Dana licked her ice-cream cone and enjoyed the taste. Muggles were rather clever in a lot of things and they had great cuisines too, but their ice-creams never wear even near the level of the ice-cream sold in the magical world. Dana moved down the streets of Hogsmeade, occasionally glancing at the store-windows, but nothing more. Should they feel like it, they could browse them later with Jasmine. And she couldn’t enter with the ice-cream anyway. They - she and Jasmine - had agreed to meet and spend a day together but Dana had arrived an hour earlier to Hogsmeade. Because this way she could get here with lesser problems. Besides she hadn’t wanted to dirty her white blouse and jean miniskirt while traveling with the floo.
Stopping to watch some younger kids play make-shift quidditch with toy quidditch balls, Dana smiled. She had only been on the Ravenclaw quidditch team a year, or actually even only half, but she find the game more pleasant than she would have thought. Not counting bludgers, it was much better to actually play the game than to watch it. Watching sports had never been something Dana liked to do if she couldn’t join in herself. Finishing up her ice-cream cone Dana brushed her hands off and walked on, leaving the kids to their game. It was 5 minutes to 10 and they had agreed to meet in front of the Post Office at 10 with Jasmine, so that’s where Dana headed to. Stepping into the post office Dana admired the owl’s who were softly hooting there. Dana would never trade her own eagle-owl – Dorian – but these birds were nice too.
Stroking the head of one of the owls, Dana let her thoughts carry her away so she barely managed yelping and jumping in the air when someone addressed her from behind.

Jasmine had been sitting in the living snuggled up under blankets by the fire. Her house always felt a little chilly during the summer and she was excited about going to Hogsmeade. I seemed like it had been forever since her last trip to the Village. She was too busy studying for O.W.Ls and did quite well actually. But even know Jasmine had done splendid her parents still wouldn't get the Nimbus 2001. "Jasmine honey you have to earn the money and pay for it. We can't always give you everything you wanted." where the exact words of Natale Winters. Why did Jasmine always have to learn these things before her brothers? Shane and Jeremy had gotten everything they wanted until there seventh year at Hogwarts. The thought of her older brother put a smile on Jasmines face and wished they could be home for summer holidays. But they had jobs and only could come at certain times of the year.
Turning the page of her book Jasmine put some of her dark hair behind her ears. Flipping to the next page Jasmine could hear somebody enter the room. Peeking from over her book she saw the image of her grandmother on the white couch reading the Daily Prohect. Charlotte Winters was wearing and old pair of reading glasses with a Grey and white summer dress that made her silver hair glow. A smile came to her face as she set down the book and stared at her grandmother for a while. Jasmine knew it wasn't proper to stare but she didn't want to disturb her while reading. Waiting a few seconds more Jasmine opened her mouth to say something but she beat it to her, "Yes darling?" Charlotte said folding the newspaper back up putting her hands on her lap staring at her granddaughter with a look of curiosity. Clearing her throat Jasmine stood up from the couch folding up the blanket before speaking, "I was hoping to go to Hogsmeade with one of my friends." Jasmine said with one of her sweet smiles as her grandmother nodded her head, "Thats quite alright better than reading in front of the fire all day like you done this past week." she said returning to her paper.
Walking into the living room Jasmine straighten out her long jean skirt and purple blouse making sure it wasn't wrinkled. Her long dark brown hair was now up half and half and she just looked like herself. Stepping into the fire Jasmine called out to her grandmother, "Bye Grandma I will be home in a couple of hours! The Three Broomsticks Hogsmeade Village!" Jasmine said throwing the fine powdered on the ground and starting spinning faster and faster. Jasmine never really liked traveling by floo powder. It always made her sick to her stomach and feeling so disy. Finally reaching the fireplace of the pub Jasmine stepped out and leaned against the wall trying to clear her head of the dizziness. There weren't many people in Three Broomsticks only a couple of witched and wizards talking about some kind of plans. Dusting off her jean skirt Jasmine straighted her blouse and walked out of the pub and down the streets to the Post Office where she was supposed to met Dana.
Opening the door of the Post Office Jasmine saw Dana admiring one of the owls. Walking up to her friend Jasmine stood next to her and stared at the creature. "Your early. So where do you want to head off to first? I was thinking maybe Zonkos. I want to get some presents for my brothers when they come home." Jasmine said laughing as she startled her a little.

Zane was leaning against the rough stone wall of the Post Office, distant from the mudbloods and blood traitors roaming the building. His stiff black robes dropped straight to the ground without any appearance of a wrinkle. He had important business to take care of and this seemed to be the only place he could get it done, without traveling a great distance. A cold expression laid gloomily upon his square face, his eyebrows arching flat above his emerald green eyes. He sighed heavily causing his crossed arms to rise abruptly and then drop again. A burrow owl passed closely by his head but he did not move an inch, hoping not to be notice by the others around him. He watched for nearly thirty minutes before the line of filth died down. He pushed his body from the wall and walked briskly past the owl cages and to the front counter where a man was standing. He reached into the inside pocket of his robes and shoved the small brown package into the mans arms, "You better take care of this," he snapped.
Just as the man begin to speak, his lower lip cowering, a dark haired girl who seemed to be young enough to be a student walked into the Post Office. He turned his head cautiously, glaring at the girl furiously. He didn't want to be interrupted with this important matter, it was private and urgent. He turned back to the man, "Keep it quiet and get it done." He turned quickly and walked towards the door to see another girl, around the same age, enter the room. He glared at them slightly, assuming they were filth of some kind, continuing he brushed past them and noticed one, the darker haired girl, glance at him. He whipped around angrily, "Is something wrong," he sneered viciously.

Dana managed to hide being startled and instead she smiled back at Jasmine. “Zonko’s sounds amazing. I could use a few of their products myself actually. I do prefer the Weasley twins store, but they don’t have a store in Hogsmeade unfortunately,” Dana agreed with Jasmine’s suggestion cheerily. Kris could deserve something to keep him alert and in line as well. “When are you brothers coming then? Actually I don’t even know what your brothers do? I don’t know much about your family on the whole, besides the fact you’re a pure-blood,” Dana continued curiously sending a glance over her shoulder upon hearing someone bark an order at the post office assistant.
The boy who had snapped at the store-helper stepped up to them and sneered at Dana. Surprised at such behavior Dana arched her eye-brows. The guy was about the same age as she and Jasmine were – maybe a year or two older. And his reaction to one careless glance had been erratic. Only one explanation to that – a Slytherin or someone who used to be in Slytherin. Dana didn’t appreciate this kind of rudeness, so instead of brushing the guy away she just smiled sugarly at him and chose her words carefully. There were few things Slytherins despised more than Potter and that was what Dana was going to play on. “I was just thinking that if you grow your hair a bit and wear glasses you could be Harry Potters twin. With the mop of black hair and green eyes – you two really are so much alike,” Dana smiled sweetly again and took hold of Jasmine’s hand, turning and starting moving towards the door to leave the post office, “So Zonko’s is first stop. You have anything special in mind you would want or will you just see what’s in stock and then decide?”

A smile came to Jasmine lips as Dana agreed to head off to Zonkos. Her mind than began to drift on what to get but was pulled back to life when Dana asked a question about her family. Jasmine never was really open to her friend on the subject but she spent most of time geting to know her. Feeling her checks get a little warm Jasmine looked back at the snowy owl wondering what to say. "My brothers are coming next Friday. I swear I could of told you about my family...." Jasmine said her mind wondering off seeing if she could remember. Nothing came up. Sighing Jasmine was about to explain but saw Dana glance over toward an older boy barking orders at the man. Her eyes twinkled with curiosity as Dana smiled on of her sweet smiles. That only meant that she was going to irritate him.
Jasmine jumped as her sneered at them. Not saying a word she looked from Dana to the guy and let out a little chuckle as Dana mentioned her could look like Harry. It wasn't like Jasmine to get in a fight unless they really irritated her. About to say something Dana took her hand and walked out of the door asking what she should give her brothers at the Zonkos. "I just thought about browsing around. I must say The Weasley Joke shop is much better. But Zonkos will do." Jasmine said with a smile looking over her shoulder at the boy wondering if he would follow them after that nasty comment.

Zane's stare grew deeper and a flash like lightening filled his green eyes as the girl mentioned Potter. He felt his skin begin to boil and it took all of his strength to keep him from grabbing his wand and hexing her. He watched angrily, clenching his fists as she began to walk away. Suddenly, he stormed after the two, his mind racing with evil ideas. He grabbed the girls shoulder and whirled her around, "What was that you said?" he spat fiercly. His green eyes, flickering wildly with rage, bore into her bluish greys, "For a second I thought you mentioned that twit Potter, now that wouldn't be wise... would it?" He let go of her shoulder and folded his arms cockily over his chest. His mind was racing, who did this girl think she was... did she not know who she was dealing with?
He continued to glare at the girl, breaking his stare only when he heard the second girl giggle, "You find this funny," he shot at her pulling his face closer to hers, boaring into her mind, before backing off and spitting on her shoes. He smirked a little, happy with what he had just done, "How funny is it now?" He reached into his pocket and pulled out his wand, "Now, would either of you care to continue?" he sat sneering at the two evily, his wand poised readily.

Dana laughed as Jasmine confirmed after some thinking that she actually hadn’t talked about her family much. The girls got along relatively well, but their histories and families had never actually came up in regular conversation. “Zonko’s will have to do,” Dana agreed and a moment later a hand fell onto her shoulder. Whirling around Dana had to suppress a smirk as the Slytherin boy went into a rant over Wonder-kid. Looks like Dana had calculated what to say correctly this time.
Jasmine seemed to push the guy over-board though, making fury flash quickly and flash high in Dana. The boy pulled out his wand and Dana smiled slowly. Placing a hand on Jasmine’s shoulder for a moment Dana sent a glance at her. It was a friendly reminder that she was there, a request to stay calm and a request to let Dana handle it. Spreading her arms she stepped forward to Zane leaving herself completely vulnerable to an attack as she advanced towards the boy: “Go ahead. Curse me if you have the guts. I won’t even fight back. You’re not strong enough to do any permanent damage and I’d love to see carrying a penalty for using magic where you aren’t allowed to.” The ministry would be present in a flash should the boy try anything and the penalties wouldn’t be easy.
Making a mental note to thank Kris later for teaching her martial arts Dana smiled at the boy before jumping and kicking. It was never nice to get hit with a high heel. And Dana was wearing heels right now. She felt her leg connect with something, so she figured she must have hit the guy at least a little, before she landed on her feet again. Smiling and raising her hand to fix her hair Dana added: “And how do you plan on being threatening if you can’t even handle a little girl like me?” With her 5’7’’ tall frame Dana actually wasn’t a little girl, but her slim form made her look smaller. “See, this is the difference between Potter and you. He wouldn’t have gotten eaten,” Dana threw snobbishly, turning her back again and walking to Jasmine.
“You alright? Or do you want to get a new pair of shoes while you can continue telling me about your brothers?” Dana asked with a pleasant conversational tone as if nothing had happened in between, “Brothers are neat, if not counting their habit to be over-protective at wrong times.”

They had only walked a few feet into the village when the older Slytherin stopped them and pulled Dana around to face him. Turning around Jasmine looked at her friend with an raised eyebrow keeping quiet from the glance that she gave her. Sighing Jasmine let out a little chuckle as her said Dana should of never said than. The boy than began to get in her face and asked her if it was funny, "As a matter of fact what Dana said is...Tr.." Jasmine began but stopped as he spit on her black boots. Anger began to rise in Jasmine and the only thing she wanted to do was hex him back to the rock he came under.
But Dana had this under control and kicked him in the shin with her high heeled boots. Wincing at the thought of how that could feel like. Jasmine had kicked her brother with dirty riding boots for making fun of her horse Star. Putting her arms across her chest she looked down at her books and felt her anger return. Dana said she could go and get another pair of boots but Jasmine had another idea, "No how about he cleans it off with his sleeve. These boots coast a lot of money for me and now its ruined so he cleans it up." Jasmine said taking off her boots carefully and putting them in front of the boy. She was wearing light blue knee high socks but she didn't care about getting cut. Sighing Jasmine knew she had to leave but how was she going to get rid of this guy. Looking at Dana she sent her a glance that meant she was had to go. Looking back at the boy Jasmine picked up the boots and walked closer to him stuffing them in his chest, "Good luck with getting them clean and shinny." She said with a wink and walked away but stopping to blow him a kiss. Jasmine knew Dana would torment her with this until the day she died but she didn't know what else to do.

Zane watched the girls, unworthy as they were, strut around him as if they mattered to anyone other than themselves. Inside he was laughing hysterically, 'If only they knew how disgustingly they represent themselves,' he sneered maliciously. Then before he knew it the taller dark haired girl had whirled around and kicked him in the shin. There was a throbbing pain in his leg but he didn't show it on the outside, that would be weakness. Instead he held his head high, an evil glare still adorning his square face. Then the other girl, who obviously was weak and petty, took off her shoes and set them at his feet. His smirked disbelieving, like he would be caught anywhere near her possessions. However, she suddenly changed her mind - like a child in a large candy store - and picked the shoes up to push them at his chest. To this he just laughed mockingly as she let go and they fell back to the ground.
The girls began to walk away, he watched for a few seconds - one of the girls obnoxiously blew him a kiss and he shuttered- and then coolly stuffed his wand back into his pocket. 'What a waste' he thought, half hoping he could have used an unspeakable curse on the girls. Reaching up to smooth his hair and straighten his expensive robes he turned swiftly and headed to the Hogshead.
