Adi Grayton sat alone at in a small corner at Catalina's Cubby. She was wearing a red button up shirt and her favorite pair of overalls. She had just walked in and found a seat and pulled out a notebook. Ahhh...relaxing. It feels so much like Hogwarts here. I can just sit back and relax and write , she thought. She rested her arm on the table and began to write a story. Her stomach began growling loudly. I wonder when someone will come and ask me what I'd like to order? I could sure use a cinnamon roll and some chocolate milk..., she thought.

Pansy pushed past a group of 3rd years who were slowly walking through the snow on their way to Hogsmeade, her long fur coat gently rustling the snow on the ground. She had finished her last class for the term, that is to say she would not be showing up at any more classes this term. Naturally she found herself bored and none of the others had been in the common room so she left a note for them that she'd be down in Hogsmeade. The streets of Hogsmeade were rather busy as Diagon Alley had just opened, yet most people seemed to be quite content to simply do their shopping here instead.
Pansy stepped into several shops looking for some sort of entertainment but found only adults. As she progressed down the street she began to smell cinnamon rolls and she soon found herself standing in front of that Cubby store. Through the windows she could see quite a few little kids, the perfect entertainment for a cold winter's day.
Immediately upon entering she was greeted by some stupid Hufflepuff who was smiling happily at her and asking if she needed any help. Pansy glared at the girl before pushing her aside and walking further into the store. Here and there little kids ran about but most seemed to be accompanied by a parent. Straight to the counter Pansy went before order a mug of hot butterbeer. Her eyes scanned the scenery briefly before she found something that looked entertaining, a little Gryffindork had just come in! Much like a predator stalking it’s prey, Pansy made her way around behind the girl and walked up behind her as she turned to leave a table. “Going somewhere?” Pansy said to the girl with a grin while she took another sip of butterbeer.

‘Damn professors assigning homework over the break. What type of sadism was that? Honestly!’ Millicent thought as she tromped through the halls pushing anything and anyone that got in her way aside. A little Ravenclaw then dropped a book in front of her and Millicent kicked him in the stomach as he bent down to collect it. After walking right over him none of the other students dared allow themselves anywhere near the seventh year Slytherin Queen’s path. The first years quivered and shock as they pressed themselves as close to the wall as possible not daring to say but quite obviously thinking of all the terrible things they had heard about Millicent Bulstrode. Normally this behaviour made her smirk with satisfaction but today she was just too revolted to notice. Winter break was a time for rest – not a time for essays. As she entered the common room Millicent tossed her assignment into the fire and smirked as she watched it burn away into nothing but black ash – sure she would have to take someone else’s copy but for now she felt slightly better.
Millie finally slipped her bag off her shoulder as she dropped into a plush green chair by the cracking fire. It was warm and toasty as a sheet of paper on a table nearby caught her eye. Wondering who would have left something behind like that just waiting to be looked through Millicent rose from her seat leaving the bag behind. Unfolding the note she saw it was to herself and the other Queens from Pansy. Apparently she was already on her way to Hogsmead.
Millicent placed her schoolbag in the seventh year’s dorm and picked up her purse in its stead. She then threw on a heavy winter outdoor cloak over her Slytherin uniform and walked back out of the common room. Rather than heading to the Great Hall as many students seemed to be doing Millicent swung open the large oak front doors and stepped out into the cold and crunchy snow. She shivered and puller her gloves tight around her fingers. She followed the well-known and rather worn path away from the school all the way to the nearby village.
The crowd was rather large with people bustling about apparently holiday shopping as Millicent stepped onto the main streets. Not having eaten since lunch Millie decided that a snack of blueberry pancakes was in order along with a Jasmine tea. The nearest place was that “cubby” run by their old head girl – a Ravenclaw. As she stepped into the shop though a family voice rang through the crowd and Millicent smirked – Pansy had that well known tone. Silently Millie slipped in nearby to watch the show without making her presence known to either Pansy of the young girls whom she had been addressing.

Solitaire had finished her work early and had decided to take a trip into Hogsmeade. She was bored, and had yet to make many friends, not that she cared if she did. It could be just as much fun to torture the smaller children as it could be to befriend them. Heading toward the Common Room from the Library she had noticed Millicent Bulstrode picking on some of the first years. Solitaire couldn't help but laugh at what had happened. Stupid first years, she thought, they should know to stay out of the older students way by now. She laughed at her own thoughts.
Solitaire didn't spend much time in the common room, taking long enough to change out of her robes, and into a pair of black jeans, and a black sweater with green trim, she dropped her bag, stuffed some money into her pocket, and grabbed her favorite coat. It was a long, green suede jacket that she had been given just before her trip here this year. She exited the Common Room, and headed for the exit.
Making her way out of the castle and into the cold, Solitaire discovered that she wasn't the only person who had the idea to leave the castle. It almost seemed everyone able to go was leaving. As she started down the path, she hoped to make it into the village without being bothered by someone who thought they knew her just because they were in the same bloody house that she had been crammed in by that stupid hat. Walking at a fairly brisk pace, she noticed that some foolish git had fallen from wearing the wrong shoes. Do these younger kids get more stupid every year? she thought to herself, as she politely stepped on the third year's hand, instead of helping her up. When the girl yelled, Solitaire just smiled. What did she care, she wasn't the one whose hand was now throbbing from someone else's black three inch heel. She finally began to see the entrance to the village.
As Taire entered the village, she remembered that she hadn't eaten anything this morning, so that she could get her work done earlier. She started looking for somewhere that might prove to be entertaining, and would also have something descent to eat. She noticed that there was some excitement coming from the Cubby. She eased her way in to see what was going on. Standing back she noticed a couple of older Slytherin girls that she instantly recognized as Pansy Parkinson and Millicent Bulstrode. Standing up against a wall, she wondered what was going on. Taire decided to just stand back and watch.

Millie stepped out – seemingly from the woodwork – when the kid asked what it looked like. Smirk on her face Millicent’s mind swarmed with responses – did the child really underestimate Pansy so severely? She had no choice – it was just too easy – she had to step in. “What does it look like? It looks like an itty bitty Gryffindor is getting scared and defensive at the sight of a big bad Slytherin. Now how would Godrick feel about that? I thought your house was supposed to be known for having hero complexes? But then you certainly don’t seem to be out to save the world – but you do not seem willing to defend your own name either. It honestly looks like you are preparing to tuck your tail in between your legs and run like a dog.” Millicent said with a smirk before flipping her wand at a random chair. The seat dumped its current occupant and came flying beside Millie so she could sit on it facing the pair. She had turned seventeen on the eleventh of November and was now using her right to perform magic outside the school to the fullest.
“Of course you never know” Millicent went on, “your house’s foolishness may not be completely absent in you. I certain hope it’s not at least because watching any and all Gryffindor smugness being removed from your eyes slowly but surely will be quite an amusing sight. Trust me when I say – watching Gryffindor’s lose what they always thought of as their defining traits is quite a satisfying experience.”

Pansy grinned as the girl tried to play it off and brush past her. That sort of thing wouldn’t work and Pansy quickly sidestepped to once more stand directly in front of the Gryffindork. She was all set to have at her when Millicent came up and joined them. Pansy grinned while Millicent responded to the girl’s weak reply. Pansy took a step back while Millicent went at the girl and took in the surroundings, several shoppers were going here and there but none seemed to notice them. That is all except one girl who seemed to be staring at them, a girl who appeared to be a Hufflepuff.
“Enjoying the show are you?” Pansy shrieked to the girl. Quickly finishing off her hot butterbeer, Pansy slammed the mug down on the table and took a few steps toward the Hufflepuff, “Beat it! This doesn’t concern you and I suggest you move along if you know what’s in the best interest of your well being.”

Almost instantly Taire knew that the two Queens were doing their magnificent work and tormenting the younger students. Suddenly she caught her self staring in awe at the greatness of the two Slytherins. She tried to shake it off before it got noticed, but for some reason she couldn't.She didn't know what had come over her, but in some mysterious way, she longed to be able to join the two Queens in their noble attack against the stupid Gryffindor girl. That stupid girl. She shouldn't have snapped back at Pansy like that. How pathetic, but very Gryffindor like. Still Pansy and Millicent will tear her apart easily. Taire thought to herself as she watched.
Suddenly, she noticed that her staring had been spotted by Pansy, and Pansy was now yelling at her and moving toward her. Solitaire curtsied as Pansy stopped speaking. " I do sincerely apologize for staring. I for some reason couldn't help but to admire the work of two of the Queens of Slytherin. If I could only be so lucky as to be joining you in your torment of that stupid young mudblood. How dare her snap back at you like that. Her lack of respect for you and Millicent is appalling. How can she not know greatness when it's presence is standing right in front of her." Taire didn't take her eyes off of Pansy as she spoke. She knew that might mislead Pansy into thinking that Solitaire was just trying to weasel her way out of getting trapped in the torment. Deep down, if Taire must be tormented she would be honored for it to have Pansy and Millicent as her tormentors
