Today was the day that Riku had planned to go to Hogsmeade. She just loved going there, no matter what time of the year. She jumped out of bed and quickly dressed with a smile on her face. She threw on some muggle jeans and a shirt that said "Tomboy" and put on a jacket to sheild herself from the wind. She quickly put her hair into two ponytails, and feeling slightly childish, put two blue ribbons on each.

Feeling giddy, Riku made her way around Hogsmeade by herself. She smiled to herself as she walked. She was going to make it a good day no matter how gloomy it may seem. The sun was shinning brightly in the sky and Riku's eyes were shining bright with cheerfulness.

As she entered Honeydukes, her inner child came out even more. She picked up lollipops and chocolate frogs, and many things she hadn't even tried before. She walked over to the jelly beans with a grin. "Ahh, my favorite part," Riku said to herself as she grabbed another bag and began to put different colored jelly beans inside.

"A little bit of this, a little bit of that..." Riku sang happily to herself with a giggle. "It's all in the game of love...wait...jelly beans!"

Caiest woke up and was in a good mood which was strange for her as she usually dreaded the morning. It took her a moment to realize why and then it hit her. It was a Hogsmede visit today! She loved going to Hogsmede it was her favorite part of being a third year there were no annoying little brats around. Even when she was a first year she'd hated other first years and that's why she didn't have any friends whatsoever until she was a third year and even now she didn't have many.

Pushing those thoughts aside she began to dress putting on a pair of black jeans and a red tank top with a black jacket on overtop in case it was chilly out. She gathered her hair together and put it in a messy ponytail. After grabbing her bag and checking to make sure she had enough money she headed out. By the looks of the castle most people had already left. She didn't mind all that much she preferred walking alone anyway.

Once at Hogsmede she tried to decide where to go first. She decided on the candy shop as her sugar supply was running drastically low. She only had two chocolate frogs, one sugar quill, and a bag full of jellybeans left!

Caiest walked into the shop and grabbed an armful of chocolate frogs and sugar quills and was heading over to the jellybean bin. There she noticed a girl from her house scooping jellybeans while singing. She'd only talked to the girl once and that hadn't been the most pleasant meeting as she'd had a cauldron almost dropped on her head. Caiest was debating on whether she should talk to the girl or not when all the sugary goodness she'd been holding dropped into the bin. "I'm so sorry." She said laughing at how stupid she was for not holding onto the candy better.

"Ooh yeah!" Riku sang as she finished filling her bags of jelly beans. She winked at the bin for an odd reason then held up her bag of jelly beans.

"Oh la la!" She sang happily and nearly jumped when she heard the voice of a girl saying sorry.

"Huh?" Riku said. She looked to see the girl she had had a very breif conversation with in the common room.

"Oh, don't be. Here, let me help!" Riku said with a grin. Her pigtails began to bounce as she bent down and began gathering all the candy in her hands.

Caiest smiled as the girl finished her song. She seemed awfully happy today. Probably from all the sugar that surrounded her. "You sure you need any more sugar? You're awfully hyper to begin with." She said picking up the remaining candy from the Jelly Bean bin. "Oh and thanks." She said for the girl had helped her pick up the candy. "The name's Caiest by the way. We've met briefly before..." She trailed off and began scooping jelly beans into a bag.
