Bill Weasley walked down the streets of Hogsmeade with a smile on his face. He had just dropped Fleur off at her house after a long afternoon at the lake, and he was now in the mood to find her something lovely. Maybe a necklace, or an expensive bottle of perfume. He wasn't good at things like this, and he almost always messed it up. One time, he had bought her a pink silk handkerchief only to find out she didn't use them, and then he bought her a diamond tennis bracelet to find out that she was allergic to gold. Walking past a new shop, Catalina's Cubby, he walked past the window of Jacoby's Jewelry. Shiny baubles glistened in the light, and he sighed. He wished he could afford something like this, but living on your own was hard. Not only did he have to pay the rent on an apartment, but the had to pay most of the utilities. Unfortunately, Bill h ad a muggle landlord who stipulated in his lease that he had to keep all utilities. He was surprised that the landlord didn't notice he didn't use electricity, a phone, or a car.
Kicking the dirt up with his trainers, he walked away from the store window, hoping that he could afford one of the diamonds in the window for Fleur one day. Turning around, he headed back into Catalina's Cubby and opened the door. The smells of the bakery overwhelmed his senses. Hogwart's students were laughing and smiling as they shopped throughout the store. It seemed like every corner overflowed with Gryffindor Red, Hufflepuff Yellow, Ravenclaw Blue, and Slytherin Green. Walking over to a stand of shirts, he pulled a Gryffindor t-shirt that proudly displayed the house crest. Smiling broadly, he grabbed a basket and put the shirt in it. A stand of chocolates caught his eye, and he decided that would be the perfect gift for his girlfriend. Of course, with his luck, he would find out that she was allergic to chocolate. Picking up the box, he picked out an older looking girl to ask her opinion. " Um, excuse me, I know this might sound wierd, but do you think you would like these? I'm shopping for my girlfriend and I'm having a hard time picking a gift."
