Amelia sighed as her mother said no... again. Amelia moaned, a low whiney sound. Her mother shook her head, her light brown hair swaying and her blue eyes bored, annoyed almost. Amelia stomped her foot. This was NOT fair! She gritted her teeth, controlling her anger.
"And why not?" she asked, her british accent heavey. Her mother sighed, annoyance and growing anger.
"Because, Amelia, You are not 15 yet!" she said, exasperated. Amelia let out a frustrated moan.
"But MOMMA! They said I can start driver's Ed now... I just need your permission!" Her mother shook her head again and waved Amelia off. Amelia glared. She needed out... She put on a smile and looked at her mother.
"Momma..." she asked sweetly. Jay'Na sighed extremely loud and sat up on the couch. Her eyes widened with anger as she looked at her daughter, waiting for an answer.
"May I go to Hogsmead?" she asked sweetly. Jay'Na shook her head again, her eyes were very annoyed now as laying back on the two flat pillows that sat on the couch. Amelia got on her knees next to the couch and pleaded with her eyes.
"Please momma?" she asked, Jay'na gritted her teeth together and glared at Amelia. Then she started to complain about how long she works all day and how much she needs rest. Amelia sat back, her feet holding her steady as she forced herself not to roll her eyes. She waited the five minutes it usually took for her mother to stop complaining and she smiled again.
"Please?" she asked. Jay'Na sat up again and screamed, "FINE!" Amelia's eyes widened and she smiled shockingly. She stood and grabbed her purse, running downstairs to the basement. She pulled open the door to the den and up to the fireplace.
Ten minutes later Amelia stopped spinning and The Three Broomsticks came into view. She shook her head, getting more and more dizzy. She put a hand to her temple and stumbled into a chair. She mummbled something about hating floo powder when Madam Rosmerta walked up. Amelia smiled and asked for a cold Butterbeer. Then she turned to her purse, taking out a minature book. She took out her wand and waved it, the book suddenly expanded to it's normal 500 page thickness. She turned to the page that her black and red bookmark marked and began to continue reading the story. Madam Rosmerta brought her the butterbeer she ordered and Amelia thanked her, turning to the ice cold drink.
