Three Broomsticks ((Mandi G5 ))

Rosaliz was wearing her nice, laced, white skirt with her white and black cowgirl boots. She had on a black t-shirt and on top of it she wore a white thin jacket. She had her golden-blonde tresses in the two cutest-looking ponytails. Her fair complexion accentuated with her hazel colored eyes. They had a distinctive bit of blue in them as well. Which matched well with her fair light skin.
Rosaliz sat in her a bench outside Hogsemade right across from the Three Broomsticks. She felt the sun pant down on her face, as if it was trying to give her skin some color. She sat there looking around watching other people walk by. Hogsmeade seemed quite crowed than usual, lots of mobs of people. Rosaliz was going to get ready to enter the Three Broomsticks, but was afraid that her feet wouldn’t allow. Her legs felt stiff and heavy, and her feet were tired from walking some much. She then stood up. She tried to make her way threw the crowd. She made her way threw the crowd and opened the door, of the Three Broomsticks. The spot was empty to her surprise. She then accidentally bumped into a girl, who was much taller. She recognized her, from Hogwarts. She was in her same house a fifth year to be exact. “Sorry Mandi, I didn’t see where I was going. Since I'm here talking to you, how’s your summer so far?” she asked with a big grin on her face.

Mandi sat reading a book in the Three Broomsticks. Like usual it was her first stop when she came to Hogsmeade. A Buttebeer and then off to go shopping. Usually her father would come, but today he was off on business. She came by Floo Powder and she was slightly covered in dirt. She didn't really care though. She wasn't expecting to run into her future husband so she didn't really care. She smiled at her own cleverness. She scolded herself for letting her mind wander and she looked back down at her book. "Transfiguring yourself will be difficult and more than likely result in failure the first thousand times," Mandi read. 'Great,' she thought as she smiled. 'It's good to know that I'll fail the first thousand times I try to colour my eyebrows green.'

Mandi smiled to herself as she took a deep drink of her Butterbeer finishing the bottle. 'I guess it's time to look around,' she thought as she shut her book and shoved it into her bag that she had brought. Getting up she smiled to the people she passed. She was almost to the door when someone ran into her. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't see you," Mandi smiled apologetically as she looked down into a familiar face. "Rosaliz! Hi! My summer is going well. I've just been studying for my O.W.L. year. You know got to get 5 O.W.L.s this year so I can continue my studies. How is your summer going? Has it been exciting?" Mandi asked in a hurry as she smiled at the young girl.

Rosaliz was trilled when she heared that she said she was studying. Since she always had a feeling for learning and studying more. "My summer has been o.k. But not great. A few family tragedy’s here and there, but either than that it's been all right. Where are you going?" Rosaliz asked, feeling quite nosy. She started to blush and continued her questions "If you're shopping can, I come along? since I'm quite lonely" she said with a grin on her face. She felt awful that she was nosy but she was lonely and she needed a friend to be with.

Mandi felt a rush of sympathy for Rosaliz when she talked about her summer. It was hard for Mandi to understand some people's emotions. She hadn't really had too many problems in her life. The death of her grandfather was all. He had been her closest friend and someone she would never forget. It still hurt to think of his death, but that was the only pain she knew. Her life had been pretty easy since then.

"Of course you can come with me. If you want we can sit and talk for a while before we go. I don't mind getting another Butterbeer," Mandi smiled brightly. She hoped that Rosaliz would feel better after a Butterbeer. The girl didn't need to feel horrible the rest of the day because of Mandi. She hated to see people who were unhappy. It made her feel a rush of empathy for the people. She would rather make people laugh than make them hurt. "I was just going to head over to some shops around the town. Zonko's mainly. I love that place. You can get so many little things to anger Filch for the upcoming school year. Oh, if he knew I roamed the corridors at night trying to avoid him he'd hang me upside down in the dungeon just on principal," Mandi laughed as she thought about some of the close calls she had had. She shrugged as she looked back at Rosaliz. "So what do you say about that Butterbeer?"

Rosaliz listened to Mandi explain to her about Argus Filch. She hated him, but she wasn’t afraid since she knew he was a squib, or how ever you call it. (Person that is born from parents that are both can do magic, but wasn’t born with any himself.) “ Fine I’ll buy the butterbeer, since there isn’t anything else to do around here” she gave a little smirk on her face while saying this wondering to how Mandi stood in her position of handling news. She wondered if she was a true Gryffindor with bravery.

Mandi smiled as Rosaliz offered to buy her drink. How could she refuse such an offer. "By all means," Mandi smiled as she waved Rosaliz to the bar. She was happy that Rosaliz had accepted her invitation. She seemed to be in the need of a familiar face. Maybe once they finished their Butterbeers she could be cheered up by shopping. "I'm going to go sit down over there in the corner," Mandi smiled as she walked toward the back of the pub as she saw Madam Rosmerta grab a couple bottles of Butterbeer.

Rosaliz tagged along. She was happy to have company but she sure missed her BEST friend Fiona, who she could talk to her about anything. She then wondered how Mandi would take news about the Dark Lord. And was about to ask "Mandi the Dar-" she didn't continue to what she was going to say. She thought it was a bad idea; she didn't know what Mandi could do. "Never mind" she said, "Anyways, where do you want to go shopping first, Zonko's? " she said taking a sip from her butterbeer.

Mandi took a sip of her fresh Butterbeer as she watched Rosaliz. Something was definitely troubling her and Mandi thought she was about to tell her, but it seemed she changed her mind. Mandi didn't know Rosaliz very well at all, but she sensed there was something about her that was lonely. She couldn't imagine why Rosaliz would feel lonely, but she shrugged at the thought.

"My usual rounds here in Hogsmeade are the Three Broomsticks, Zonko's, Catalina's Cubby, and from there I wing it. So we can check out Zonko's and then some of the clothing shops. I'm looking for a good scarf for one of my outfits that I have," Mandi smiled as she tried to make conversation.

Mandi took another sip of her Butterbeer as her thoughts began to wonder. She was again thinking about her O.W.L.s, they had hardly left her thoughts all summer. However another thought had now entered them. The attack on Hogwarts last year was devastating. She didn't know what would happen this coming year. She realized that Dumbledore couldn't stop the Death Eaters from attacking last year, how is he possibly going to stop them this year. Mandi's smile faded from her face as she contemplated what would happen. It isn't safe at school. It isn't safe anywhere. Mandi glanced around her nervously. She hated that feeling of danger and she had worked herself up to it by her overactive imagination.

Mandi's attention turned back to Rosaliz and her smile returned. At least she wasn't alone. "So what brought you to Hogsmeade today?" Mandi asked trying to keep the conversation going.

Rosaliz listened to Mandi explain, to where she’d go shopping usually in Hogsmeade. Rosaliz took a couple of big gulps of her warm butterbeer. She sat in silence letting Mandi think on her own. She answered Mandi’s recently question she asked. “ I’ve been outside walking around looking around for a friend but she’s not here. So I decided to go shopping. My legs hurt from walking so much.” She said giggling.
“But I think I’ll mange to have strength to walk to some stores” she said with a grin on her face. Rosaliz took three big gulps of her butterbeer. She then looked inside her cup, and saw that her cup was empty. “ Should we start shopping now?” she said looking up at Mandi waiting for a reply.

Mandi was curious about who Rosaliz had been looking for. She thought about just dismissing the thought, but she was too curious to not ask. "Who were you looking for, maybe I've seen them," Mandi said with shrug. She had seen several people around Hogsmeade that morning, but she wasn't really sure who they had been or where they went. She shrugged again. She shouldn't be so nosy, but sometimes she just couldn't help but ask questions about people. It helped her gain more knowledge about their lives, although she was good at telling who they were for the most part just by meeting them she preferred to talk to them also.

Mandi smiled at Rosaliz. She was enjoying the girl's company. "I'd love to go shopping now. Where to first? How about Zonko's, I really like that store," Mandi said with enthusiasm. She did love that store. She was constantly buying things from there to make Filch crazy. She would hide in a secret passage and then set a dung bomb or the sort off and watch him run into view cursing the students under his breath. It was funny, but sometimes, mind you sometimes, she would feel a bit guilty for causing so much mayhem. Mandi finished her Butterbeer as she waited for Rosaliz to reply.

Rosaliz didn’t bother to answer’s Mandi’s question to who she wanted to meet. She didn’t want to tell her she was friends with a slytherin. ((You know who)) She just pretended she didn’t hear her. Rosaliz heard Mandi reply and said something about Zonkos. She didn’t think it was a bad idea herself; she loved playing pranks on people. It was something she was best at. Rosaliz stood up and pushed in her chair. She looked down at Mandi and said, “Ready to go?” waiting for a reply or at least something.

Mandi wondered why Rosaliz hadn't answered her question about who she was looking for, but shrugged at it. If she didn't want Mandi to know that was perfectly fine. Besides she agreed to go to Zonko's and Mandi was ecstatic about that. "Yeah," Mandi replied as she stood up and started to walk about of The Three Broomsticks. She was excited to be going back to Zonko's. She knew she had spent too much money in that store and the Weasley's store in Diagon Alley. She loved playing pranks, especially on Filch.

Stepping outside she quickly hurried down the street to Zonko's, checking every now and then to see if Rosaliz was with her. When she reached the door she held it open for Rosaliz to enter first. She smiled as she stepped into the store. It was so awesome and she found herself grinning from ear to ear at the products that lined the shelf. She quickly stepped to the dung bombs, they had been one of her more useful products at school. She grinned at them as she picked a few up to purchase. Mandi realized that she had lost Rosaliz somewhere and turned to find her. "Hey, Rosaliz, what are you looking at?" Mandi asked as she approached the girl.

Rosaliz fallowed Mandi towards Zonko's. They had special candies and if somebody ate them they would tell the truth. Rosaliz grabbed some to buy then she saw something else caught her eye. They had rings that that shot poison at your enemy when it came in contact with them. The poison was ever lasting supply. Rosaliz grabbed a ring that fit perfectly and then was interrupted, when she heard Mandi asking her what she was looking at. Rosaliz turned around quickly and said “oh…nothing just looking that’s all. I’m going to pay for some of this stuff and I guess we’ll be on our way.

Mandi smiled at Rosaliz with curiosity. She seemed to be hiding something from her for the second time turning their visit with each other. She wondered what could possibly be too much to share. Mandi was trustworthy, but it seemed that Rosaliz didn't much think so. Mandi sighed to herself as she turned back to get some more things she could use to bother Filch. Grabbing a handful of magical streamers and popping rocks Mandi made her way to the check out. She fished out a galleon and several sickles so she could pay for her merchandise.

Mandi waited at the door for Rosaliz shifting through her bag of merchandise. She was thinking about which one to set off first. Mandi smiled at the thought of Filch running around, but she was interrupted by the door opening. "Oh, sorry," Mandi said as she stepped out of the way to let the young boy through. He seemed to be eager to be in the store. A smile crossed her face as she waited for Rosaliz.

Rosaliz watched Mandi pay for he items. Rosaliz took one last item before standing in line. It was some mini bombs that looked exactly like cat food but when the cat eats it he feels little pos on his tongue but doesn’t do any damage to it. Rosaliz planned to give it to Flich’s cat since it’s always snooping around into other people’s businesses. After she paid her supply’s she walked towards Mandi who apparently had been waiting for her at the door. “Where should we go next?” she asked. “Should we go to Catalina’s cubby to have some ice-cream?” she asked with a grin.

((Rosaliz, I love posting with you, but I really do need to cut down on posts. So I'll let this go for a few more posts, before we end it. School sucks! ))

Mandi smiled brightly at Rosaliz. "I'm always up for ice cream!" Mandi bounded out the door and into the streets. She looked around Hogsmeade. A lot more people had begun shopping there and it was a lot more fun to see people she recognized. She smiled at a few of them as she walked to Catalina's Cubby. She turned to see if Rosaliz was behind her. She had a habit of getting lost in her own world when she was walking. "So, what's your favorite kind of ice cream?" Mandi asked as she waited for Rosaliz to catch up with her. "I love Chocolate Frog ice cream, but I also love cherry ice cream!" Mandi said excitedly.

I think we should end it...as a mater of fact I rushing on all of my posts, since I'm in school to... It's alot of work considering homework, house cleaning and cooking, instrument practice and clubs. It's alot of work but I try to keep up...to make this easier for both of us this poat is done and I should finish blabbing right now. BYe
