Elle walked into Catalina's Cubby Cafe, carrying a rather large shopping bag, filled with her school robes as well as two dress robes for the fall term at Hogwarts. Her arms were aching, as she had to hold them up and stand on a stool for the whole morning while the witch at Gladrag's Wizard Wear made her robes. She had accidentally stuck herself with a pin seven times that day.
Right away, Elle sat down at the nearest table, which happened to be a large booth, feet also tired from the excessive standing she had to bear that entire morning. Stilettos really weren't the best for standing on stools all day, and seeing as she couldn't move without being pricked by half a dozen pins, Elle couldn't take them off and stand barefoot. She inwardly scolded herself for choosing such a dreadful outfit for a robe-fitting appointment. Her stilettos had made her feet sore, and her jeans had made it very hot and itchy under the robes, especially when the winter robes were being made. Also, her ruffle tee had gotten stuck on a hanger on more than one occaision as she was trying on the dress robes.
She bent over and put her wavy hair into a ponytail, which she also couldn't do during the fitting, securing it with an elastic hair band. Then, Elle brushed a loose strand out of her face and looked at the cafe menu. She decided to get a chicken sandwich, minus the mustard, olives, pickles, and onions, and a mocha on the rocks. Maybe if she had any money left, she would get a churro and a lollipop for Katie, since her little sister had been whining all week that Elle hadn't bothered to buy her a present when she came home from Hogwarts.
You'd think a Christmas and a birthday present would be enough, Elle thought somewhat crossly. Then she looked around, seeing someone enter, but not paying them mind, and looking back down at her menu, thinking, where are the blasted waiters? I'm hungry!
She reminded herself to be patient, and regained her composure, complete with a sweet smile, making dimples form on her cheeks, and she looked up and decided afterall to inquire upon who had entered the cafe.

Blake had been school shopping again or at lest that’s what his parents thought. He told them that he forgot a few school supplies when he first went to Hogsmeade and they let him back out. His grandma saw right thought him but she just laughed and handed him a few coins saying to buy something nice. He just smiled and hugged his grandma then left. Now his here in Hogsmeade with some money left and didn't know what to do. He then looked over and saw a nice little store and he didn't notice before. ” Never say that place before." Blake thought to himself. Blake walked around to a few more shops. Blake bought a few things from a joke shop and another book this on defensive, protective and offensive spells and charms. He already had one but he had learned most of the spells in that book. This book had a lot more he didn't know.
Blake had started to read some of the spells in the store till the owner asked if he was just going to read it or by it. Blake walked out with his new book and looked back over at Catalina's Cubby. "Well I am kind of hungry." He said thinking out loud. He walked over and opened the door then walked in. He walked passed all the tables and booths. He had learned in his life it's faster to walk to the counter for food then waiting for a waiter. Blake looked over the tables and saw a girl with red hair reading a menu. Blake didn't feel like waiting any longer, no one was at the counter and they didn't seem to be coming soon. Blake walked over the girl sitting down. " Mind if I join you?" He said looking down at the girl.

Elle looked up from her menu. It was a boy, probably from Hogwarts and who looked a couple years older than herself that had walked in. No one interesting, she thought to herself, and glanced back down, waiting for a waitress to take her order. When Blake had walked over and asked to join her, Elle was somewhat startled. Then, again she regained her composure and motioned to the seat across the table with a smile.
Elle was a rather social person, and usually couldn't stand being alone. Of course, she couldn't take any of her muggle friends to Hogsmeade for her robe shopping, and most of her magical friends' parents were too scared to let them out of the house, due to the Diagon Alley attacks. Elle thought this notion was rather silly. I mean, you have as much of a chance of being attacked at home as you do here, she thought, so why not enjoy life a little. She was sure the war would only get worse, and while it was still okay to walked around freely, she thought, why not do so?
"Sure," Elle said, "Why don't you join me for lunch, seeing as I'm all alone. I could use some company. I'm Elle, and assuming that you go to Hogwarts, I'm a 3rd year Ravenclaw."
She looked out the window, admiring what a beautiful day it was. Afterall, she had spent the whole morning cooped inside Gladrags being poked and prodded during her school robe fitting, which had left her in a somewhat sour mood. Now though, it lifted and changed into a rather happy mood.
"Where are those blasted waiters?" Elle thought outloud, looking around to see them rushing around carrying food to a full cafe. Hmmm...she thought silently, Catalina's Cubby is turning out to be rather successful.

She seemed a little shocked he asked to sit down and to tell the truth it kind of was. Blake sat down after she motioned him to sit down. "I'd be glad to join you. I was going to get lunch anyway." Blake said grabbed a menu he was going to get a ham sandwich anyway but maybe they had something better. After he scanned the menu he was still going to get a ham sandwich. "I'm Blake , fifth year Gryffindor." Blake said with a smile wishing it was school again so he could do some magic without getting in trouble. Blake put back down the menu. Blake looked out the window it was a nice day, you could even pick out a few of the guards that were put in Hogsmeade incase of an attack. They were much taller then anyone else and looked all serious. Then he looked back to Elle when she asked where a waiter was. "Probably in the backroom doing something not work related." Blake said laughing thinking of the things someone could be going.
Blake looked down because he just remembered he didn't have his book but found it right next to him. Blake just laughed thinking how stupid that was. "Well we could always stall for time." Blake said looking back out the window. "If you can spot three guard I'll buy you some of the sweets they got here." Blake said laughing, from how many he could count there was five out the window in different spots, some moving. Blake had a lot of money left so he could spare some.

Elle smiled as the older boy sat down, "The only people I wouldn't allow to join me at lunch are those disgusting Slytherins. They treat me like dirt just because I'm muggleborn."
She rolled her eyes, and then scanned the room, looking for those blasted employees. When Blake spoke about what they could be doing, she laughed.
"Yeah, you'd think they'd put some kind of spy camera in there or something, so they can watch over what they do in there, make sure they keep on task."
Then Blake began to talk about the guards.
"No thanks," she said, "I just bought some sweets at Honeydukes the other day. But I do spot three guards. One behind a few bushes, one being a plainclothes, and one behind a tree. Why do they hide anyway?"
She then turned to her menu, making sure she really wanted what she was going to order. Then, she noticed Blake's book, and, trying to make small talk, asked, "What book is that?"
Elle sat, with her arms crossed in a casual manner, waiting for his answer, and looking around for a waitress.
OOC: Sorry it took so long. Writer's block blows.

Blake just laughed when she talked about Slytherins, it was true they all seemed to be that way. Then she didn't want any sweets which He was a little glad the first time he used all his money his mom thought he wasted it and maybe that would have counted as wasting it. Then she found three and asked why they were hiding. "Well I think the ministry didn't tell them to hide I think they did it themselves." He said looking at one of the guards that was easy to spot. "I think they just don't to cause more panic then is already going around." He said looking back at her. Then she said something about a spy camera to watch the people who worked here.
"That is a smart Idea but I guess the owner trusts her workers." He said still looking around. "Maybe a little to much." He said as he looked around. After she saw him look for his book she asked what it was. "It's just a book on different times of spells. Most of them offensive and defensive spells." He said looking at the cover of the book and you could tell it was new. "I just got it, I had another book just like it but I learned most of the spells in that one. This one has all new ones spells." He said wishing he was in Hogwarts to try and start learning them.
(OOC: I'll trade a hurricane and power being out for writers block anyday. ;D )
