Jack smirked at his father as he walked through Hogsmeade. They were going to play their usual game; or Jack's game. Drop his father off somewhere and then wonder off on his own. It was very precise work, for he had to narrow down where Roger would really like to go. He didn't have much of an idea until he walked by the Three Broomsticks. "Father, didn't you say you always went there?" Jack asked sincerely, pointing at the pub. Roger's eyes traveled over to where Jack was pointing and narrowed slightly, looking suspicious. Jack tensed up, feeling like he had chosen the wrong place to bargain with but then...."Ah, yes. The Three Broomsticks. Yes, my old friends and I used to go there and have...some fun." Roger's eyes brightened and he strutted over to the pub, leaving Jack alone. The young boy shuddered to think of what his father's idea of 'fun' was but he just walked away from the pub, feeling remorse. He had visited Hogsmeade so much this summer and in the school year that there wasn't nearly as much to do. The fun had worn out. Walking over to the Shrieking Shack, Jack leaned on the fence, wondering what exactly there was to do in this village,
The Hog's Head loomed ever closer as Jack walked away from the Shrieking Shack, feeling utterly bored. He hadn't been to the Hog's Head for a while, but then again maybe that was a good thing. As he walked in he tried to block out the view of the horrible bartender cleaning his glasses with a filthy rag. People drank out of those! Jack blinked and turned away from the man and walked to the very back to the shop. The man looked slightly upset that he hadn't asked to drink something, but what did he expect? Or, maybe that was anger Jack saw. Whatever it was, he didn't care nor look back at him. He might have gotten a mug from here if he could use magic. Scourgify would clean it right up. But instead, he had to deal with the dirt until he became of age. Jack leaned back in his chair, getting into one of his comfortable positions. The front legs were off the ground and Jack's feet on the table. It wasn't as if the table wasn't dirty already. Sighing contentedly and ignoring the scandalized looks of the few people who were there, Jack closed his eyes, becoming comfortable in his odd surroundings.

Elle strolled down the streets of Hogsmeade, somewhat upset that the humidity had frizzed up her normally wavy, tame hair. She also noticed that it was a little bit hard to breathe, and as she walked in her sneakers, beads of sweat ran down her face. She was glad that she wore only a loose T-shirt that she had slightly modified to make it look fitted, and a denim miniskirt that she had used a razor to make it look ripped up.
She passed Three Broomsticks, and contemplated stopping to get a drink and maybe meet a few new people, but decided not to. Elle had gone to Three Broomsticks so many times that she had gotten sick of all that they served there. She chose, instead, to walk past it, and go to the Hog's Head.
She was glad that her parents trusted her this much, to let her stay in a hotel in Hogsmeade a couple weeks after school let out. Elle knew that most of her muggle friends were wondering where she was, but she just loved Hogsmeade and all the quaint little shops in the village, and couldn't help staying a bit longer.
The reason Elle chose the Hog's Head tavern instead of her usual Three Broomsticks was because she had never gone, and naturally wondered what it was like.
As she walked in, and saw the man cleaning the glasses with that disgusting rag, she walked up to him and said, "You know, you could use the spell 'Scourgify' and it would be clean without having to go to all that trouble..."
The bartender cast her a glare and continued to use the rag. Gosh, she thought, so much for being friendly. Looking around the crowded pub, Elle didn't see any empty seats, except at the two person table Jack was sitting at. Because he didn't have his school robes on, and she hadn't really seen him before, Elle didn't know what house he was in, and figured it wouldn't hurt to try and be nice.
After ordering a mocha on the rocks, Elle walked over to where he was sitting. Across from him, at the same table, was where the only empty seat was. She tapped his shoulder, seeing that his eyes were closed.
"Sorry if I'm bugging you, but there doesn't really seem to be any other seats left. Do you mind?"
OOC: She will be very sweet and nice and social until the person she's talking to turns into an a**hole...or calls her a mudblood or something like that...

Jack heard the door open but didn't bother to look up. Probably some other filthy person. Not that he cared. He closed his eyes tighter. Who ever had come in was now speaking to the man behind the bar, at least that was what Jack guessed. he still didn't bother to open his eyes. Just as long as they didn't bother him, he would lay in peace. As if reading his mind, someone came over and talked to him. It sounded like a female voice, much higher than Jacks'. He opened one eye and looked at the girl. He had seen her before but had forgotten her name. He had even forgotten what House she was in, but the only thing that mattered was that she wasn't in Slytherin. She could be in any other House, but if not in Slytherin, she wasn't worth Jack's time. He smirked up at her lazily and closed his eyes again.
"Yes, I do mind. Are you sure there's no more seats?" He squinted around at the many tables, looking for an opening, but there was none. Jack sighed heavily and looked back at the girl, trying to remember her name or at least her blood. She had red hair and Jack couldn't help but look at it fervently. Every time he saw red hair he was reminded of Mack....Tearing his thoughts away from her, Jack peered at the girl who had joined his table so nicely. "Who are you?" he asked with no preamble. He wished to know who she was in case she was a dirty mudblood or somewhat that didn't deserve sitting with a pureblood. Smirking at the girl, he didn't straighten. Instead, he leaned back more profoundly, making more stares come his way. He didn't care though. Instead, he glared at the girl before closing his eyes, showing his apparent boredom.

OOC: Yes, she is muggleborn...hahahaha I DARE you to call her a mudblood...
IC: Elle looked at Jack and analyzed his little smirks and his attitude.
Definitely Slytherin, she thought, well he won't be very pleasant. Might as well take that chair and go to a different, nicer table.
"Well I'm Elle, and can I at least take that chair? I can sit anywhere, just not the floor. It's kinda dirty. So if you wouldn't mind that...seeing as I don't think anyone will join you. You're not very pleasant."

Jack didn't even look at her. He smirked when she asked if she could at least take the chair. "Ah, no. You see, I was here first." he let his brown hair fall over his eyes as he put his hands behind his head. The girl introduced herself as Elle but Jack wanted more than a first name. Elle who? He thought back to school were hundreds went to learn and he tried to focus on all the half bloods that were in the school. He had made a list a long time ago to make sure that if he ran into them, he would know better than to waste his company on them. He imagined the list, laying inside his dresser drawer but couldn't imagine Elle's name on it. No, no Elle was on that list. He then imagined the mudblood list. He remembered scanning it ever since first year, memorizing all...He had been listening to Elle's words but now she was done speaking and it was all silence. Jack was deep in thought but suddenly came out of his reverie.
"You would belong on the floor, mudblood. It would make you even dirtier than you are now, if that's even possible." Jack's smirk was now playing across his features as he spoke. "Yes, I would rather like it that way anyway. Peace and quiet. You, on the other hand, don't deserve to be speaking to someone much better than yourself? Why can't your kind get it through their heads?" he asked carelessly, not even wanting an answer. He hadn't even opened his eyes to the mudblood. He didn't wish to look upon her. Instead, he sharpened his hearing, wondering what type of mood this girl was in.

Elle was in a rather happy mood, and wasn't about to let someone as arrogant and ignorant as Jack ruin it.
"Actually, I'm quite clean. You see, I took a shower just an hour ago. You, on the other hand, reek of arrogance and pride. And I can speak and address whomever I want. The pureblooded wizarding folks are no better than everyone else," Elle said.
She flipped her hair, turned around and then took the chair without his permission and sat down a good few feet away from him, but not at any specific table because the people looked rather shifty.
Even though she had this little run in, she was still rather cheerful. No, she wouldn't let some foul-mouthed pureblood Slytherin ruin her mood. Elle had decided that she was going to be happy today, and she was determined to stay happy.
