Maddie was enjoying her day in Hogsmead so far. It was about noon or so. She had gone to Honeydukes and that's about it since she had just gotton here not too long ago. She was alone, and liked to be alone. But, sometimes, being too lonely wans't always good. Her friends either, couldn't go, or were doing something else. After going into a book shop, she set down her bags on on a table, outside an ice-cream shop and began to read her book. She was bored and was waiting for somebody. She didn't know who yet though, I guess just anyone who was bored too and wanted someone to talk to. ((I wrote this to hopefully meet some new people since I only know a few. Ya don't have to reply to this, but if ya want to, I'll be happy to reply back! ))

Susan walked out of the dress shop with several bags in her hand. Laughing and smiling at a boy who winked at her across the street, she continued to make her way to the apothacary, after purchasing several bags of potion ingrediants, she decided it was time to get some dinner.
Walking by the ice cream, she started to crave a chocolate sundae. Thinking about it, she decided that would be her dinner. Why not? No parents were around to dictate her dinner and plans, and why not live a little? Heading over to the ice cream shop, she walked over to the counter she ordered a chocolate sundae, with extra hot fudge. Looking around the shop for anyone she knew, she spotted a girl she recogized from school. Grabbing her sundae fromthe clerk, she walked over to the girl, " Want some company?"

Maddie was reading her book, when she was interupted when an older Hufflepuff came over to her and asked if she wanted company. I guess she all that fond of Hufflepuffs, but hey, it was someone to talk to. And, she usally was nice to everyone, even if they were in other houses.
"Sure." she replied while smiling and moving her bag aside so the girl could sit.

“No, loosen your wrist up and aim by either the corner of your eye or your mouth,” Kris corrected and watched as the third year Slytherin girl let go of the knife in her hand. The knife flew off target and Kris summoned it back to him, carelessly picking it up from the air. Stepping behind the girl Kris crouched a little and took hold of her hand after handing the knife back to her. “Just relax – balance the blade, hand moves back and with a flick of your wrist forward again, letting go of the bade while sharply moving forward,” Kris instructed guiding the girls hand through it’s movement and the knife landed neatly in a tree stump this time.
Kris step aside again and watched the girl some more – she as a skinny little thing and often picked on, as well as aloner who never really spoke to anyone. Kris probably the only person she did come to when she needed help or advice. As the fourth year bullies had mocked her in the common room while Kris was trying to read and had bothered him, he had stepped between. And after that the girl had started to look up to him. And now Kris was teaching her how to throw a knife and protect herself. She was an interesting girl however, so Kris didn’t really mind. And despite being skinny and short – she had guts. “Good,” Kris said with a nod as the knife ended in the tree again after a couple more tries that had ended with failure, “That’s enough for today. Come on.”
Leading the third year back to Hogsmeade Kris paid for her rather huge ice-cream with a smirk and sent her off.
Turning around Kris noticed one more Slytheirn – a third year sitting with a… Hufflepuff? Really – were even the Slytherins loosing their personalities and being friendly with Hufflepuffs on top of everything. What’s next – best friends in Gryffindor? Stalking over with a scowl Kris stopped at the table they were sitting at: “And news of hell freezing of must be true. Why else would a Slytherin tolerate a lowly mudblood like this one here,” Kris sneered with loathing dripping form his voice, with a sharp look and sneer to both of them. What was the third year thinking – associating with a mudblood and a Hufflepuff!

At the last comment, Maddie stood up, hands on her hips, with a scowl on her face also.
"Well, excuuuuuse me, Mr. Perfect! So what if I'm sitting with a Hufflepuff?! 'Cause right now, I really don't give! Did ya know that she's older than you and it sounded really stupid when ya insulted her... and me! Listen, yes, I'm a Slytherin, but, when someone offers you first, it's only polite to do that. Ya know, I learned that in a extremely expensive wizarding boarding school when I was younger, maybe you stop by there sometime. Listen, sorry, but, right now, I was really bored. And to top it off someone went out of their way to do something for me, and right now, all I care about is being nice back. And, yes, I am sorta insulting you, and yes I do have a Slytherin additude! Listen," she started again, this time sitting back down and regaining her cool. "Again, Graas, I'm sorry if you or a few other people feel this way, then it's really NOT my fault now is? I mean, she's willing to sit with me, so maybe she isn't that bad. After all we did just meet ya know?"
Maddie smiled inacently, in one of those apoligizing ways, and one that said I didn't do anything... or did I?, and went back to eating her ice-cream that she had just gotton.

Maddie turned to Susan and said, "Listen, sorry Susan, but I guess I should go. I mean, I got stuff to do, now that I think of it. Oh yeah, and sorry about this whole thing," she said, cocking her head towards Kris. "I didn't know that it would get this chaoctic." "Fine," she said, now turning to Kris. "I'm leaving, kay? Happy now?" She then picked up her things, threw away her empty ice-cream container, and started to walk away, but while Kris wasn't looking, she turned around and mouthed a "Sorry!" to Susan. As she walked away, she did hope that Kris would catch up to her, because she wanted to set this whole topic straight. ((Sorry Susan! Sorry that I kinda excluded you fast there, but we can post together some other time if ya want to, as aquitances, not friends, not enimies, just aquitances, kay? PM me if ya want to. Actually, if anyone wants to your more than welcome to PM me 'cause I always love meeting new people! ))

Kris smirked with amusement as the third year went into a rant. Rolling his eyes, Kris blocked most of what she said from actually reaching him and sneered at the Hufflepuff. As the girl seemed to finish Kris drawled lazily: “Well, most certainly you still need to grow a bit so you would actually learn to speak properly. And I was insulting the Hufflepuff here and your poor judgement. And not that bad – she’s a Hufflepuff. Already that makes her bad.”
Really – they accepted just anyone into the school. That girl – whoever she was, as Kris most certainly hadn’t bothered to memorize who she was – really needed to learn how things worked. It wasn’t really Kris’s business though as he calmly turned and left walking towards the pricy restaurant in Hogsmeade. They were good enough and thanks to the heavy price they asked there weren’t and worthless mudbloods didn’t go there. It was very rare to see any half-bloods there as well. Entering the restaurant Kris moved to a private tabled reserved for him and glanced at his watch, noticing that he was a little early for the lunch-meeting.
((Me and the person who plays Susan get along great OOC. Our other charries are even friends with each other, but Kris and Susan don’t get along because of their houses. So IC we loath each other, while OOC laugh at this post together. And if you want to get the topic straight with Kris, then you can be the one to run after him.
By the way – why did you put it into two separate posts? I doubt the staff here would like that. And it would be easier if you used Microsoft word – it fixes mistakes that have slipped in.))

Beth was walking the dusty roads of Hogsmeade when she noticed a group of people sitting outside an adorable little ice cream shop. She wondered whether or not she should engage in a conversation with the people or simply pass by and hope they would invite her over. Beth sucked up her fears of rejection and walked over to the table. "Hey Guys, You're from Hogwarts right?" she said trying to make eye contact. Their laughter and chatter stopped and she felt all of their eyes fall upon her. She couldn't do it, she pulled her eyes away from them and looked at her feet shuffling in the dirt. 'Fool' she thought as she waited for their response.
