Elle walked down the isles of Honeydukes, corkscrew wedges making a clacking sound on the white tile, so immaculate she could see her own reflection on the floor. She frowned, noting a flyaway piece of hair in her french pigtail braids. Taking a bobby pin out of her purse, she secured the strand, using the aid of the floor as a mirror.
Elle inspected the rows of candy, picking a package of licorice wands and chocolate frogs. After putting them in her shopping bag, she moved on to the next aisle of sweets, the hem of her ripped jeans dragging on the floor.
Remembering the Diagon Alley incident, Elle couldn't help but worry that the Death Eaters could attack Hogsmeade as well. Picking up that paranoia habit from Mandi, she walked to the front of the store and looked out the window. Satisfied that there wasn't any strange activity going on, she turned around, and unexpectedly saw a fellow ravenclaw. Though she was familiar with him, she couldn't quite place a name, as he was a couple years older.
Deciding to introduce herself, she walked up to him.
"Hi," she said, "I'm Elle, and I believe you are a fellow Ravenclaw of mine. What's your name?"

Will looked up and down Hogsmeades busy streets. Ever since the Diagon Alley attack, the place had been filled to the brim with shoppers for school. Most of the shops had no room left for any costumer to get in. He stepped inside the Three Broomsticks only to find it packed with drinkers and eaters and many others. The place smelled horribly of some type of smoke; Will left right away. He had no intention whatsoever to go inside and communicate with those people. No, he would leave them be and walk away peacefully. The next place will looked for was Honeydukes. All the sweets there! Will never was a big candy eater; he would like to prefer to stay slim all his life, but every once in a while he would pick up something quite tasty. This time, his mind was on the sugar quills that you could suck during class. It would be perfect for the orphanage. He smiled luxuriously and walked into the dinky shop.
He had been moving along the row closest to the window when he heard a voice call out. He thought that the young girl was talking to someone else but when he looked over his shoulder, he realized that no one from Ravenclaw was there. Will grinned hastily and turned back to the girl. "Hello there!" he said in a genuinely friendly voice. "I'm Will, short for William, Senetta. Yeah, I'm in old Raven. A sixth year, actually." he said lazily, reaching out for the sugar quill he had just noticed. He had seen the girl before in the common room but had never actually spoken to her.
"What brings you here?" he asked while fingering the quill. It looked delicious already and he could just imagine sucking on it while Mrs. Weatherby attempted to teach.

Elle looked at her packages of licorice wands and chocolate frogs, trying to determine if any of them were spoiled. Looking through the package, she felt and saw a spoiled chocolate frog. She put it back and reached for another one. Once her candy was safe in her bag, she looked at William and answered him.
"Well," she said, "I haven't been here in almost forever, and I just thought I might come and satisfy my sweet tooth a little. Of course, you gotta be careful how much you buy and eat because if you're not you start to bloat up quite a bit."
She looked down at herself and began to frown. Usually, she was stick skinny, but over the summer, she had gained a bit a weight, and she could just make out the faintest lovehandles. No, Elle thought, that won't do.
She put back two chocolate frogs and a few licorice wands, still disapproving of her weight gain. It must be from staying in Hogsmeade all summer, she thought. If I had gone home, I wouldn't have access to all this wonderful candy and food all day. No, homecooking was a lot healthier than eating out in Three Broomsticks and going here everyday.
Twirling the end of one of her french braids, she started talking again, "My parents are letting me stay in Hogsmeade by myself for quite a bit of summer. Of course, I haven't told them about the Diagon Alley attack yet, and seeing that they only have muggle TV, they don't know. I'll be going home for two weeks before the term starts though, so I can still see my family and all my muggle friends."

Will grinned foolishly at the girl before turning back to the items on the vast shelves. They were all amusing in their own way, even though they were candy. In the muggle world, the candy didn't even look this good. Being a wizard has so many advantages. He smirked in a satisfied way while running a hand over his chin. He wasn't exactly listening to the girl as he should be, but was just looking away and was fantasizing in his own little world. Will shook himself out of it before glancing back at the girl curiously and laughed when she mentioned bloating up. "Ah, yes, most girls are afraid of that. I've never met one that wasn't, to be truthful. All ladies are very critical on their appearance. I guess you are no different then?" he ran his fingers through his hair and grinned at the girl. He wasn't sure if all girls were like that but from what he had heard, most were. He flicked his eyes upward before turning back to the shelves hungrily.
"I actually don't worry about weight gain and what not. I'm outside almost all day so naturally I'm quite slim." he put his hands on his hips and glared at the candy closest. The fact that he wasn't looking at the girl while talking to her was probably annoying. Will was rather bored himself. He reached up for that sugar quill and stuffed it into his pocket. Elle was still talking which made Will turn back to her out of politeness. Will nodded his consent and fingered the quill in his pocket. He blinked a few times before replying. "Maybe you should tell your parents. I'm sure they would be worried sick and obviously, wouldn't want you to stay alone in Hogsmeade. Of course, I don't understand why you do anyway. Isn't it somewhat creepy to think that Hogsmeade may be next?" he sighed and glanced up and down the street surreptitiously before turning a tight smile Elle's way. He wondered if she had ever considered the danger that could be around these parts anymore. After the many fatalities and injured of Diagon Alley, Will had been quite shaken. The Death Eaters were on a roll so far and probably felt no need to break the record just yet. He turned sharply away from Elle and moved to the counter, pulling out the needed money for the quill. Setting it on the counter, the man gave him back the quill and the change that was left over. Will pocketed it quickly and began to open the quill.
"Are you going to pay for those any time soon or are you not finished shopping just yet?" Will asked with another flick of his eyes. He held the quill out and sucked on the end, which tasted delicious. Sugar could sometimes get to him, but he wasn't about to make a fool of himself in front of the people in the shop. Smirking, looking totally at ease, he leaned against the shelf and watched this Elle out boredom. He noticed that her candy amount had gone down quite a bit. He raised an eyebrow and continued to suck on his quill, waiting for Elle to do something.

OOC: I know I took forever. Volleyball Tryouts All Week.
IC:
Elle picked up a sugar quill, examining it, and then putting it in her back. Seeing William take so much candy was rather tempting. She laughed when William talked about girls always thinking they were fat, to put it in the bluntest terms.
"Well I'm not really obsessed or anything," she said, "But I do like to watch my weight a little. I mean, gaining a couple pounds doesn't drive me crazy, but I still don't really like gaining that much weight. I am usually rather active at home, I do all kinds of sports and I dance, but since I've been at Hogwarts and Hogsmeade and things, it's kinda hard to get too much exercise. I am rather shopaholic-like.
"And my parents know I'm in Hogsmeade, and since they don't know about Diagon Alley, they aren't worried sick. But they have tightened security, so I'm not all that apprehensive about being attacked here. Of course it IS a possibility, but one attack so soon after another is quite difficult to pull off."
She crossed her arms, looking down at the super clean floor. Neat freaks bugged her for some reason, and she didn't know why. Better super neat than disgustingly dirty, she thought, looking up and watching William pick candy, with a childish gleam in his eyes. It was kind of annoying to see his eyes flicker about, and just watching him made her dizzy. Nevertheless, Elle smiled a little, watching him pay for his candy.
"Yeah I'm about to pay," she said, stepping up to the counter and pulling ten sickles out of her purse.

Will raised an eyebrow when Elle laughed but said nothing more about it. She explained who she was not obsessed with anything. He smiled before crossing his arms over his chest arrogantly. "Why, I'm sure doing all those sports leave you very muscular. Muscles weigh more then fat you know." he smirked before continuing his sucking on the sugar quill. It was quite good and he picked up another one, trying to decide if he should take it to school with him. The fact that Hogwarts was right around the corner from starting loomed in Will's mind many of times. He had always been excited going to a magical school but now it seemed more like a routine. He sighed before pocketing the sugar quill. He would pay for it when Elle did. Seeing as she wasn't done talking quite yet, he turned to survey her. When she said it was doubtful that another attack will happen, Will just smiled.
"Come on. It's the Death Eaters we're talking about. They're complete lunatics so I wouldn't be judging their actions. Unless you know how a lunatic would think?" he raised an eyebrow before laughing slightly. He wondered if she had gotten her point before bursting out laughing again. Considering he had only gotten one piece of candy, Will was very tempted with the others on the shelves but he only had eyes for the Quills. Those one come in handy quite often, he predicted. He followed Elle to the counter he pulled out some more money and laid it on the counter. Once the man had taken his money, Will pulled back the Sugar Quill and stuffed it in his pocket with his other one. "Are you done shopping here or are you still not satisfied?" he asked Elle with an amused glint in his eyes.

"Yes but you see," Elle replied, "I haven't done too many sports in quite awhile. It's kinda hard to bring all the equipment and things you need to play at Hogwarts. I mean, I have enough to pack as it is, and it's easier to pack light than heavy. And besides, how on earth do you pack a track, or a volleyball court? I did pack a net one year, but I couldn't find any trees I could tie it to. And plus, the majority of the people here aren't interested in muggle sports."
Elle took the remaining change and stuck it in her purse, before saying, "Of course they're lunatics. But they'd have to be absolute idiots to attack Hogsmeade after Diagon. They're already tightening security and aurors are everywhere. In fact, there's a couple just outside the door of Honeydukes."
She began to walk towards the door of Honeydukes, pointing at the two figures standing guard by the door.
"You see?" she said.
Then, as she walked closer to the door, she answered William's final question, "Well I think I'm done here. I'm going to go Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop, obviously because I need some new quills. Well, I guess I'll see you around Hogwarts then. It was nice meeting you."
With that, Elle stepped out the door and into the bright sunlight, shielding her eyes and walking down a cobblestone path, towards the shop.
