Visit to the Cubby ((Flo & Any Cubby Employees))

"Bye mum!" Hayden called over her shoulder, as her mother went to do a bit of shopping, leaving Hayden to get a quick lunch at a nice looking place called: Catalina's Cubby. She had heard about it a bit, but not much. Her older brother had told her that a Ravenclaw graduate, named Catalina had just opened this shop once she had graduated from Hogwarts. Ian had told her that sold great food, and items as well! Hayden was very excited as she walked inside the building, but then again, Hayden was always excited.

The place was busy, but not too busy, which was good because Hayden wouldn't get lost in the crowds. The place also had a very cozy and nice feeling to it, and Hayden already loved it! She browsed around at the Quidditch apparel and stuffed animals for a bit, and decided that she wanted everything! Ian was right, they had very nice items for sale. However, she only had a little bit of money, enough to pay for a nice lunch, and maybe a few extra items.

She looked around at a few magazines and books, and decided that she wanted a very interesting Quidditch book, that didn't cost much. She sat down at one of the tables, and began to skim through the book a bit. She figured that while she waiting for a waiter or waitress to assist her, she could look at the book, and then, when she paid for her food, she could pay for the book as well. She really hoped that it was OK, if not, then she would just do as someone who works there would say.

Flo was looking all over Hogsmeade. She had been to Zonkos and bought a ton of dung bombs. she was hoping to set them off on her brother. As she went out of the shop she realized the new shop across the road was open. Everyone was talking about it, so Flo thought she should have a look inside.

As she walked in the shop, Flo first reaction was wow! The color, the food! the stuffed toys! Flo made a bee-line straight for the stuffed toys.She love them. about a thousand were in her room, most of them she won. Straight away, Flo noticed a Toy Pygmy Puff. "Ooh" Flo cried. She had always wanted a real one, but she wasnt allowed since she had a cat. She picked it up and looked at the price. Yes! she thought. I can get it!

About to go to the counter to get the toy, Flo found she was hungry. so she bought a sandwich. As she turned around, Flo saw there were no empty tables. And the only table was pre-occupied by a small girl. Flo sighed and walked up to the girl. "Hi, is this seat taken?" Flo pointed to the seat and hoped that the girl would say yes. Flo had her " It's nice to meet you" smile on.

Hayden looked up from the book that she was looking through, when she heard a voice up above her. It was an older girl, that she had never met before, but then again, she didn't know mot of the people that she met in Diagon Alley. "No, it's not. Go ahead, I don't mind." Hayden said, with a smile. "I'm Hayden Hinson! I'm going to Hogwarts next year, do you go there by any chance? I would like to be sorted into Hufflepuff when I go to Hogwarts, because that's the house that my mum and my older brother Ian is in." she babled on.

She looked back down at the book, and began to skim through it, waiting for the girl to answer her questions. "Do you like Quidditch?" she asked curiously, getting a bit more excited. "Do you play Quidditch? I really would like to try out for my house team, when I go to Hogwarts!" she finished, with a wide smile.

The girl had said the chair wasn't taken, so Flo sat down. The girl said her name was Hayden Hinson, and was going to Hogwarts later in the year. Hayden asked if Flo goes to Hogwarts or not. "I'm Flo. Yeah i go to Hogwarts. I'm in Hufflepuff, like my mum and dad. It usually goes in families, so I'm sure you'll get in Hufflepuff if you Parents were in there. Just a little advice: Don't be scared when you get called to be sorted. I was so scared, i fell of the stool!"

Flo laughed and looked at the cover of the book that Hayden was reading a Quidditch book. Hayden must have seen Flo looking at the book because she asked all these questions about it. Whoa, this girl is hyper! Flo thought. She didn't mind though. She was a bit hyper herself. "No i don't play Quidditch, not really my thing, Flying. No, but I am head captain for the Hufflepuff Cheer Squad." Flo said answering the talkative girls Questions.

"So, have you gotten all of your school books yet?" Flo asked, while playing with the toy Pygmy Puff in her hands. "i haven't gotten all mine, so my mum's taking me to Diagon Ally later. Have you ever been there?" Flo asked, still playing with the Pygmy Puff.

The girl introduced herself as Flo, and said that she was a Hogwarts student, and was in Hufflepuff, and Hayden smiled. Flo then said that Hayden shouldn't be afraid when she gets sorted. Flo said that she was so afraid and nervous, that she had fallen off of the stool! Hayden giggled and said, "You silly! Although, I might fall off the stool as well, but not because I would be nervous or afraid, but because I would be very excited and hyper!" she finished with a broad smile.

Flo then said that she didn't play Quidditch, but she was captain of the cheerleading squad, of Hufflepuff. "Wow! That's really neat as well!" exclaimed Hayden. "Maybe that's what I should do, when I get to Hogwarts, but then again, I think that I'd like to play Quidditch as well! I think that it was what I was destined to do! No, wait, actually I was destined to figure skate! I love figure skating, and I'd like to try to become the first witch to be a gold medal Olympian, in figure skating. I would also like to try to start a wizarding figure skating program when I get older." she said, with yet another wide and sincere smile.

Flo smiled at Hayden. She was really nice. "figure skating? thats a muggle sport right? The only good muggle sport i can do is Gymnastics. I'm really good at it." Flo took a bite of the sandwich she bought. Flo was thinking about gymnastics. All the twists and turns and tumbling called cartwheels. Flo was the best at the balancing beam, where you do flips and try to balance on a long, thin piece of wood on top of metal stands. "As for the cheer leading squad, not to disappoint you, but i think you can only join if your in third year, unless your really good at it. And I mean, really really good. but hey, maybe you'll get a place in the Quidditch team, and I'll be cheering for you!" Hoping not to upset Hayden, about the cheer squad, Flo took a bite of sandwich. Yummy!

Hayden's face saddened just a bit, when Flo asked her if figure skating was a muggle sport. "Yeah..." she replied. "I wish it was a wizarding sport too though, because I really love it, and going to Hogwarts means that I won't be able to do it as often, as I'd like to." She then remembered that Flo had said that she liked to do gymnastics. "Hmm... well, I don't really know much about that sport, but my friend, she's a muggle, so she lives back in the muggle world, like me. Anyway though, she takes gymnastics, and I think that it's pretty neat, what she does."

Hayden shrugged when Flo said that cheerleaders could only be third years and up. "That's fine." she said simply. "Quidditch will be my thing. Well, when I get to my second year, then I'll try out." she said with a smile. "Hang on for a second. I'll be right back." Hayden said, holding up her hand, and then going up to the contour that sold food and everything else. She picked up a slice of pumpkin pie, and a glass of ice water. She handed the employee the coins that were needed in order to pay for her food.

She walked back to the table, that her and Flo occupied, a slice of pumpkin pie and her ice water in hand. She sat down, and looked to Flo. She took a bit of her pie, and she smiled. She had asked for extra whipped cream on it. She was supposed to get a lunch, but this would substitute fine. "So, umm... what were we talking about?"

Flo smiled at Hayden. She is really nice. Flo thought. When Hayden told Flo that she had a muggle friend who did gymnastics, Flo wondered if she knew her. "Really? whats her name. i might know her." Flo asked. Flo had many muggle friends, and most of them were from her gymnastics team. As Hayden shrugged about not being able to try for cheerleading, Flo laughed. "Well I'm sure you will do great for your Quidditch try outs." Flo watched as Haden excused herself and went to get a pumpkin pie. Then when Hayden came back, she asked what they were talking about. Flo luaghed. "Uhh, we were talking about Quidditch. So do you get to play it when your at home?"
