Jack heaved his heavy bag onto the bag, panting with the effort of dragging it into the dungeon. He had managed to stuff all his books inside the green shoulder-bag this morning and had to carry it around all day. Pushing it off the bed Jack had just laid it on, Jack fell into bed fully dressed, his eyes closing. He was ever so tired and today had been full of tiring exercises. His brown messy hair had become even more wild and his blue eyes were glazed over. As much as Jack wanted sleep to come to him, it didn't. He lay awake for hours, thinking about things. People mostly. Finally at one in the morning, his eyes dropped and Jack fell into an uneasy sleep.
Jack opened his eyes slowly. It must have been late in the morning because none of the boys were in their beds. Sighing and stretching, Jack jumped out of bed and surveyed the room before putting on new clothes and walking out of the dormitory. Even the common room was practically deserted; but that wasn't rare. Slytherins were usually in the common room at night when there was nothing else to do. Walking out of the common room and into the dungeons, Jack saw a few people he recognized and nodded at them before continuing on his way. Today, his plans were to go to Hogsmeade and relax. Nothing was going to bother him today. Jack shook his head slightly and waked onto the path into Hogsmeade. The sun was streaming through the clouds; it seemed very bright to Jack after being in the dungeons. Grabbing a his shades out of his pocket, Jack put them on and instantly the sun didn't seem as bright anymore. Jack smirked and continued on his way to Hogsmeade. Once there, he passed a shop or two without much interest, but then he came upon the Shrieking Shack. He remembered all to well the incident with Mack and Bee inside of it. He had remembered how died scared he had been. Not to keen to go any closer to it than he already was, Jack stayed at the fence, gazing at the broken down building.
