Want To Go Shopping? (( Marina))

Meyghan wondered around Hogsmeade looking for someone she knew, she didn't like Hogsmeade as well as Diagon Alley, but Diagon Alley had been destroyed in the attack. So now she was stuck doing her shopping here.

Meyghan didn't want to shop alone, so she looked around to see if she could find some of her fellow Ravenclaws, or any Hogwarts student for that matter. She just didn't want to shop alone, after the attacks.
She knew that if Diagon Alley had been attacked then Hogsmeade could be next. She would have made her brother come with her, but he was trying to prepare for his final exams at Durmstrang, and was against her coming to Hogsmeade alone. She promised him and her father that she would be careful, and that she would try her best to find someone she knew when she got there.

Meyghan continued to wonder in and out of the stores looking for a familar face. Suddenly she heard a girl walking up behind her. She turned around, and noticed that the girl went to Hogwarts. She also appeared to be her age, but she didn't recognize the girl.

Meyghan decided to walk back toward the girl to see fi she would like to hang out with Meyghan. She noticed that that the girl didn't look to happy, and Meyghan wondered what was wrong.

Meyghan was usually real shy, but she was really stressed about finding someone that she might be able to befriend, and hang out with, so she walked directly up to the girl, knowing that she hadn't been shy in a long time, and asked her. " Hi, my name's Meyghan. I'm a fifth year at Hogwarts, and I was wondering if you would like to come hang out with me. We could do some shopping or something." Meyghan was surprised at how open she was with the girl, but she hadn't been very shy since she was in her first year.

Meyghan realized that the girl might be a little taken back by her fowardness, but she knew that there was no need to have useless talk when she could just come out and ask the question and save the small talk for if she agreed

Marina looked up, when she heard a female's voice overhead. Marina raised her eyebrows, as the girl the introduced herself as Meyghan, and had asked Marina if she had wanted to go 'hang out' with her. That wasn't a word that Marina would use, but she shrugged slightly, her eyebrows still raised. She eyed the girl up and down. She defiantly wasn't a Slytherin, since Marina knew all of her house mates, especially those in her year.

The girl seemed very straight forward, and rather cheerful, and Marina really hated when people acted like that, when she just met them. She raised her eyebrows again, and replied, "Marin Williamson, fifth year, Slytherin." She wasn't exactly sure what house this girl was in, but Marina was certain that she wasn't in Slytherin, by the way that she had acted. Marina really had a hard time tolerating the other houses, but she wasn't sure if this girl would be a worthy person to talk to. She raised her eyebrows yet again, and replied casually, "Well, I suppose it I could..."

" Let me first apologize for my fowardness. I'm a Ravenclaw, and if you feel uncomfortable hanging out with me you don't have too." Meyghan said in her most appropriate voice. She didn't like acting like the rich snobby girl that her father had wanted to be. " I do apologize if I seem a little upbeat, it's just that I do love to shop, but I don't like to do it alone, and there was no one available to come shopping with me at home. I wouldn't dare bring that filthy house elf of my father's with me, and she was the only one available." Meyghan said in a most stuck up way.

Meyghan was glad that the girl said that she would, but Meyghan also knew herself well enough to know that if the girl started acting all snobbish, that Meyghan would throw the same attitude right back at her. Meyghan could have been placed in Slytherin, she was a pureblood, and did tend to put herself before others. But the Sorting Hat had decided that she belonged in Ravenclaw.

Meyghan wondered where that girl wanted to start shopping first. She decided to ask, " So, umm.. where do you want to start? Oh, by the way my name's Meyghan, what's yours?" Meyghan said knowing that she had introduced herself when she walked up to the girl.
