Caiest wandered into the Three Broomsticks. She hadn't planned on going to Hogsmeade this weekend but the boredom drove her out of the castle. She had debated inviting someone to make the trip more eventful before realizing that she didn't have any friends to invite. That was okay with her she didn't need people in fact she did just fine on her own.
Looking around she noticed a ton of groups. Looks like everyone wanted to go here with friends. Looking at all the groups of happy people made her almost want to be a part of them. She quickly squashed that thought. People were a waste of time. All that they brought were misery. They'd come be your friend so that you'd get attatched to them then turn on you, leave you alone and worse off then before. She knew that from first hand experience.
Walking up to the counter Caiest ordered a butterbeer. It was too bad really that she was underage or she would've ordered a fire whiskey. Caiest made her way to a darkened corner. It was quiet and dark just like her thoughts. Letting out an almost depressed sigh she took a swig of her drink then lay her head on the table she really wished she had someone to talk to. Even if she didn't want a friend someone to talk to was nice.

Dana hopped off the sledge that had brought her to Hogsmeade and smiled breathing in the fresh air. Winter was alright for a little time, but now Dana just couldn’t wait for spring anymore. Smoothening her black mini-skirt Dana started walking towards the apothecary – she had ran out of some potions ingredients so she needed to restock. Moving straight towards her destination swiftly Dana wasn’t bothered by the soft clicking of her knee-length heeled boots at all. Entering the apothecary, Dana picked up the stuff she needed and paid exactly 27 sickles and 9 knuts for it arranging that the ingredients would be sent to school for her via owl-post the following morning.
Exciting the bit dusty store again after that Dana wandered towards the Leaky Cauldron, stopping for only once to buy a small bouquet of first tulips. Sniffing the gentle spring-flowers Dana smiled calmly. Holding the small flowers in her gloved hand, Dana entered the Leaky Cauldron and looked around in the mass of students, trying to spot some friend. Noticing Caiest sitting alone in a dark corner, Dana calmly made her way over to the younger girlm while smiling absent-mindedly at some guy, who had smiled at her broadly while obviously checking out her long legs, that were shown under the short skirt. Dana didn't mind the attention, as far as the guy kept his distance. And if not, then Dana knew how to teach him a lesson. Turning her head Dana raised her hand towards the bar-tender: “Two butter-beers and some oranges for me.” Slipping into a seat opposite of Caiest Dana tilted her head in a greeting nod: “Hello, Caiest. Hope you don’t mind me ordering for you, but you seemed to be finishing this drink already. If you don’t want it, then just don’t drink it – it would be a waste of a perfectly good butter-beer, but it’s your call.”
Dana fells silent as a young waitress brought her order and shrugged her royal-blue short cloak with silvery edgings off her shoulders and straightening her crème blouse, that fitted her figure perfectly. Maybe it was because Dana was used to dining at fancy restaurants with her grand-parents but here orders were usually always filled before some other’s – Dana didn’t really mind that actually.
Taking a sip from her drink and starting to peel one of the oranges that were brought, Dana smiled calmly at Caiest: “Hopefully you don’t mind the company.”
((Hope you don't mind the company of Dana joining. If you do let me know and I'll erase the post))

((I don't mind at all.))
Caiest looked up as she noticed someone approaching and upon closer inspection she realized that it was Dana a girl she'd met once while on the grounds. Dana was one of the very few people in the world to have actually bothered to try and get to know her. She gave a small half smile as Dana ordered two butterbeers and then joined her.
"Hello Dana nice to see you again. And thanks for ordering me another butterbeer it saves me the trouble of having to do it." She said finishing the rest of hers. "As for the company I don't mind at all."

“Good to hear that,” Dana commented calmly and finished pealing her orange, while smiling and nodding towards the rest, “Orange? I like fresh fruits, especially at summer and spring. I like spending a lot of time outdoors, so having to be cooped up in the castle for the better part of year, really grates my nerves. I don’t mind winter for a short time-period but by now I already want… need spring. I actually need some new clothes as well and a formal dress. I don’t mind browsing the sotres today luckily though.”
Moving herself to a more comfortable position Dana threw one of her legs over the other and ate of piece of the orange before asking: “And you yourself? Got bored of the castle or looking for something special at Hogsmeade?”
Caiest shook her head when Dana offered her an orange. She wasn't really in the eating mood today and she didn't like oranges anyway. "No thanks on the orange. As for winter it's not so bad." It's cold and bitter kinda like me. She thought. "Neither is the being cooped up. I never really liked the sun or the outdoors much. Too bright too noisy and there's always too many people. Though shopping is good. I don't mind people too much when I get new clothes." She said smiling.
Caiest took a sip of the butterbeer Dana had ordered for her before answering her question. "I'm here because I've got nothing better to do. I'm completely and utterly bored." She said sighing.

“I don’t mind winter from time to time, but I prefer warmth. Maybe I’m just spoilt with the bit warmer weather in France,” Dana shrugged and ate one more piece of her orange, while listening to Caiest’s words, “If you don’t mind shopping, then you won’t be bored anymore. I’m dragging you along for my shopping, since you aren’t doing anything better anyway. Just let me finish my butter-beer first.”
Dana finished her orange rather quickly and took a sip of her drink, before grinning suddenly: “Great, now I already want to head to the stores and the butterbeer isn’t half as charming as I thought.”
Taking one more sip, Dana placed her bottle on the table and dropped some coins on the table, leaving enough to pay for everything with a little tip, ”I’m ready when you are.”
Caiest looked at Dana in open mouthed shock. She had never in her life been invited to anything. Even as a little girl she'd been the odd one out and that hadn't changed as she'd entered Hogwarts. Quickly closing her mouth so that she didn't look like an idiot she regained her composure and stood up. "Sure shopping sounds like fun. I need to buy some new clothes anyway." She said searching her bag for money but noticed that Dana had already set it down.
"Alright I'm ready." She said gathering up her bag. "Where to first?"

Dana smiled at Caiest as she agrred to come, even though she wondered a little over the fact that she had seemed so surprised about it. Hadn’t she really done anything like that before? “Great,” Dana smiled brilliantly as they exited the Three Broomsticks and Dana looked around the street, “How about that new boutique over there? I really need a new formal dress. I’m not even sure what style or color I want besides knowing that it has to look good on me.”
Dana grinned brilliantly as the moved towards the store: “I also need some casual clothes. But I’m always helpless when shopping alone. I can never decide what would look good on me or what not or I’m in love with absolutely every piece of clothing. I have real trouble making up my mind, so I have heaps of clothes that I have actually never worn. A real waste, isn’t it?”
Dana shook her head and grinned hopping over a rain-puddle with ease and grinning at Caiest: “So I’m glad you came along. What else is new with you in the mean time? How’s Sennie?”
Caiest walked along with Dana and followed into her a boutique. She listened as Dana talked about getting a formal dress. The chances of Caiest actually buying a formal dress was slim to none as she generally opted out of going to formal dances. She figured she could at least give Dana her opinion on the dresses she wanted to get.
"I know all about getting clothes you don't wear." Caiest said with a grin. "My parents like to send me stuff from wherever they are currently staying only the stuff they send me is horrid it's like they think I'm still 4 or something. As for Sennie she's good. I haven't really used her to fight with as much as some boy named Kris showed me this room called the Room Of Requirement and there I can get really advanced training dummies."

“You ran into my cousin? Was he nice enough,” Dana held up her hand as soon as she had asked it and shook her head, “No don’t answer that. As I’m not really sure that I’d want to know the answer. Kris is my cousin, you know. Cousin, brother, best friend.” Dana shrugged and pulling out the most horrendous piece of clothing she had ever seen and holding it in front of her, flapped her eye-lashes towards Caiest: “Tell me, please, how someone could think out something so tastefully, fantastically, amazingly horrifying? It must be the worst thing I’ve ever seen.” Dana grimaced and put the green dress with huge blue and yellow flowers that clashed terrible back onto the rack she took it from, “And I wear fancy clothes. I accompany my grand-parents often enough to fancy parties to have to own them. Luckily I like it too. I have no problems climbing trees or playing some sport – not flying nor quidditch, mark this – I have the makings of a tomboy as well, but from time to time I do like to pamper myself and look myself. To enjoy the best of being a girl.”
Looking around the boutique Dana didn’t saw anything she would have liked or wanted to see closer, so she just turned back to Caiest: “See anything you like or are you ready to move on?”
Caiest was going to give Dana her opinion on Kris until Dana decided that she didn't want to hear it. She laughed when Dana held up the most hideous dress that she had ever seen. "I'm sorry I'm not much of a fashion guru but that is the ugliest thing I've ever seen and I've seen some ugly things. I'm ready to move on."

“Thank heavens. I just had to make sure. If you had said you liked it I would have run as fast as I could as I hated the dress,” Dana said with a smile as she and Caiest excited the boutique and strolled down the hallway towards the next store, “DO you mind if we drop by Honeydukes later as well? I need some chocolate. And a deck of cards from Zonkos – my old ones are too old to practice well enough already. And I don’t my fingers to loose their touch with them.” Dana flexed her fingers for a moment – as surprising as it was she usually played cards the muggle-way. And her specialty seemed to be poker. Dana was surprisingly good at cheating at the game as well.
“But I think I need clothes first. I doubt we’ll find any formal dresses here, but I need some new clothes for summer anyway,” Dana said nudging Caiest towards the door of the next shop, “Let’s look at here.”
"I don't mind stopping by Honeydukes or Zonko's." She said. Caiest loved cards she could often be found playing solitaire or some other lone card game. On the rare occasion that she did play cards with others it was usually some type of gambling game as she was pretty good at those games and it wasn't like she didn't have the money to gamble with. She wondered if Dana or her cousin would ever like to play Poker or something with her. Shaking her head to clear her thoughts she came back into reality in time to notice that she was being steered into another clothing shop.
"I hope this one has some clothes that are actually wear-able." She said entering the brightly lit shop.

“Good,” Dana browsed the store, pulling out a pair of faded gray jeans with silvery and blue decorations sewn onto the sides and looked at them. The trousers were something different, but not something Dana really liked. “I need some pants as well for the summer. Something new and pretty naturally,” Dana old Caiest waving for the shop-assistant that they didn’t need help, “Ergh, I hate shopping when I don’t even know myself what exactly I’m looking for. I just know I want – need something pretty.”
