Bee looked around Hogsmeade. Lots of people were in couples, holding hands and smiling as if they were in their own little world. Bee scowled quietly. She disapproved people laying their soul in someone elses hands. And to Bee, that was what couples did. They would pour out their souls to one another, and then someone would break the conection and leave the other one hurting. She hated watching it happen. She had heard about it from Vika, and it didn't sound to pleasent. Bee didn't have a boyfriend, and she wasn't planning to any time soon. She walked down the crowded streets of Hogsmeade, stopping here and there to look at something interesting. She was just about to enter the sweetshop when she heard someone talking behind her to another person. She recognized that voice, and she cringed at the very thought of him. Jack. She quickly entered the shop and walked to the very back, hoping Jack wouldn't come in.

Jack strolled over to the sweetshop, wondering what he was going to buy this time. He walked into the shop, looking at all the items for sale. Should I get this, or that, or maybe that, no...how about that.... Jack's head was starting to buzz. He had been studying all week and now it was starting to catch up with him. He yawned and stretched; putting his hands over his head. He decided he needed to take a rest and sit down. The crowed was filled with people laughing and talking and doing all this stuff that he didn't enjoy doing. He stalked over to the back of the shop, thinking it would be quiet over there. Or at least, quieter. Once he saw who was sitting in the back, however, he stopped in his tracks and was tempted to turn around. It was the mudblood girl, Bridget, Bee, whatever her name was. He was just about to turn around when a better idea crossed his mind. He turned sharply on his heels to face the girl, and then he noticed that the girl had her head down. He almost laughed out loud. Was she trying to hide from him? Because if she was, she wasn't doing a good job. Jack strolled over to her with a smirk on his face.
"Well, look who it is. Your the mudblood girl right? Is it Sarah, or Racheal?" He sneered as he sat down accross from her.

Bee watched in horror as Jack approached her table. She had tried to stay low, but it seemed like she hadn't done a very good job. She looked up at him with an expression of complete innocence, but when he called her "....that mudblood girl..." Her blood started heating up in her head. She breathed in deeply, trying to calm herself down. She shouldn't let that get to her, after all, that was why Slytherins did it. They wanted to get mudbloods angry or upset. She looked down at her hands, taking deep breaths as if she had just taken a long swim. When she thought she was ready, she looked up at him again.
"It's Bee. Anyone with the right sense could remember that." Bee said with a forced calm voice. It was like she was watching a movie and she was reading the script. She didn't know what to do; it had confused her that Jack had decided to come sit by her.
"What are you doing here anyway? And why are you sitting by me? Aren't you Slytherins afraid of getting germs, just like some rude 8 year olds are?" Bee grinned at him and then stood up, she was going to go by something.

Jack watched with disgust as the mudblood made herself calm down. He had wanted to get a rise out of her; it would have been funny to watch. Jack just sat there and listened to her talk until she finally shut her mouth. Jack was just about to say something to her, Bee, but she got up and started walking away. What the... Was she running away? Was she that afraid of him? Jack smirked at the thought, but then...when she left...she had given him a grin. He didn't think that made her very scared. It probably meant that she was going to be back. Jack waited, but when she didn't return, he stood up and walked in the direction she had went. It was easy to see where she was, since her blonde hair was so visible. He stood behind her, waiting for her to say something, until he relized that Bee didn't know he was right there. This caught Jack as amusing and he quickly thought up a little prank.
Jack walked slowly up to Bee until he was right behind her, and then he pounced, grabbing her shoulders and yelling "Gotcha!"

Bee walked over to a show of candy. It all looked so delicious, she wasn't sure what to get. She thought hard over two particularly interesting pieces of candy, when someone grabbed her shoulders and yelled, "Gotcha!" It scared Bee so much she screamed. But she wasn't that put off. She had been practising her defenses, so when someone had snuck up behind her, she had whipped out her wand and pointed it at however was there. When she turned around, she saw....Jack. Of course, what had she suspected? Jack was as sneaky as sneaky gets, and that was another thing Bee hated about him. She was so angry right now, she couldn't even talk. She just stood there, her wand pointed in Jack's face.
Finally, she put down her wand and walked over to the casheir, she knew what she was going to buy. She bought the acid pops, which burn holes in the eaters tongue. Once she had bought it, she turned on Jack, holding out the piece of candy like a piece offering, a perfectly innocent smile on her face.
"Would you like this? I forgot these are my least favorite kinds of candy."

Jack laughed out loud as Bee screamed and flung her wand out at him. He had hoped she would scream, but it seemed even funnier that she had tried to defend herself. People were staring at them, some looked a little uncomfortable, as if they weren't sure what to do.
After a couple seconds of Jack laughing and Bee sticking her wand in his face, Bee lowered her wand and walked away. This confused Jack so much, he forgot to laugh. What is the matter with this mudblood? He asked himself as he watched her buy something. He was really hungry, he hadn't had any lunch or breakfast. He watched with anticiapation as she drew closer, and then, to his great surprise, she asked him if he would like some. Jack, feeling like a crazed animal, grabbed it out of her hands without a thank you or please. He unwrapped it without even looking at what it was, and stuck it in his mouth. For a few seconds it tasted great, but then, it started to hurt. What.... Jack thought wildly, suckers don't hurt.... He felt a burning sensation on his tongue, and then far too late, he spit it out into a garbage can nearby.
"Argh!" Jack yelled back at Bee as he swaggered towards the counter. He asked the check out person if he could have some water, which was very difficult because of the hole in his tongue. Instead, the guy recommended this one thing that would seal the hole right up. Jack took it from the guy and put it on his tongue. A wonderful healing sensation, and then..nothing. He looked in the mirror and saw that his tongue was holeless. His anger brimming to the very top, Jack stomped over to Bee.

Bee started laughing as Jack seemed to go crazy. It was quite halaious, and Bee was soon doubled over, laughing her head off. She wasn't for long whoever. Jack got this thing that helped his tongue and now he was advancing on her. Bee watched him carefully, trying to detect hints of brutality, but seeing none, she relaxed.
"You should never underestimate me just because of my blood, Jack." Bee told him with a twisted smile on her face. That would probably make him even more upset, but Bee was having her fun.

Jack reached Bee in two steps and took out his wand, forgetting all about being calm.
"Why did you do that? Think that's funny do you?" Jack asked as Bee stopped her lauging. "There, that's better." Jack looked at Bee as she said something that made Jack think. He had underesimated her because she was a mudblood. Also, she was a blonde. Not all blondes were stupid, but some where. Jack had heard jokes about them from some muggle borns passing in the halls. Aparrently, blondes were supposed to be stupid, but the mudblood blonde had just outsmarted Jack. He was so angry at her that he couldn't even say anything more. Finally, he relaxed a little and lowered his wand. He looked around the shop and saw that most people were staring at them. He shifted uncomfortably on his feet, wondering what to do. Should he just leave and go somewhere to get away from her? Or should he just bring her along? After all... he had to get back at her somehow.
"Would you like to get out of here?" Jack asked, not looking at Bee. He hoped she wouldn't think that he...that he...liked her. Because if she did, that would be the wrong story all together. He just wanted to get back at her for her little prank on him.

Bridget was a little surprised at how Jack had took the little joke. At first, he seemed angry, but now he looked calm and collected. She had thought he would have done something to get back at her, revenge perhaps. She watched him carefully, trying to detect hints of untrustworthyness. She was even more startled when he asked if she wanted to get out of the shop. It was a little strange, since they both had been enemies since they first met in the student lounge. Now, something was going on, Bee could sense it. As strange as it seemed, Bee went a long with it.
"So, where do you want to go?" She asked, thinking of all the places they could go.

Jack could tell Bee was surprised but he was relieved she wasn't taking this the wrong way. He walked briskly over to the door and reached for the handle when he heard Bee's voice behind him. Where was he going to go? A sudden thought came to him: Firewhiskey!
"How about the Three Broomsticks?" Jack asked sincerely as he opened the door. The air was cold and the wind, powerfully chilly. He wrapped his cloak around him and held the door open for Bee, who was right behind him. He was trying to be as nice as possible, so he could trick her at the end.

Bee was still watching Jack carefully. This wasn't normal behavior for a Slytherin. She would know. She never had the best experinces with Slytherins after all, and this could be no different. She grimaced at the thought.
She walked to the door that Jack was holding open for her. She thought that was even stranger. She looked at Jack as he suggested the Three Broomsticks.
"Sure, why not?" Bee said slowly, still watching Jack. The Three Broomsticks was only a few blocks down; not very far. The air outside chilled her, so she wrapped her cloak around her to try to keep it out. She started walking towards the pub, Jack right behind her.

Jack could barely hold himself back. She seemed to suspect something, but she had no idea what he was going to do. It was kind of funny, she was so helpless.
He walked over to the Three Broomsticks, and opened the door, feeling the warmth overwhelm him. He went inside, forgetting all about Bee who was still outside. Then he turned around and remembered why he had come here. He walked back over to the door and opened it so Bee could walk in.

Bee walked quickly, trying to catch up to Jack, who was walking super fast. He seemed excited about something, which Bee couldn't quite figure out. She walked a little behind him, so she could think. Why, oh why, was he doing this? Did he have a sudden change of mood? Of heart? She had heard about the Mackenzie girl and that Tristan kid who had gotten together. It was a Slytherin with a Ravenclaw. How weird was that? Was Jack doing this too? Except, it would be..her... NO! Bee thought. That can't be right! She didn't have any feelings for him....did she? NO! she thought again. She didn't! And never would! Anway, he didn't like her either, so even if she did like him, which she DIDN'T, meant that she shouldn't even try. He's a Slytherin, he's not worth it, Bee thought, full of remorse. Her blonde hair was coming out of the bun that had held it back so far. She probably looked like some monster coming out of a wind storm. The thought made Bee laugh a little, she hoped Jack didn't notice.
After walking for a little, they finally reached the pub. When Jack opened the door, warmth came over Bee. She was going to step inside when the door closed in her face. Cold consumed her once again, as Bee stomped her feet on the ground. This was normal Slytherin behavior, and she wished he would go back to acting like a polite person. She was just about to open it herself when it swung open from the inside. Jack's face appeared in front of her, who looked a little sorry. Wait, did she just say he looked sorry. She looked closer at his face, but then the expression was gone and replaced with his normal smirk. Great, she thought forlornly. This time he held open the door for him, and she gladly stepped inside.
"Thanks," She murmmered to him without even looking at him. She headed straight towards the bar getting ready to buy a butterbeer.

Jack turned around as he heard Bee's thanks. It kind of surprised him, but he liked it none the less.
"No problem, mudblood." Jack said to her as they walked over to the bar. he remembered his plan and then knew that it wouldn't work if she was at the bar with him.
"Why don't you go save a seat." Jack told her a little forcefully. He felt like pushing her away, but instead he waited to see what she would do. Hopefully, he wouldn't have to show his true side.

Bee frowned at his remark but said nothing. She was use to it by now. Usually to Jack, she was the mudblood girl or just mudblood. Why did he have such a pureblood arrogance? She looked at him, a painful smile on her face. When he asked her to go save a seat, she was almost relieved to have a chance to get away from him. She walked away, grabbing a seat near the window. It had started to rain outside, and Bee heard a crackle of thunder in the distance. She loved thunderstorms, it was one of her favorite things. She waited for Jack while she stared out the window.

Jack smirked as Bee followed his orders. She was so obediant. Jack turned back to the bar and gestured to get the bartenders attention.
"Two firewhiskeys." Jack said in short tones. He didn't feel like argueing with this man. The bartender seemed to have read his expression; he passed up two firewhiskeys almost right away. Jack sauntered over to where Bee had sat down. She was staring out the window, apparently lost in thought. Jack watched as her green eyes strayed all over the place; watching the skies light up with lightning. Jack enjoyed thunderstorms but he didn't want to have anything in common with Bee.
Jack coughed to get Bee's attention. "I got the drinks. Here's your firewhiskey and here's mine." Jack said in pleasent tones. He took out a box of powder out of his pocket and held it over Bee's drink.
"Before you drink up, let me add this. The bartender over there recommended it." Jack said, waving his hand at the bartender. He put it in Bee's drink without waiting for a response. He then passed it down to her and waited for her to take a drink, not touching his own drink.

Bee heard Jack approach her, but she didn't turn around. She stared out the window, enjoying the sights and sounds of the thunderstorm. Jack's sudden cough made Bee wrench her gaze from outside.
"Thanks, but why firewhiskey?" She said as she watched Jack take out something from his pocket. "What is that?" came the immediate question. She listened to what Jack said and watched as he poured some in her drink. She took it from him once he was done and took a huge gulp of it. It tasted alright but then Bee felt a strange sensation taking place........

Jack smirked.
"Firewhiskeys the best and I thought you would, er, enjoy it." He said, trying to act as normally as possible. "You heard what I just told you this was. It'll make the drink taste much better."
He watched with excitement as Bee took a huge drink. This was far to easy. At first, Bee looked normal, but then a weird expression went on her face. He smirked, everything was working. Soon, Bee's tongue will be two feet long. It would be histaricle, at least to Jack, and he couldn't wait to watch it take place.

Bee could feel the sudden sensation and looked at Jack. Was it her imagination or was Jack looking happier than normal? She looked at him carefully, and then said: "Wha chu doin?" She looked down at herself; she couldn't talk! What did he do to her?! Bee was about to bite her tongue but for a split second, she couldn't. He tongue was out of her mouth. And, it was getting larger. That jerk! She thought. She didn't even bother trying to speak, it would turn out useless. Bee shot a nasty glance at Jack before taking out her wand and using a simple shrinking charm. Her tongue shrunk to normal size, and once that was done, Bee rounded on Jack.
She was going to snap at him, make him feel bad, ask why he did that to her. But after thinking about it, he did have a good reason. He had taken revenge. The whole situation seemed quite funny to Bee. So funny it made her laugh. She laughed harder and harder, drawing breaths whenever she could. She reached out for something that could support her, but when she looked at the thing she had reached for, she saw it was Jack's hand.

Jack hollered out: "Look at you now, mudblood!" The sight was so funny Jack had to sit down. He laughed and laughed, until Bee put a spell on her tongue to make it it's normal size. At first, Bee looked perfectly outraged, which made Jack stand up in case she did some sort of attack. He wanted to be ready no matter what, he had already gotten tricked by the mudblood girl. But what she did, was so unsespected that Jack almost dropped his wand. She started laughing, just like Jack had done a few moments ago. She was laughing so hard Jack could see tears in her eyes. She reached out for something and grabbed Jack's hand.
Jack, was so surprised he had to sit down. Her hand still gripping his rather hard. He looked at Bee, watching her green eyes dance and her blonde hair bounce. Why was he looking at her like that? He had no idea. He still could feel her hand in his, but he didn't let go. He just looked at her, shocked, totally stunned.
