Caiest smiled as she walked the town of Hogsmeade. It was getting late and most people had already started heading back to the castle. Caiest decided not to go back for a while. After all in her opinion night was the best time to be at Hogsmeade. It was never crowded so you got in and out of the stores like no other. You could go into the Three Broomsticks and depending on who was working get whatever you wanted. There had been a time that Caiest was able to get firewhisky during the night. Of course she didn't make a habit of getting the stuff as it wasn't allowed and she didn't want to get the good employees fired. No she would stay and walk a while longer until the shops all closed then she would go back.
Caiest wandered around the different shops buying things occasionaly. She ended up getting some new fabric so she could sew her new dress as well as some candies. She hadn't eaten anything all day so she decided some food and butterbeer would do just the trick. She headed into the Three Broomsticks and ordered a sandwhich and some butterbeer before heading over to an empty table.

Cassandra Logton/Blackfire sniffed the fresh night air as she made on of her final trips to Hogsmeade for the school year. She wasn't sure if she was going to get back before next year, and there was a fabric shop in town with some pretty designs. She hoped to get some outfits she had been planning all year done this summer. Waving to a few friends along the way, she decided to go by the Three Broomsticks and get some coffee. Opening the door, a warm infusion of cinammon overcame her senses. Spotting Caiest, she ran over to her table and took a seat.
"Hope you don't mind an evil, horrible, terrible Blackfire joining you?" Getting the waiter's attention, she ordered a cappuchino. " It sucks, you know. The school year is almost over. I really hate going back home. It's always so boring, but we should have some fun at your house this summer. I'm excited about going to France with Dana. We've got to start making plans." Cass thanked the old witch who soon brought her coffee. She knew she was running at the mouth, but she really was excited about the summer.

Jack hesitated at the gate to Hogsmeade, wondering if he should go back with the other students. The sea of people were pushing against him as Jack stood still at the gate, trying to make a decision. I think I'll stay, since Hogsmeade at night is much more inviting then daylight. Plus, there won't be as many students around to bother me. Jack turned and started fighting against the crowd, which created a small uproar. He smirked at people who got in his way; most people tried to stay out of his way. Once out of the mass of humanity, Jack hesitated at the Three Broomsticks. He sniffed the air and the smell of butterbeer lured him inside.
The shop wasn't nearly as full as usual. He strolled over to the counter and bought a butterbeer, which he drank as he made his way through the store. He spotted two girls and made his way toward them; seeing as there weren't any other students in the shop and these two were definitely from Hogwarts. He had seen the one girl from the lake. He still wasn't sure what her name was; he didn't care to remember it. He sat down next to the girl he didn't know with a glare at the two.
"Hope you don't mind a Slytherin joining," he said while taking a sip from his butterbeer. He didn't care if they did mind, he wasn't leaving from this seat. If they wanted to go, they would have to move.

"Hope you don't mind an evil, horrible, terrible Blackfire joining you?" Caiest looked over at Cassandra and grinned. She had no problem with Cassandra. It was Pyro she was having a problem with. After all how could you like someone who did what he had done.
"As long as it's you I have no problem with it." She said thanking the lady who brought over her sandwhich and butterbeer. She drank about half of the butterbeer while Cassandra went on about school ending and how much fun the summer would be. Caiest grinned as she ate her sandwhich. It was always fun to watch Cassandra ramble sometimes it could go on forever. She couldn't help but get a little excited as well. After all for once in her pathetic plane of exsitance she actually had people to spend the summer with. If it weren't for Cassandra and Dana, Caiest would be spending yet another summer all alone with no one for company but her Golem. Not to mention the stuff her parents sent her as compensation for never being around.
Caiest opened her mouth to let Cassandra know she was rambling when another Hogwarts student showed up. This time it was a boy a slytherin boy to be exact. He came over glaring at the two of them before sitting down basically telling them that he was going to sit there. Caiest looked the boy over trying to decided if he would be trouble. "Well it looks like we have no choice in the matter as I doubt you will get up even if we do have a problem with it." she replied cooly.

Cass' jolly exterior dimished as a Slytherin she didn't recognize joined them. How rude...,Cassandra thought. The boy might as well of propped his feet up on the table and leaned on the chair's two back legs for as comfortable he was getting. Frowning noticebly, she looked over at Caiest as she remarked about his hanging around. It wasn't that she didn't think he was being rude, it was she didn't know how to get him to move along. Finally dediding there was nothing she could do, Cassandra sighed and put back on her smile. " It's okay Caiest. It's not the first time we've run into a rude Slytherin. You know, Caiest. They are the worst ones about being rude. All their talk about pureblood standards and they don't even know how to be civil to fellow purebloods." Cass' eyes narrowed. " But, of course, I forget, I'm a Gryffindor. Apparently manners don't matter for us." She said this last part rather dryly.
Not budging, Cass decided to introduce themselves. Using her pureblood name to make a point she began. " Cassandra Blackfire," and pointing to her friend," Caiest Raven. And you are?"

Jack grinned at the girl he had chosen to sit next to as she said that they don't have a choice in the matter. "Right you are." Jack said calmly, placing his butterbeer on the table with a thud. The bartender looked over with disapproval but Jack ignored him. The other girl spoke up too; the girl opposite him who was wearing a frown. Jack eyed the girl, remembering her from the little run in they had had in the Grounds with that awful Brooke girl. Jack smirked at her as she said that only Slytherins are the worst about being rude and that they can't even be civil to fellow purebloods.
"There you would be wrong." he said with a nod at the girl who had spoken. "Slytherins are only civil to people who are worthy." Jack smirked at the girls to show that they weren't worthy enough. He didn't even know them; maybe they were worthy of attention. Jack leaned back in his chair, eying the girls carefully. When the girl opposite him said that her name was Cassandra Blackfire, Jack sat up straighter. " You're Cass Blackfire? I've heard of you from Pyro Blackfire. Aren't you his...cousin or something?" Jack asked carelessly. The Raven's name was Caiest and Jack didn't say anything to her. Cass asked his name and Jack raised his eyebrow, trying to decide if he should even answer. There was no harm in it, he decided as he opened his mouth to speak. "Jack Rendel. Third year." He leaned back in his chair as though the conversation had gotten boring already.
"What brings you too out here? I didn't know two people like yourselves would prefer Hogsmeade in the evening."

Cassandra let the smile cross her face as she watched Jack sit up and pay attention to her name. Sometimes she got a good reaction when people knew that, and sometimes they treated her worse than they did before. It was always nice when someone seemed to remember the Blackfire name. Deciding to be the haughty pureblood she was meant do be, she suddenly sat up straighter. " Oh, nothing much. Just getting some shopping done and discussing our trip to France. We are spending some time this summer with Dana Coran. Isn't that right, Caiest?" She nodded to her friend.
The boy seemed very startled by the news. Even though he tried to be non-chalant about the news, she could tell he was a little surprised and thrown off guard. " And, yes, I am his cousin. Why? Does he talk about me alot down in your dark, dingy dungeon?" She lifted the butterbeer to her lips and took a deep drink. " I prefer the evening better than the day in the town. Not as many people around, and I don't run into people I want to avoid. Unfortunately, that doesn't always work." Even though Jack was one of those many people she was trying to avoid, she refused to let that show. He was being nice now, and she would reciprocate. No need to be rude to someone she didn't really know just because of their house. " So, why are you here? Trying to get some late night shopping done or where you here for a specific purpose? It's not every day that a Slytherin just plops down at a table with a Gryffindor and feigns civility"

Caiest bit her tounge as Cassandra attemted to handle the matter of their rude guest. She made sure to mention her pureblooded last name which would hopefully gain the boys respect. In fact it seemed to as Jack sat up straighter and asked her if she was Pyro's cousin. Caiest looked away and drank her butterbeer ignoring their conversation of Pyro. Caiest really didn't like Pyro and she was liking Jack less and less. Especially when he announced his name and then acted like he was too good for their conversation. It took every ounce of self restraint Caiest had to not blow up at him.
Caiest smiled at Cassandra when she mentioned going to France with Dana. "That's right we are going to france this summer. Speaking of which I'm going to have to go shopping soon want to come with?" She asked finishing off her butterbeer and waving for another one.

Fiona sat watching the throng of students head back to school. She was a loner, never getting too close to anyone. She prefered it that way, ever since her parents made a point of gossiping every moment they could. Fiona loved her parents and respected them, but that was on thin ice. They raised her too hold herself in a higher light and though she still did she sometimes wished she could make a friend, a real friend, other than her cat.
Fiona slowly stood, but was in no hurry to go back to school. She debated on going to check out the Shrieking Shack, but decided on a Butterbeer.
Opening the door to the Three Broomsticks, she was blasted with hot air, hotter than she preferred. She scowled as she headed inside the near empty room. Ordering a Butterbeer and handing over her sickles, she looked around the room.
Three students sat in a part of the room. Two girls, one she recognized only by reputation, another she didn't know and a boy from her own house. She proceeded to the table and cautiously opened her mouth to speak.
"You have room for another?" she asked only with as much politeness as she could muster. It didn't matter what they were going to say, she was going to sit down anyways, but she knew that her rudeness would get her nowhere. Fiona looked each over waiting for a reply.

Cass looked up as another Slytherin arrived. Putting on as good as a smile she could manage, she replied. " Of course you can join us. Caiest and I were just letting Jack know about our trip to France this summer. I'm Cassandra by the way. But I don't believe we have met. I was pretty sure I knew everyone at the school."
After a waiter brought a pitcher of tea, Cassandra poured herself a glass and offered it to her companions. " So, any plans for the summer?"

Fiona sat down a little away from the others as Cassandra introduced herself. "We haven't met. I've heard of you though. Cassandra Blackfire, am I right? Things travel fast. I'm Fiona O'Reilly," Fiona said. She nodded at the rest of the table before taking a swig of her Butterbeer.
"France sounds fascinating. I've only been there twice and didn't stay long enough to see the sites." Fiona didn't feel like talking about her plans as she had nothing special in store. Cassandra and Caiest, who must be the other girl at the table, seemed to be more open on talking about France and Fiona preferred to leave it that way.
