeing the sea crash against the cliff. The same cliff that my mother jumped off of. Fiona shook her head to get the thought out of her head. Would she ever like the sea again? Would she ever be able to return to Ireland? Fiona didn't know if she could.
"I was having so many problems with my father at the beginning of this break and I didn't want to be around my home at all, now I wish more than anything that I could just see them again. Do you understand? Is that how you feel about your Grandfather?" Fiona asked as she eyed Alyson carefully.

" Well alittle." Alyson replied to Fiona's coment about wanting to see that person more than anything. " I would give every thing to see my grandpa one more time. He actully died in the summer." Alyson said. Her thoughts were more on Taylor. They almost always were. She didn't care. She already sent a letter to all the orghanges in the country. She was ecpecting an anwser from them.
" Hey. Well I was reading into the ring. It turns out most of my family we in either Ravenclaw , Gryffindor , or Slytherin. I figure since we are pureblood family she has to be in Hogwarts. In either Slytherin , or Gryffindor. She's definally not in Ravenclaw. I checked. And priblly my year. My double image." Her voice was clear and hinting. " I was wonderig. If you could help me find her?" She asked?
She was smiling. Really hoping Fiona would say yes.

Fiona bit her bottom lip when Alyson asked her to help find Taylor. She was already so busy and her personal life was in shambles. How could she be expected to help find Alyson's twin. She didn't know anybody else who looked like Taylor and couldn't imagine actually running across anyone like Alyson. Things were getting out of hand this summer. So many things had happened and so many things were being asked of Fiona. It wasn't like she didn't want to help Alyson, after all she was her friend, one of the only ones. It was just that her emotional life was in no condition to help anyone not even herself. 'I can't tell her no. She's my friend. However, I'm in no condition to help anyone at the moment. I've been deeply hurt recently and it's hard to offer anyone my services,' Fiona thought to herself. She looked back out the window trying to stall. "It looks like it might rain," Fiona said cautiously. It was true, the sky had changed from the summer colours it had possessed to the dark blackened clouds that surrounded her heart. Fiona's eyes focused back on Alyson and she sighed as she reached her decision. "I'll do what I can to find Taylor. But my life has it's own problems right now and to tell you the truth I shouldn't be helping anyone, but myself right now. However, I promise I'll do what I can." Fiona looked down at the ring that was on her finger. Her family heirloom ring was now in the possession of the only living survivor of the O'Reilly family. Her mother's parents were alive, but they were not O'Reilly, they were Levin. Fiona did want to help Alyson find her twin and her resolve strengthened at the look on Alyson's face.

" Thank you. You may not know this but this means alot to me. I'll help you in whatever way I can. Seeing that we both lost family." Alyson's eyes sparkling with gratfullness. She meant every word of what she said.
She was thinking about how everyone was usally talking about the latest hottie at school. She was usally in the thick of it. Not this year. This year she was commited to finding Taylor. " I feel as if I ahve no family either. Thats true. I'm moving from my Parents house. Taking my money. My grandpa's inhertience. And my family's reponsiblities." Alyson said. She din't have a family. Not one member. No mom. No dad. No sister.
She got up. " Would you like to take a walk?" Alyson asked. She was getting funny looks from the other folks. She picked up her handbag. Her hair was on her shoulders. Her eyes were hopeful. She needed a freind. And even more Fiona needed a friend. " Fiona I know you need a friend right now." Alyson said holding out her hand.
She headed trourds the door. Looking back. her eys swept past the couples. families. And many other singles. Her eyes on Fiona. She lifted her eyes in question.

Fiona held back the tears that threatened to cascade down her face when Alyson talked about not having a family either. Her family was dead in her heart, but Fiona's was dead for reals. She could never go back to them if she got lonely. She appreciated Alyson's respect and she smiled when Alyson said Fiona needed a friend. If though she didn't want to admit it Alyson was right. Fiona needed a friend right now. She realized that she had one sitting with her. She forced a smile when Alyson got up to leave. Fiona didn't really feel like leaving Catalina's Cubby. She rather enjoyed the small shop.
Fiona reluctantly followed after Alyson. She didn't want to be rude and just tell her that she didn't want to go. Maybe by the look on her face Alyson would realize she just wanted to stay and shop around in the store. It would cheer her up more if they stayed there than if they went outside in the overcast day. She didn't need the rain that was sure to fall to soak her clothes. She took a fleeting glance back around the store and turned back to Alyson. "You don't think we could stay here for a while? I enjoy this place and I want to shop around a bit before we leave," Fiona said cautiously as she watched Alyson's face for a sign of her reaction.
((I think if we leave then we have to move our post to Hogsmeade. If we stay we can finish our post here and then start a new one in Hogsmeade. It's up to you. I really don't know what I'm talking about.))

(( Thats a great Idea.))
Wheb Fiona suggested they stay there. Alyson saw in her eyes that she din't feel like leaving. " Yeah. Lrts go to the shop." She relied. She played with her hair. Twirling it between the index finger.
She made her way to a couple of racks. She wnt over to see what they contained. She was looking at the scarfs. She was wanting to get herself one. A little bit of gold caught her eye. She turned around. It was gone. She must have imagined it. Or not. It doesn't nessisarly mean that it was Taylor.
She went back to looking at the scarfs.
A few moments later she was holding a scarf and a stuffed lion in her hand. Even though she was in Ravenclaw. She loved the lion. It was a strong creature. Bold and beautiful. She admired their courage. As she also admired the Gryffindors.
She looked around for Fiona. Were was she? She shrugged her shoulder. Continuing to look for her.

Fiona walked over to the journal section. She had had a feeling that her uncle was reading her journal. She didn't have a place that he couldn't find in her room like she used to in Ireland. Fiona looked over the journal. It wasn't supposed to allow anyone else to read it once you started writing in it. She wondered if it really worked. it wasn't supposed to open for anyone but herself. She looked at the price: 1 galleon. Fiona sat the journal back down on the shelf. Maybe she'd think about getting it later. She wanted to shop, but her mood was still on the down side like it normally was.
A steady pound on the window made Fiona turn. It was raining outside. She was glad that they had decided to stay inside. Her mood would have been thoroughly depressing if she had gotten wet.
Fiona moved to the Quidditch section of the store and smiled at the little figurines of some of the famous Quidditch players. A small one of Victor Krum was practicing his famous move. Fiona smiled, but turned from the display to find Alyson. She wasn't sure where she had ended up. Quickly spotting her Fiona approached her. "Anything interesting?" Fiona asked.

As Alyson whelled around she was faced by a familier face. Fiona's. She sighed with relief. She did not want to be alone in this store. She was asked if she found so thing intresting. She smilied. " Of course. I do love to shop. I found this scarf." She said as she showed Fiona her Ravenclaw scarf. " And a lion." She showed her the female lion she found. " I adore lions. They remind me of my self. Most of the time." She did ot know why but she felt she said too much. She blushed. " Umm you?" She asked numly.
Alyson simlied as she walked to the conter with her things. She put down five galleons and a sickle. From her pink bag that went with her white skirt and pink shirt under her black robes.
She picked her stuff and put it in bag so when they went ouside it would not get- Shejust relized it was pouring down. " Oh my. Its raining again." She sighed with a groan
" Guess were stuck here." Alyson said as she stroud back to the cafe. She toke a seat at the same table. She toke when she first sat down there.

"There are some interesting things around. I like the journals, but I'm not really ready to buy anything," Fiona smiled as she looked back at the journals. She shrugged as she turned back to Alyson. Alyson was ready to pay for her merchandise and Fiona turned back to look out the window.
The rain seemed to be coming down even harder than it had before and it was enough to make Fiona wonder if she'd ever get out of Hogsmeade today. "Just noticed the rain did ya? It's pouring outside. It'll be awhile before we're actually able to get out of here," Fiona sighed as she continued to stare out the window.
Alyson left her side and walked toward the table Fiona had first seen her at. Fiona followed behind her as she led the way. Fiona thought about something they could talk about, but nothing seemed appropriate in a place like this. They could be overheard at any moment and Fiona didn't want to risk it.

Sitting down. Alyson glanced out the window. Its was pouring down. Every drop fell peacefully to the earth. The window was covered in raindrops. Rain reminded her of something she read that week in her grandfathers journal. ' I sit in my study. It is raining again. But nothing can get me down. For I have a gift from god in my lap. She is so tiny. I never had a daughter. She is my were my heart lies.'
Alyson smiled to her self. She snapped back to reality. " Hey so. Have you got your school stuff yet?" Alyson asked. She herself hasn't. She was goinng with her grandparents. They were Aurors they were there for her safety.

Fiona was staring out the window. The rain was depressing even though there was a time she used to like it, but ever since the loss of her parents things were too horrible to think about. She didn't want to think about her mother jumping off that cliff, but not before she murdered Fiona's dad. Tears came to her eyes as the rain fell against the ground outside. It was how she felt on the inside, but she didn't want people to know that. She didn't want people to feel sorry for her or to offer their sympathy. Sympathy was a waste of time and for all she could care could go away. I'll prove to you one day Da that I can be the most powerful witch the world has ever seen! Fiona had been making that promise ever since his death. She wanted to make him proud of her, wherever he was. She wanted to be the greatest witch of the world. Most of all she wanted to serve the Dark Lord just as her father before her and her grandparents. They were true followers and she admired them for that.
Fiona returned to reality when Alyson interrupted her thoughts. "Huh?" she asked as she looked over. "Oh, no I haven't gotten my school supplies yet. I will be getting them sometime soon, I'm not really sure when. My uncle wants to take me. He thinks it's not safe for me. I think it's ridiculous since there isn't a Death Eater out there that would want to attack me," Fiona said without trying to be modest in the least. She was proud of her ancestors who had chosen to be Death Eaters. She wished that she was one right now, but she would wait until she was of age. "That sucks that you have to wait for your grandparents. They're Aurors?" Fiona asked with disgust. She had little respect for those that fought against the Dark Lord especially Aurors.

Alyson noticed the disgust at the mention of her grandparents. With a raised eyebrow Alyson choose her words carefully. '' No. Not no more. Their retired. And if your gonna ask. I'm not on a side. Let them fight." Alyson said. Her voice on the angery side. She hated to be to be like that.
She looked over at the window. Before Fiona could dhe her anger. Fighting was terriblbe. She blamed the Romans.

Fiona raised an eyebrow at Alyson when she said 'Let them fight.' She didn't realize that they were all at war. That it was a choice that she'd need to make sooner or later. Two sides that you couldn't just sit upon the middle waiting to see who came out on top. No, this was everyone's war. Fiona knew her side, had always really known it. She couldn't wait to be fighting for her side. Her idol was out there right now, doing just that. She looked up to Bellatrix Lestrange. A woman who seemed so close to the Dark Lord. Fiona would give anything to meet her. To see her face to face and ask her how Fiona could become a Death Eater. She had seen her once. It was when she had attacked the students in the Student Lounge. The day that she had had second thoughts about her side. The day that made her argue with her father.
Fiona followed Alyson's gaze out the window. It seemed to be getting worse outside and Fiona sighed. The conversation between the two of them was treading on thin ice. She didn't understand how Alyson could possibly think that she would never have to choose a side. Sooner or later she would have to and Fiona hoped she would make the right decision, because it would be hard for Fiona to break off their friendship if she chose the wrong side. "You know you'll have to choose a side someday. The world will demand it of you. What will you do when that day comes? You can run from it, but you can never hide from it. It'll be just as persistent as you are to find Taylor," Fiona said as she looked back at her friend. She hoped Alyson wouldn't be angry by her comment, but instead hoped she would take it to heart.

Tears came to her eyes at the mention of Taylor's name. " I can't make a decision. Not if every one expects one. When I'm ready. The decision will be made." Alyson said. Her eyes on the window. In her own reality she was walking side by side of her double vision. The girl in the mirror. The were walking side by side laughing. The war was over. It din't say that. But she had a feeling. It was sunny and she saw famlies and friends. A world she belonged to. The world she wanted.
Rubbing her forehead she turned to Fiona. " You can't imagian what I have to go through. This is not a 'I'm a princess what should I wear decision.' This is hard for me." Alyson said. She was pleading in her eyes that Fiona would change the subject.

Fiona didn't feel like giving in. She didn't want Alyson to become one of those people that never choose sides. She didn't want Alyson to choose something else over the right decision. Fiona sighed. 'I can't imagine what you're going through?' Did she think she was the only one hurting? Did she think she was the only one missing a part of herself? "You don't understand, do you? I'm just as lonely as you are. You didn't have to see your parents die. You didn't have to make a decision based upon your life. I made my decision because I was facing death. You'll face it too one of these days and then you'll have to decide. You'll have to decide your own destiny," Fiona said as she stood. She was beginning to get hot and the place felt stuffy. She just needed a quick breath of fresh air. "Alyson, I'll see you later. I have to go. My uncle's probably wondering where I got to. Good luck on your search for Taylor," Fiona said hastily as she collected herself and moved away. "Maybe I'll see you in Diagon Alley later," Fiona said. She was more upset than she was earlier, but it wasn't all of Alyson's fault. Fiona had pushed the subject and Fiona glanced up at Alyson's pleading eyes. Alyson didn't deserve such depressing company.
Fiona pulled her hood up over her red hair as she made her way to the door. The door opened and the wind rushed throughout the store causing people to stare in her direction with looks of outrage. 'Whatever,' Fiona thought as she stepped into the rain and slammed the door. She didn't look back as she continued down the streets of Hogsmeade. She'd take the Floo Network back home instead of the Knight Bus. Besides she was tired of that blasted bus. The rain pelted her as she walked down the street and warm tears ran down her cheeks. 'I'll make you proud Da. I'll make you proud.'
((I kind of ended it here. Fiona wasn't in the best of moods for this post. She really wanted to press the subject of choosing sides and I figured Alyson didn't really deserve Fiona's depressing rage. Let's do another post sometime. ;D))
