Maryn had arrived very early to Hogsmead that morning. She desperately needed to finish up her school supplies shopping. She was dressed rather casual in her jeans and her favorite pink shirt. "Um, lets see." Maryn thought to herself looking at her school list. "I need some new quills, parchment, potion supplies, ect." She went into the nearest shop and got her quills. "Ok," She stopped suddenly saying her thoughts alout. "I need to go here." She said turning as she looked up from her list. Just then she nocked into a younger girl. "Oh, sorry. That was my fault." Maryn said politely looking rather embarrassed.

Padme wondered down the many streets of Hogsmeade, her eyes glittering with malice. How these people wondered the streets like nothing was happening. The corner of her lips were in a nasty smirk. She felt off balance but she wasn't about to tell someone about it. She was going to go on with life after all that had happened. After all, she was going to be a Slytherin soon and she wanted the freaks at Hogwarts to know that she wasn't messing around. She strode into the nearest shop, slamming the door behind her within her rage. The glass sounded like it cracked, Padme didn't look back to check. She was shifting through a book in the shop. It was a Dark Arts book about Potions. She looked down at the grueling pictures with a smile. They comforted her. After all, she wasn't the person in that situation. She smirked before putting the book on the counter carefully. It was so old it looked like the pages would fall right out. She gasped out loud when the lady told her how much it cost.
"56 galleons!" Padme asked softly, her eyes looking downcast. She should have known better.
"Yes dear." the lady replied with some impatience trickling down her words. She tapped her fingers obligingly on the soft wood but Padme felt her lips tremble momentarily until she straightened herself up. She smirked at the lady before turning quickly on her heels and leaving the shop and book behind on the counter.
Would she always have to face such problems? Would a solution come? Where was her Father when he was most needed? She glanced up and down the street quickly. No no one she knew or cared to know. She sighed and moved foreword into the crowd, her eyes placed on the ground. They shifted once and a while on a person that looked slightly familiar, but never lingered long. She was about to make a left turn into a the ice-cream parlor when someone ran into her. She looked up to see a girl older then her looking rather embarrassed. She explained that it was her fault. Padme smirked.
"Yes. It was all your fault. You should look around with those eyes you have. That's what their for, you know. Or maybe you should use that brain you never had." she replied smoothly, her voice just reaching below normal. She laughed coldly. Here was some little trash that was need to be thrown out. She would have the honors of cleaning....again.

The young girl wasn't as forgiving as Maryn thought she would be. "Wow, how is it living in a land where you think your princess? Well, you're not." Maryn said in her sarcastic voice. Maryn was not the type of girl to say something nice and walk off. She was raised to be protective and she lived up to her full potential. Many people would take one look at Maryn and think she was a good girl, but they were dead wrong. "Despite what you may think, I'm not stupid. I know the game. Yes, a Gryffindor knows the make people feel like dirt game. You can save it because I'm not one of those "people"." Maryn did a laugh just like the girl's laugh. It was a perfect mean impression. Maryn was sure the word battle was not over if the girl was anything like herself.

"Living in the real world is wonderful, thank you. As for living in a world where everyone is hunky-dory and playing on a swing-set....by all means, keep dreaming." she replied with a satisfied smirk. This girl would make for a fun play toy. It had been rather cruel for her to attack everyone who came across her path but, what was she supposed to do? Act unlike herself? Act like a happy, lively person? She laughed at the mere thought of it. How could people be so ignorant of the true world and harsh reality? She scuffed the ground with her shoes before raising her eyes to the ceiling as the girl continued to speak. What was the point of speaking if there's nothing intelligent to say? She thought with disgust. She raised an eyebrow when she said she was a Gryffindor.
"My story is confirmed. Gryffindors are little rodents who think the world is one beautiful place with courage and strength. They live in the fairy world. People who are strong are the ones who look straight into the dirty world itself instead of lusting for things that could never be." she replied with an air of teaching a two year old how to walk again. It was wearing her down and she ran a finger through her hair. Padme smirked; "Not one of those people, eh? Then what are you? I girl who has a fake laugh and false accusations?" she continued to smirk as her brain worked rapidly with the insults. "I'm afraid you have it all wrong. You are dirt and you are one of those people. My shoes may be big enough to smash you just like they did all the others who thought they the better here." she sneered, her cold demeanor becoming worse and worse with every passing word. She calmed herself and gave the girl some time to regain her pride, if she had any.

Maryn didn't care what the girl said. The girl couldn't hurt Maryn. She wasn't that way. "Think what you want. But, if I'm dirt, than what are you? Skum?" Maryn smiled her own unique smirk.
"And yes, I might accuse, but are you saying you don't? You look at muggle borns and think their fitlth just because of who their parents are. Slytherins need to learn to look past heritage and into reality. I'm better than this conversation. I wish you were better than your Slytherin attitude, but you were born with it." Maryn was far more mature than this girl. She didn't care what she said. The girl couldn't stomp on her like an ant. "Excuse me, but I must be off." Maryn replied and with that she turned and walked to the Floo Network.

Padme smirked at the girl, not surprised that she wasn't taking these things to her head. It wasn't like she could think them over properly anyway; it must have taken much of her time and energy. Padme eyes brightened at the girl but she said nothing until she left. "Yes. Please go. Your horrible stench was clogging my breathing system." she said after her, with a malicious smile. She turned away to walk to the nearest store that held quills, anxious to buy some of her own. She was tempted to get any invisible one for writing on her secret things but decided not to waste any money on it. Instead, she hung around, looking for one that fit her taste.
((Sorry for the shortness. I couldn't honestly think of anything else....))
